Stopped building sets in 09 and now have stopped chasing SFGiants/49ers in 2019. But still have lots of wants. Due to a generous divorce court had to return to work, so trading is still important to me but now pulling and mailing can only be done on thursday and fridays.

This site has been amazing in helping me rekindle my love for trading cards. I prefer baseball but do have some moderate interest in basketball and football.  I love to trade! If I send an offer and it's not quite right feel free to counter.

I am mostly focused on building sets right now.  I'm currently working on:

1995 Leaf: 85%
1996 Donruss : 99% - just need Andres Galarraga and Karim Garcia.

If you come across a Carlos Baerga I might be interested in it. Trying to get one of everything.

I ship most things PWE though bigger trades will go in a BMWT.

Cubs and Bears sets are my ultimate goal.  I am looking for Cubs or Bears cards. I am looking for 1980 and younger to be no lower than EX-MT.  I have no preference on the condition of cards older than 1980.  I may be willing to accept cards in lesser condition from other teams, but please let me know in your message.

I am open to selling any card, except for those in the Cubs and Bears collections but I am not able to purchase cards at this time.

All reasonable offers will be considered.  The larger the trade, the better (I prefer multiple PWEs).

If prices are a consideration, I use Sportlots and eBay.  Most times, I do not consider values and prefer to just go common for common and vintage for vintage.  I consider trading to be a fun activity and not one to retire on.

If you accept an offer from me, I will strive to ship within 24 hours.

I have done my best to list the conditions per the PSA grading scale if I consider them less than EX-MT.  I do not profess to be proficient at grading.  If I think a card is less than EX-MT and it is not marked as such, I will do my best to let you know in the message.

Thank you for taking a look.

WHETHER IT BE 1 CARD OR 100 CARDS I WILL NOT LONGER DO PWE TRADES. WHEN I DO A PWE TRADE I WOULD PLACE THE CARDS IN A SHEET PROTECTOR IN BETWEEN TWO PIECES IF CARDBOARD. I WOULD THEN PAY THE EXTRA FEW CENTS TO MAKE IT NON MACHINABLE. OR I WOULD SPRING FOR THE PACKAGE RATE TO MAKE SURE THAT THEY GET THERE IN ONE PIECE. I AM SICK OF GETTING DAMAGED CARDS DUE TO IT GOING THROUGH THE MACHINE WHEN IT SHOULD NOT (JUST BECAUSE YOU WRITE NON MACHINEABLE DOES NOT MAKE IT SO)....OR POOR PACKAGING OR.....I JUST RECEIVED  A MACHINE DAMAGED ENVELOPE INSIDE A USPS PLASTIC BAG CONTAINING A SEMI RIGID HOLDER TAPED TO ONE VERY THIN PIECE OF CARDBOARD.......AND NO CARDS IN IT! AND THAT IS IF I GET THE PACKAGE AT ALL. PREPARE TO SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY FOR A PACKAGE WITH TRACKING IF YOU WOULD LIKE ANY OF MY CARDS.

YES USPS SUCKS BUT DON'T GIVE THEM THE OPPORTUNITY TO MESS IT UP. PLEASE.

BECAUSE OF THIS, I WILL ONLY BE LOOKING TO MAKE BIG TRADES TO OFSET THE POSTAGE COST.

I mainly collect Mets but also have my favorite PC to add to. My wants, traders and collection is by far not all listed yet. If you see cards that you would like to trade for, send a proposal with what you want to trade for. Then I can both look at your list of traders and list of wants to add to the trade. Until all is listed that may be the best way to see what we both have to fatten the trade.

I do collect certain sets or subsets with some not on my want lists yet. I do check every day but do not have time to actually trade every day. I will do my best to answer and upload all of my lists as time allows.

Looking to finish a second 1985 Topps set. This will be actioned off to raise money for my local little league. Funraisers could not be held last year so I am trying something to get a few more bucks going their way.

Trying to complete the 1974 Topps set. Looking for EX or better. Thanks to all that have helped already.

LOOKING HARD FOR THE FOLLOWING TO COMPETE THE SETS WITH THE WANTED SP CARDS

2015 Topps Heritage

2019 Stadium Club Chrome

2020 Topps Gallery

2021 Topps Gypsy Queen

I will be listing my basketball, football and hockey cards soon. I do not collect so will trade for baseball or sell. If looking to buy, shoot me a message with what you need and what you are willing to pay for it. No offer is unreasonable but it may not be accepted.

Any and all Braves cards from 1954 - 2020 (RIP Hank Aaron).

I have decided to scale back from trying to collect every Braves card ever made and concentrate on the the sets I like. Lately it seems to be next to impossible to collect team sets since there are so many inserts, VAR, SP, and just all to many brands. Topps has once again turned collecting into $$$ for them by making so many different brands. The cost to collect is getting to be very expensive and making me question the hobby again. I still plan on trading and looking for the cards I am still missing.

Willing to trade just about anything for Braves cards......

I am open to trade most cards not part of any set I am trying to complete, currently closing in on the following Topps sets:  1972, 1975 & 2018 Allen & Ginter and any other sets which I am close to completing, slowly adding to 1966 & 1967 Topps sets. Interested in A&G cards, inserts and mini cards.

