hoping to complete base sets for all Topps Baseball from 1970 to present. also collecting 2019 - present Archives and update.

Currently focusing on completely: 1973 base set, 2023 WBC, 2019, 2020 & 2022 archives - 2020 turkey Red. I have Heritage on wants but that is filler for me -

Value & tradng philosophy: honestly I don't put a lot of effort into card values. I feel the cards I trade in are pretty low end. I use the TCDB values as a general guide and I understand the difference between vintage, wax and modern. Commons - HOF and inserts so I make trade offers accordingly. At the end of the day there's cards we want and cards we want to trade so let's make a deal. I'm open to any trade across years, base to parallel, inserts whatever!

I would appreciate a response if a make an offer, please let me know issues with trade offers- let's work it out.

im mostly interested in set building, so if you want an insert or parallel not on my sale list don't hesitate to make an offer.

Prefer: PWE 18 cards  or less. Basically I don't like dealing with post office workers. I will consider all offers, even bigger ones. I will respond to all offers and correspondence quickly unless traveling. I try to turn off trades if away for more than a few days.

Im pretty easy to deal with, I love trading and will work with you with any concerns.

   And  Goooooo Tigers!!!!!

Current status,  legend: Year - % complete

1970-15% 1971-22% 1972-7%  1973-72% 1974 thru 1978 1979-41% 1980-88% 1981 thru 2023

Collecting all Topps Baseball base sets from 1956 to 2020.

If I have something on my For Sale/Trade list that you need and you have nothing to trade me, I am more than willing to sell most cards on my FS/T list at a very reasonable price...especially to fellow set collectors!

VAR's: If it's important to you to get a specific variation in a trade, please let me know so I can be sure I have the correct one for you.

I trade cards to build baseball, hockey and some miscellaneous sports / non-sport sets. I also PC Felipe Alou, Derek Aucoin, Steve Begin, Jennifer Botterill, Kevin Dineen, Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, Bob Kudelski, Manon RheaumeGabriela Sabatini and P.J. Stock as well. I do not buy cards. I also have a sweet spot for oddball / food issue / regional sets. New cards are regularly added to my FT/S list and all the cards I list here are NRMT or EX unless specified and I expect the same of you.

I don't collect micro-variations (dots, stars, copyright marks, holograms, printing plate codes...), they're not fun to search and I dislike the incessant frequency with which new ones are added. Seriously, what's the point if you gotta need to use a magnifier glass to check out if there's a dot on the back of a 1991 Fleer? However, I do all my best to check all my cards and to keep my lists up to date, but please ask me first, if micro-variations matter to you. The site really needs some way of opting out of micro-variations (just a default / any var. / unverified option for each card).

Besides helping to complete our collections one step closer each time, the opportunity would be nice to have traded with all the states, provinces and territories of North America. On this site only, I traded with members in 46 states, D.C., 9 provinces, N.W.T. and overseas. I can't wait to have a trade in Alaska, Delaware, North Dakota, Wyoming, Manitoba, Nunavut and Yukon. However, if you don't live in the above jurisdictions, you're still more than welcome to trade with me. No trade to Russia, Belarus and Iran.

I'm an easy going, helpful and patient guy, but here's now my turn to announce that my NO TRADE LIST is growing due to an increased lack of civility on the forums and the full site. If (1) you nitpick and/or always have an opinion on anything and/or act like you own the site and you're not Admin or (2) you do not respond to counters or decline without expressing a reason or don't PM me to ask more time after several days of wait or (3) you send me ridiculous off-balanced offers or (4) you accept the trade and you can't mail your cards in a timely manner or you send me loose or severly damaged cards or (5) have a brand new (empty) account without info / feedback and ask for valuable cards or (6) you clearly didn't read my profile (ask first, at least) and ask me to buy your cards, then chances are that you just won a place on my NO TRADE LIST regardless of how much I may want what you have.

I am fine with shipping cards in single or multiple PWEs, if the cards are properly packaged. Also, I don't mind large or small transactions, but I currently prefer trades with 10 to 20 cards going each way or at least that the cards carry more value than the postage. I am working 12 hour shifts, but I always try to ship the same or the next business day. Just remember that Canada Post doesn't pick up or deliver on Saturday and Sunday.

International shipping is very easy, but it costs more for BOTH traders (not just from the U.S.). Here are some tips to save on shipping costs to Canada: use PWEs (Plain White Envelopes) and avoid bubble envelopes, plastic boxes and big stacks of cards. Ship as flat as you can (cut 9 pocket pages in 3 rows and insert 4-5 cards in each pocket). The more it looks like a greeting card or documents mailed in a regular letter instead of a package, the more it tends to be cheaper to ship. Current U.S. to Canada first class postage rate (up to 2 oz) is $1.40 and if non-machinable, $1.79. If you don't have Global Forever stamps handy, three regular Forever stamps work as well. There's also no need to pay $14.85 for shipping with international tracking, because it is just too expensive, it will be way slower to arrive and Canada Post won't track your postal item anyway. Overall, postal service tends to be slower in Canada and at times a bit harder to predict, but it is as reliable as in the U. S.. Lastly, no cross-border shipping by Fedex or UPS: they charge $40.00+ custom brokerage on each and every package they handle no matter if it is duty free or not.

A.S.

Mainly Texas A&M Football past and present. Do have some other Sports Aggies but not alot.  Also Kenneth Davis because he was from my hometown.

Trading has been great.  I see the same issues as others:  lack of response to trade requests being the most frustrating. Love getting these cards through trade.  I buy cards, as well, from retail businesses but the trade is fun.    Open to offers and willing to pay and accept payments for cards if it works out best.  PWE is fine.  Always fine tuning the collection and occasionally have to change the wantlist because of all of these variations that maybe I haven't updated yet.  My wantlist grows faster than my have list.  Thanks

Aggies I have the most cards of :

            Mike Evans 1193 = 13.8% sheesh

Ryan Tannehill 540 = 6.6% haven't really gone all out on