I’ve been collecting cards for over 45 years and have over 345,000 unique cards in my main collection, including some nice vintage stuff.  I collect older cards of the four major sports but lately I've been expanding to some more recent sets.  I'm primarily a Set Builder and I’m looking for other like-minded set builders to trade with.   I’ve accumulated tons of extra cards that I would like to trade away with almost 250,000 cards in my current For Trade list.  Big trades don't bother me. I have a huge Want List, so hopefully you have something I need.  Feel free to make me an offer.

For Canadian Traders: It's expensive for me to trade across the border.  Going forward I would like to limit cross border trades to two (2) PWEs. That's about 54 standard-size cards.  Thanks.

Note on Donruss * Variations and Upper Deck Holo Variations:
At the moment I can't guaranty the junk wax era Donruss/Leaf cards and the UD holo variations are listed with the correct variation (I honestly hate variations myself).  If the specific variation is important to you, please say so in the trade offer.  I'll do my best find the correct one, if possible.

Note on Vintage Cards:
I have over 7,500 vintage cards listed for trade (I consider vintage to be 1977 or earlier).  For each card I've noted a condition grade and if you check closer, a note on each regarding any condition issues (be sure to select the correct one if multiple cards are shown).  Please note that I'm by no means a professional grader and if you're hyper-sensitive on card condition, please message me first and I'd be happy talk about it.  In exchange for these cards I have three priorities:

  • 1) similar vintage cards that I need (any sport)
  • 2) inserts for my 90s sets that I need (any sport)
  • 3) or non-junk era base cards that i need as a last resort (any sport)

Note on Card ConditionA card noted as Pr, Fr, Gd, or GdVg will have some obvious condition issues such as creasing, corner wear, or marks.  I would consider them place holders in a collection at best (I've listed them because some people do want place holders).  A VG card will usually be a clean card with some corner wear or a centering issue.  For me, VG would be the bare minimum for my personal collection.  EX will be nice sharp card and VgEx will be something just between VG and Ex, still a nice card with a small issue that prevents it from being EX.  NM in vintage is a tough find.

Came across tcdb.com at the end of 2019, and have already completed over 700 transactions.  Love it so far.  (Stole this from another member, but......my goal is to have zero cards in my For Sale/Trade List.  So keep the trades comin'!)

Current Priority: (Non "PC") lower-priced Hall of Fame autographed cards.  (Jo Jo White, Elvin Hayes, John Hannah, Rick Barry, Orlando Cepeda, etc)  Prefer licensed products, but ok with any sport.  Already up to 40 through eBay.  Even if it's not on my Want List, please feel free to add to any trade proposal.

Update #3 (10/20/21):  All 1977 sets (Baseball, Basketball, Football & Hockey) are now complete.  Thanks to all for the trades to help make it happen!

Update #2: 1977-78 Topps Basketball is now complete as well!

Update #1 to current project below: 1976-77 Topps Hockey is now complete! Well on my way on the other sets. Appreciate all the help to this point.

***My newest project is to complete Topps sets for all four major sports from 1977 (my birth year).  I have the complete set of baseball, but have now added all cards for 1977 Topps Football, 1976-77 & 1977-78 Topps Basketball, and 1976-77 & 1977-78 Topps Hockey to my Want List***  (TASK COMPLETED)

My PC is as follows (with TCDB rankings as of 11/10/2021):

NBA: Giannis (4), Dirk Nowitzki (2), and Tim Duncan (3).  (I also - unofficially - collect MJ , Kobe, & Larry Bird).

NFL: Aaron Rodgers (2), Davante Adams (2), Aaron Jones (1), Sterling Sharpe (3), Jaire Alexander (1), Brett Favre (19) and Don Majkowski (2).

MLB: Garrett Mitchell (1), Aaron Ashby (1), Roberto Clemente (1), Jackie Robinson (3), Walker Buehler (1), Robin Yount (11), Tony Gwynn (11), Hal Morris (3), Mark Grace (6), Ethan Small (1), Jo Adell (2), Pat Listach (1), Corbin Burnes (4) and Mark Langston (1).

WWE: Lita (7).

(Although I currently live in Florida, I was born in Milwaukee.....hence my obsession with Wisconsin sports teams.  Ha)

Please check out my For Sale/Trade list.  Feel free to message me any time.....let's see what we can get done!  (I don't necessarily trade based on "book value", but rather the value to me, so please feel free to counter if I propose a trade that you feel is unfair).

I keep up with the Topps and Donruss base baseball sets.

  • Currently looking for 1973 Topps in ExMt or better condition

I also enjoy collecting oddball baseball sets.  My current focus is on the following:

  • Starting Line Up cards (not the figures)
  • Sponsored teams sets like Mother's, Police, Fire Safety, Kahn's, Coke, etc.
  • Updating my Hostess box panel cards (individuals)

I am always looking for cards that I do not have of the following Hall of Famers.

  • Frank Thomas (White Sox only)
  • Carlton Fisk (Red or White Sox)
  • Ernie Banks

PLEASE READ

CARD CONDITION

I have removed all recent cards that are not NRMT or better from my inventory.  ExMt or better from 80's or earlier.  Anything less than ExMt will be specified and discussed before mailing.  In turn, I ask that you do not send me anything that does not meet these criteria.

POSTAGE

I will send all cards in plain white envelope (PWE) unless agreed otherwise or if card values are high.  Mailing more than 18 cards may be split into separate envelopes.  I always buy postage at the post office and get a receipt so I have some kind of verification.

Single cards will go out in a toploader.  Multiple cards will go in a 9 pocket sheet, folded and placed between more rigid cardboard.  The goal is to keep it thin to keep it cheap and avoid package charges.

Hey All,

I have had to pack up my collection to move so I am currently taking a shirt trading break. I will resume when I settle in to my new home.

Thank you all who have waited patiently for a response to a trade.

Primarily Baseball: Set Builder & Player Collector in the 80's and 90's and there a few sets that I am seeking to complete.  Really enjoy the odd-ball stuff upon my return to the hobby.  Many duplicates for trade.  Still working on cataloging many 1980-1993 Topps, Donruss, Fleer, Score, Bowman and Upper Deck cards as I built sets from wax/cello/rack packs with very little help via the trade.

Some Football:  Built sets in the 80's and have some duplicates to trade.

Some Hockey:  Built sets in the early 90's and have some duplicates to trade.

Some Golf:  Built 1981, 1982 Donruss Golf  and 1991 Pro Set.  Some duplicates for trade.

Some Basketball:  Not sure exactly how I acquired most of these cards and most are for trade.

Some Multi-Sport:  Not sure exactly how I acquired most of these cards and most are for trade.

Some Racing:  Built a few sets in the early 90's and have some duplicates for trade.

Some Non-Sports:  Built sets in the late 80's and Early 90's and there are a few that are incomplete.  Have some duplicates for trade.

Anything that isn't on this list that currently resides in my collection is going to be removed, either through PIFs here (1st priority) or hopefully listed on COMC (2nd priority - check out my store here). I'm not terribly interested in trading, as I don't move very fast when pulling trades. However, if I'm looking for something specific and notice you have it FS/T, I may reach out to try and make an offer. I don't expect to receive any proposals, and would rather send someone a few cards from their wantlist and get nothing in return than try to hash out a deal.

I do have cards listed FS/T; they are available via COMC, listed in my "COMC" collection, and can be accessed by following the External Sales Link on those cards. I don't have them in my possession, so I can't do a trade with you. However, I want to see these cards go to people who really want them. If you see something you like, send me a message on here and let me know - the price will come down, and I'll even take a bit of a loss to get you cards for your collection.

My wantlist is turned off, as I primarily plan to use it to track my collection. If you want to send me a PIF, I truly appreciate it, and would prefer that you ask me what I'm looking for from the above lists. Surprises are great, but if you're feeling that generous, I don't want you to waste a stamp, or time pulling stuff I already have.

#1 Miguel Sano Collector on TCDB with 371 unique cards (goal is to obtain all Sano cards possible)

Trading: PWE shipping, will use multiple envelopes if needed. My 70s cards are well loved cards-some are very good but some are rounded corners so to make sure there's no surprises I'm just going with saying they all are well loved so you won't be disappointed in a trade. The newer stuff 85 to current is great conditions.

My collection is one that sparks joy to me. I have no rhythm or reason to it, each card brought joy to me and so it was added to the collection. My want list is cards that spark joy for me. My high priority wants are 1974 Topps, 1975 Topps. I do not worry about conditions on these cards-I just want to build the sets. Also very interested in 2018-2021 Minnesota Twins and Pokémon.

This hobby is my saving grace! I found it as a way to help my anxiety and the friendships I have made in this hobby are amazing! I truly appreciate everyone in this hobby!

I look forward to doing lots of trades here and getting these cards in your mailbox and collection where they belong! When I send offers I like to match inserts to inserts, serial number to serial number, era to era; please try to do the same as well. In trade I'm more focused right now on my 2014-2020 cards.

One of my binder projects is a Topps Twins project and am mainly needing the vintage now, I am happy to add cards with character aka poor condition for the vintage cards. This project is to tell the story of the decades and what better way than to have character to the cards. That's for the vintage, I don't want 1990s cards that are rounded edges and ripped up.

My collection is valued at how much I'm smiling at the end of the day :)

I'm trying to liquidate the FST list, so let's trade with reasonable offers!

I'll trade old for new and new for old. It's my life's mania to hand collate base Topps sets. I have completed 1973-2021. I am building my 1970-72 topps baseball sets right now. Looking for moderate condition (VG-VGEX-EX+) as I build my sets.

Sent trades to 35/50 states. All 50 before I die, maybe?

PC is Kaline, Casey Mize, Dillon Dingler, Spencer Torkelson and Cal Eldred.

I can go get ice cream whenever I want.

Topps and Topps Update Photo Variation SPs are my main PC.

I've collected nearly 900 in a little more than a year. Anything you see on my Trade List can be had for SPs. I will gladly trade dozens of base cards or inserts for any photo variation I don't have, whether it's a Mike Trout variation or a Franklin Barretto. If I don't have it, I want it.

Willing to buy SSPs if we can't work out a trade.

Only paying via PayPal G and S unless you have a proven track record on the site.

***Mailing***

Anything I can easily and safely package in a PWE will be sent in that manner. Larger trades or those including more valuable or larger cards will be sent First Class with Tracking. These decisions are made at my discretion. I take a great deal of pride in delivering quality cards. If I send something PWE, you can be sure it is secure and well packaged. If there is anything wrong with anything you receive me, please let me know immediately.

Chipper Jones, Derek Jeter, Tony Gwynn, Ozzie Smith, Don Mattingly.

Players from Delaware including Delino DeShields, John Mabry, Chris Widger, Randy Bush, Chris Short, Ian Snell, Joey Wendle, and others.

Cards on my for sale/trade list typically consist of the following conditions (I will let you know if an individual card is in worse condition):

2020-2010 - Fresh out of the pack, typically NrMt

2000-2009 - Ex-Mt to Nr-Mt (may have a fuzzy corner or show a little bit of edge wear from being in a box, especially if the card has a dark colored border)

1988-1999 - Cards from when I was a kid. Some may have some fuzzy corners or edge wear from being in a box. If the wear/damage seems significant I will let you know once I pull them.

1981-1988 - Some may have some edge wear, fuzzy corners, may have a dinged corner. Others may be straight out of the pack (I recently bought a bunch of old packs and opened them). I will let you know if there are any serious issues.

1980 and older - I typically include the condition. Most of these cards are EX at best. Some are a lot worse. I can send photos if you are interested, just ask.

I don't typically pay attention to centering unless it is really bad. If the card is legitimately miscut and you can see another card on it then I just throw it out and it won't be listed here (with the exception of some vintage stuff).

I prefer to trade my non-baseball for baseball cards, as I'm trying to focus my collection and reduce the space it takes up.

I ship PWE unless it's too many cards to fit or there's a card of significant value.

I collected in the late 80's. Then completely shut down for 30 years. Pandemic provided me an opportunity to return to my collection spring 2020. I had 72 complete sets--Topps regular and traded sets from 1980-1996, and all of the other brands during that era, includiing the 1984 Fleer Update set.  In 2020 I sold the entirety to a LCS. The only cards I retained were personal card collections for Puckett and Sandberg. I sold my Sandberg collection of 400+ cards in 2021. My only focus is my Puckett collection (currently #2 on TCDb)--over 1,200 different KP cards. I am willing to buy or trade. My only traders are Puckett cards and some MN Twins issued team sets from 1985-1986-1987.

My son and daughter are both big into different non sports (Pokemon, Mars Attacks, and anything political) and boxing.

If it's on my want list I'm willing to trade for it.  Shoot me an offer.

Collect Baseball Hall of Famers and notable players from the 70s/80s to the modern era but am interested in all eras of baseball.

I try to be carefull of condition. I note condition issues in the details where I can but have not yet gotten to most of my traders. If not noted I will check with potential trade partners on anything that is worse than EX and I expect the same. I also try to keep my lists accurate but have given up on ever getting it perfect. I apologize in advance if there is something on my trade list that I don't actually have.

All offers considered but prefer to trade like for like - i.e. modern for modern or vintage for vintage.

Shipping in PWE is fine with me

Working on completing Topps Baseball sets 1970-1973.   I have complete sets from 1974 to 1981 (I think) that I haven't looked at in 20 years.  May need to upgrade some as I sort through them.

Trying to complete Reds team sets from any year, have most of the 70s covered and am working backwards.  Have a good start on the 60s.  Partial Reds sets from 1980-2020 are sitting in boxes waiting to be sorted.  I have alot of reds duplicates including specials/inserts for former reds stars (Bench, Morgan, etc,)

Have some misc. items I have accumulated that I will try to list like basketball cards, modern baseball.

Still working on updating my collection in the database.

Don't see anything you need? Check back. My list grows daily and so does my collection. I just recently acquired an additional 130,000 cards that I have yet to go thru before I can enter them.  Gonna be busy for quite some time.

Currently working on entering 1991 Donruss.

I will eventually be adding football, basketball, hockey, Nascar, golf, and some misc. I will only be trading these for baseball.

As far as variants go, I collect:

     89 Donruss Bonus MVP's - All variants

90 Donruss - Both pack variants...not the factory version

Update after 6 months on site (joined on Thanksgiving 2020; couldn't host or travel that day due pandemic lockdown)

I continue to be impressed by the membership here.  100 deals completed, and only 2 with issues (1 wasn't delivered due p.o. imcompetence, trading partner made it right immediately; and another trader didn't fully describe item with a major flaw and then sent incorrect cards but made up for it after a 2 month wait).  All partners I've dealt with show commitment to shipping quickly and doing drama-free deals, and I sincerely hope that continues!  Haven't yet completely decided how to handle vintage card deals, it just seems easier to deal with modern stuff so there are no disagreements regarding card condition which can get sticky at times.

Near term direction and goals:  finish 1 Topps Heritage set (2016 Trout SP where are you), add Mike Schmidt needs to wantlist, add wants in 2002 Topps 206 and 2003 Topps 205 mini sets (non-polar bear backs) and complete 2009 Topps 206 mini set with all Piedmont-back SP variations.

The most enjoyable trades I've found were with individual team 'super collectors'.  I've got enough oddball stuff going back to the early 70s that I can usually find something they've been in search of for a while, and I enjoy the dig!

***** In an effort to save everyone time and effort, please send me a DM to discuss a possible trade prior to proposing; if we have mutual interest, we can work through the proposal process. Please also read below. If you choose not to send me a message prior to proposing a trade, PLEASE at least include a note in your proposal acknowledging that you have read this information.*****

I am primarily a set-builder focusing on baseball, especially vintage. I am currently focused on building vintage baseball sets. (If it's a vintage baseball card not on my want list, I might still be interested.  Just ask!)

I also collect memorabilia from:

  • baseball (especially HOFers, current/former Dodgers, Giants, Yankees, and/or Angels)
  • football (SF 49ers)

***Trade tip: Conditions of cards, especially vintage, can vary. If you are looking for a specific condition of a card, DM me prior to proposing a trade. Otherwise, I will send you the best copy of a card that I have.***

Regarding card condition, I generally don't like using the letter grading scale (e.g. Ex, VG, G, etc.) as those terms mean different things to different people. (Even the professional grading companies can't agree on what specific terms mean.)

I've tried to note my collection with any egregious condition issues (such as a marked checklist or very poor card condition), but sometimes I might have missed making specific noted here or there. If you are looking for specific condition of a card (especially vintage), please DESCRIBE what you are looking for such as "no creases/writing" or something similar.  It will help in trade conversations; I'm also more than willing to send photos of my cards. (If you have Twitter, that's usually the easiest way I've found to swap photos and chat about a trade discussion. If you don't have Twitter, I will usually provide links to photos of the cards involved in a trade if requested.)

Red Sox (#14 on 8/3/21) and Hall of Famers (current and future!)

  • If you see something on my For Trade list but we don't match up well, let me know. I'm sure I can try to make a swap happen!
  • I usually trade using a PWE (plain white envelope - thanks AnalogKid) for up to 27 cards, but let me know if you prefer a different way to send cards. If more than 27 cards, I either go with 2 PWEs or a bubble mailer.
  • My cards are at least NrMt unless otherwise noted. I try my best to grade cards using a few sources (Site 1Site 2), but will let you know if there's a surprise when I pull the cards for trade.
  • Please let me know if there are any notable condition details with cards, especially if vintage. I will try to ask when proposing/considering a trade as well.
  • This is a great site. Thank you for trading!

Note: '88 - '92 Donruss variations on my FT/FS list are up to date.

Cardinals Baseball any year any brand

Some Vintage Topps Baseball Set Building (in any condition).....

Also doing 9 page project of John Riggins (Football/Redskins), see want list, can use dupes of some.

Memphis Grizzlies basketball added to want list recently.

I have NOT separated my traders into dot and no dot variations (or letter variations).  If this matters to you, I do not mind checking for a particular one for your want list...

I do expect nm or better condition on 81-present cards (unless agreed upon lower condition in messages)  On vintage, I collect any condition except on upgrade lists.

If you do want to trade vintage, pleaes be clear on what your condition requirements are....many of my extra vintage are in lower conditions..

Completed 2260+ trades with 540 different traders (in multiple groups) since 2005

Have lots of wants on my web page, not on this database

Everything in dupes collection is available for trade even if not in trade/sales list

I can only ship on weekends ....

Some of you may be frustrated that I turn off trades, but here is why:

I am in multiple trading groups, and simply do not have time to do more than 1 or 2 trades as week here.

Many times, the best way to trade with me is to PM about generally what you are looking for and I can respond timely if I have an 'opening' in my 1 or 2 trades per week (or get to you the following week or such)

I am open to offers to buy although my primary focus is trading.

PC - John Elway. Also, looking to fill holes in the sets I collected when I was younger, and trying to build the Topps baseball sets I missed out on when I "stopped" collecting for a while. Just recently started to build a collection of Texas Rangers Topps base parallels.

To get the most for my postage buck, I'm trying to keep my trades to either: 1.) - less than 20 cards or so (which will go out in PWE's), or 2.) - larger than 50 which will go out in bubble mailers. Also, unless they're something which I'm really interested in, I'll pass on trades of only 2 or 3 cards going each way.

Due to the limit on how many cards that can be placed on the wantlist, if you don't see it in my collection then I want it.

I DO NOT trade from my Collection unless there are two of the same card that you are needing.

---

RefsIntheBack is short for referees-in-the-background. Part card collection, part history project. I am trying to 1) collect (two of) every basketball card with a referee's face visible and 2) identify each referee.

I would love PWE trades - primarily in the US, occasionally international. *Warning,* I am a slow processor and transactions take me a long time sometimes, mostly because I do most of my card "work" over the weekend.

Note: If you offer me a trade where you have used the pricing on this site as your justification for the fairness of the trade, be prepared to have it declined or countered.  Using a pricing of a small sample size or comparing apples and oranges is not accurate in evaluating a trade. As well, if the only cards you have for trade are those you are offering, then you are basically telling me "Take it or leave it"; chances are I will "leave it" unless you are a very generous trader.

Note 2: When you offer me a trade, message me that you have read my profile.

VAR collectors: I am taking the time to sort my traders for the minute VAR that are being listed on this site, i.e. "INC." / "INC", or the printing plae letter designators, or 1* / 2**. I assure you that if you are seekign these VAR in trade, I will send you the one you want as I check each card that is listed as a VAR to make sure I have the one asked for. So far, I have these sets sorted:

1988-1992 Donruss

1992 Leaf and Leaf Black Gold

1991 & 1992 Stadium Club

1990 Topps Traded

1992 Fleer

Collect:  Baseball - sets, stars, HoF, and some Non-Sports

My priorities are the sets in the two lists I have on my profile. My next priorities are as follows:

1. OPC Baseball all years from 1965-1994; (base set cards missing 592 as of 10 Oct 2021)

2. 1993 & 1994 Ted Williams sets including inserts; (82 cards missing all inclusive)

3. Leaf Studio base sets all years from 1991-1998 - I also am looking for parallels and inserts but priority is to complete the base sets; (126 base set cards) and

4. All food issues such as cereal brands (especially Post & Kelloggs), fast food sets, etc (e.g. Bazooka, Drake's).

Enhance the chances of a trade proposal being accepted by me by offering many of the cards that are on my two lists.  These are sets that I have 5 or less cards missing to complete or sets where I am getting close, i.e. less than 25% of the cards needed AND less than 100 cards.

If you have sufficient cards from my want list to propose a FAIR TRADE, please go ahead and propose a trade or message me asking about the possibility of a trade.  This does not have to be an item by item list as that is what the trade manager is for, but it will allow me to look at what you might have for me and allow me to consider if a trade is a likely possibility.  I will get back to you as soon as I am able to.

Some advice: when you are pulling the cards for a trade, check for possible VAR and make sure the card you are pulling is from the right set, base or parallel. Once you believe you have all the cards pulled, put them in the order that they are listed in the transaction; this way you will quickly realize if you  missed one (happens to everyone even in small trades). Doing a final count of the number of cards is also a good way to verify you have all the cards pulled. When packaging the cards, unless there are oversized cards, try to keep them in the same order as the transaction manager.  This makes it easier for the recipient to check the cards in the transaction when he receives them.

I am always willing to trade PWE size trades but make it worth the postage, i.e. 12-18 cards unless it is for older and higher priced cards. I always prefer the larger trades, as many as will fill an 800-ct box if possible, as postage is economized even more. The economy of postage is even better when you are over 1,000 cards so I encourage you to think big. The worst "economy for postage" are the mid-range trades of 50-150 cards. I still accept them but cringe at the cost of cards that are worth less than the postage.

Trading:  As of Dec 31, 2020, I have sent out 36,001 cards in trades and received 31,913 in return.  This is combined totals of my two ID - sandyrusty & sandy's singles.

Hey, I apologize if i dont respond to your trade requests promptly.  Since the pandemic started, I am in the process of reorganizing my collection to make it easier to find cards for trade, however I try not to mix multiple boxes out of storage at a time.  I'm trying to look at trades but do not want to accept until I know I have the cards in hand.  If the trade is a few days old, I will reach out if the trade is still on the table before accepting.

Canada and overseas traders.  i'm up to trade, but as you know customs costs are rediculous for baseball cards.  I'm willing to do PWE sized trades only.

**NOT TRADING CURRENTLY*** any open trades will be addressed but no new trades until further notice.

****ANTICIPATING A FULL RETURN TO OPEN TRADING BY JANUARY 1, 2022 ****

***RECONCILING COLLECTION AND SALE/TRADE LIST, AND UPDATING WANTS***

**EMAIL ME IF YOU WISH TO TRADE AS I DO TAKE AN OCCASIONAL INTERMITTENT BREAK FROM REORGANIZING**

*Consider my baseball and hockey vintage traders on a Bell Curve with the majority at Vg. I'M WORKING TOWARD LOGGING ALL VINTAGE WITH ISSUES, SO IF THEY'RE ALREADY GRADED, THEN THERE'S SOMETHING SIGNIFICANT ENOUGH TO BE IDENTIFIED AS SUCH. Since it's a work in progress, scans will always be provided on questionable ones based on your condition demands.*

My priorities are these and they must be part of an offer for me to consider in trades involving less than 18-cards each way:

  • Any vintage (pre-1980) want from any sport
  • Any wax box cards
  • Any food issues
  • Any vintage/modern "parallels" such as Deckle Edge, Scratch-Offs, Booklets, etc.
  • Any Collect-a-Books from the various sports
  • Any modern sets
    • 1999 Upper Deck Ovation (Baseball)
    • 2004 Topps Cracker Jack (Baseball)
    • New Age Performers series (Baseball)

My valuation method is simple and it is applied consistently 99% of the time, but I can be flexible on either end of a trade:

  • Era-for-Era, HOF-for-HOF, common-for-common
  • Vintage will rarely ever be valued less than ANY modern card
  • I DO NOT USE TCDB PRICING AS A FACTOR - (If you do, that's your prerogative, and I suggest you look elsewhere for a trade)

I communicate as much as needed as my goal is that both parties in a trade are satisfied. I will send scans of any vintage I offer upon request because I do not trust my "grading" skills.

My condition requirements are very flexible on vintage (any pre-1980) card. Here are my "standards":

  • Creases, single, multiple, frontal, or otherwise are okay
  • Corners rounded, dinged, bent are okay
  • Other wear like little nicks on edges, surface scratches, slight fades are okay
  • Defacements by marks or paper loss, especially on fronts are NOT okay
  • Severely off-centered to where a label is cutoff or another card is visible are NOT okay

I don't expect your condition requirements to match mine.

For the "Right" deal I will work on modern-for-vintage trades going either way and am willing to hash things out, but those are not very often.

Finally, to reiterate, if cards you're offering are not mentioned in the list above, then I need for a deal to be at least 18-cards going each way.

Due to retirement I'm on a limited income and keep a strict budget so I trade mainly using PWEs and if a larger trade can be done cheaper using multiple PWEs, then I'll go that route.

All in all I believe I'm a fair, honest, and flexible trader and am willing to work things out. I am never offended by a counter offer and hope that neither are you.

1968 Topps Baseball is primary goal 15 cards remaining.  Any vintage cards (Baseball pre 77 and Football Pre-79).  Any Sport Vintage HOFers.

I rarely wish to trade vintage cards for newer cards--like to stick with same eras in a trade.  However, if you see some of my newer cards and have vintage to offer--I would definitely take a look at that.

Vintage HOFer cards no matter what condition.  Looking to collect at least one card for every MLB HOF member.  Currently at 265/333 collected.

1974 set-almost done.  Missing mostly Washington VAR cards

1968-76 Topps--Need help in 69,70,71,72,73,75,76

PC: Nolan Ryan ,  Freddie Patek, Yordan Alvarez, Jose Altuve, Astros, Vintage HOF NFL

Love to trade!  I don't send out trades PWE but am fine with receiving them.  I trade by BV utilizing Beckett for baseball (I have a subscription) and TCDB prices for other sports (unless you have other sport subscriptions at Beckett).  Minimum BV of a trade for me to receive is $5.

****My mom passed away last week and it's been a rough few weeks leading up to it. I am behind on some trades but will get everything caught up as soon as I can.******

We are a husband and wife who collect cards together! Our collection is mostly baseball with a little football and basketball. We have a long ways to go to get my full collection up. We love trading cards and helping other collectors complete their sets or PCs. We are willing to listen for trades or purchases for anything in collection if the price or trade is right! The # of cards and era doesn't always have to match for it to make sense.

SHIPPING - We try to send out cards within 1-3 days of accepting a trade. Lately, we've been a little busier so I may be shipping mostly on weekends. I use PWE with lots of protection and sometimes use bubble mailers.

MAIN PC's

#1 - Jonathan India

#9 - Joey Votto

Ted Williams

Roberto Clemente

Ichiro

Ourside of those, we enjoy collecting many players..

Other Current Reds Players & Prospects such as Luis Castillo, Nick Castellanos, Tyler Stephenson, Hunter Greene, Shogo Akiyama, Amir Garrett, Jesse Winker, Austin Hendrick, Rece Hinds, Nick Lodolo, and so on!

MLB Rookies, Future MVPs, & Prospects such as Luis Robert, Bo Bichette, Jazz Chisolm, Andrew Vaughn, Yordan Alvarez, Eloy Jimenez, Vlad Guerrero Jr, Bryce Ball, Peyton Burdick, Triston Casas

    Other Sports/Colleges:

    • Tennis - Novak Djokovic & Serena Williams
    • Football - Dak Prescott, other Dallas Cowboys and Cincinnati Bengals
    • Colleges - Players that attended Clemson or Tennessee (hence the name TigerVol)

    TRADING, BUT SLOW...

If I make you a trade proposal, and you don't want to trade, or you need time, or cards I want are pending, it's okay...i can deal with it.  I'd appreciate some sort of response though!  TIA!  That being said...

Lotsa football just loaded..for trade or sale!!  I try to respond to proposals in a timely fashion and, at least acknowledge that the proposal was received.

2020 Heritage High Series Set (just SPs, thanks to belijr (John) for Lou Bob!!)

    Recent Phillies teamsets and inserts

    2000-2005 Topps Traded/Updates

I started collecting baseball cards as a kid in the mid to late-80s and collected them through the early 90s. I started out collecting them with my old man, and I look back on those days wistfully. We'd sit up at night and put together sets and lists of our missing cards and that was a great thing to share with him. At some point, though, I outgrew wanting to share that experience with him, choosing instead to share the hobby with my friends. Then I started to notice girls and found other things to spend money on. I boxed up all the cards and traded the innocence of collecting baseball cards for other, less wholesome pursuits.

At some point over the course of the next 2 and a half decades, I somehow outgrew the nomadic life, became an adult, got married, found a permanent place to live, and jumped on the wildest ride of my life: fatherhood. In a fit of cleaning out my old room to make space for her new grandkids (my sister's kids at the time), my mother transported all of the cards from my childhood bedroom and brought them to live with me. To the attic they went, and in the attic they stayed for the better part of the last decade, hidden away and silent.

While working from home during quarantine, I repurposed the attic into a makeshift office to hide from my two kids, who were also at home, and who, despite my and my wife's best efforts, have no conception of privacy or quiet, and care very little for anyone else's productivity--especially when it comes at the expense of their most immediate desire. Stuck in the attic, armed with a laptop, and facing long days of working in solitude, there sat my baseball cards staring back at me, summoning me from a place and time long since gone. In a moment of sports deprived weakness, I answered their call and opened up a couple of boxes to look at my old collection. Glorious!

Within days of our local economy's soft reopening, I found a local card shop, escaped my attic, drove to it, donned a mask, and walked in to buy some new cards. I quickly learned that the days of the $0.50 pack had passed me by--quite a while ago it seems. Undeterred by the effects of what seemed to be hyper-inflation in an economy I had ignored for some 27 years, I left with not one, but two BOXES of baseball cards. Upon opening up the many packs of new cards, I discovered the advent of the insert card's prevalence, and that, unlike unicorns, autographed cards actually DO exist in packs (helllooo Pete Alonso!). Fascinated, and in need of boxes in which to store the cards and toploaders in which to protect them, it was back to the card shop for me. A couple of carboard boxes, a few bags of penny sleeves and some toploaders just couldn't be the extent of my second excursion. So, much like an addict in search of a fix, it was another box of cards for me.

But, this new lifestyle of big spending on cards I knew nothing about would prove to be unsustainable as my wife and I are also tasked with feeding, clothing, and sheltering (in place) these two children we created. Alas, it was back to the attic for me, and back to shuffling through all of my old cards, sorting out the commons from the hall of famers, sorting out the steroid users from the clean players. Thus, a new collection was born. Hall of Famers. Those are the cards I want to collect.

But, I needed a mechanism for organizing what I had, and what I wanted to get. When I bought my last pack of cards as something other than a novelty back in 1993, the internet was not yet a thing, at least not one to which I had access. I thought: Surely there is some mechanism online to help me organize these cards, and give me reason to continue sorting through this mess. And, after minimal searching on the worldwide web, I discovered TCDB. What a brave new world this is.

I look forward to getting back into the hobby. But, for now, I am going to stick to trying to collect Hall of Famers, mostly vintage (which, I have learned, is now a word in this industry that describes me). I'm less concerned with a card's grading, centering, corners, or condition than I am with the name and face on it. I'm not in this as an investment; I'm in it for an escape. Hopefully when this little 2 year-old ages a few more years, he'll begin to enjoy collecting baseball cards as much as his old man did once upon a time. If so, I hope to bequeath to him a worthwhile collection and to share the experience with him for as long as he'll have me.

I live in Arizona now, but was raised and lived most of my adult life in the Chicagoland area, so I am a true blue Chicago sports fan!
After having taken many years away from card collecting, I've gotten back into it (finding TCDb was a huge perk!) and I'm finding my groove.
My collection focus is as follows:
    1. I will always take Gary Bennett cards. (#1 TCDb collector of Gary - I played baseball with him growing up. Fun to collect!)

    2. 2021 Topps Insert and parallel sets are my priority right this moment.
    - I'm working on:
    * Gold Parallel (/2021)
    * 52' Redux
    * 65' Redux
    * 52' Redux Chrome
    * 65' Redux Chrome
    * 86' Topps All Star 35th Anniversary Series 2
    * 86' Topps 35th Anniversary
    * 86' Topps 35th Anniversary Series 2
    * 86' Topps Silver Pack Promotion Series 1 and 2
    * 70 Years of Topps Baseball
    * 70 Years of Topps Baseball Series 2
    * 70th Anniversary
    * Stars in Service
    * Topps Double Headers
    * Through the Years

    3. Always looking for SP/SSP/SSSP variations from 2021 Topps Series 1 and Series 2

    4. Working on rounding out 86' Topps - I only like to trade within era's if at all possible.

I have a great deal of basketball, football, wrestling, NASCAR, Topps Hot Rods, and many other odd cards - including CAT Earth Movers - yes, as in Catapillar the Heavy Machinary company. I'm always looking to move other cards in trade for baseball.

I ship almost exclusively in PWE -
I'm meticulous in packaging (I use cereal box like material in every envelope w/ blue painters tape) and ensure the envelopes are marked as 'DO NOT BEND' - I've completed nearly 100 trades without 1 issue with my packaging.

Ideal trade size is about 6-18 cards.

Please take a look at my wantlists and let me know if you'd like to work a trade.

Temporally suspending trading to focus on my health. Sorry. Thank you to all that have traded with me! I hope to be back up to snuff soon.

I primarily collect KC Chiefs cards past and present. Even if it's not on my wantlist, if it's not already in my collection I may be interested.  There are so many parallel and variations out there I may not take the time to mark them all in my wantlist.  Everyone wants the chiefs right now. This is a new problem i never thought i would have.  I can promise you, if you trade me a chief it is going to a caring home. I am not trying to flip and make a buck. If I get a duplicate mahomes I give it to a brother to squirrel away for his kids. If i do get yet another dup of the same card it i make it available for trade.

Aside from the Chiefs I am also interested in cards of Barry Sanders, Ken Griffey Jr, KU Jayhawk basketball alum, and KC Royals. Maybe an occasional Dallas Cowboy if it'll round out a trade, 70's-90's and current.

I have a few sets in progress that I focus on periodically. Some of them are older sets from the undesirable 90's.

    GO CHIEFS!

Shipping: I am open to pwe trades or padded envelope. It often depends on the number of cards being traded and of course their value can play in to the decision. In any event, I'm open to discussion on a trade by trade basis.
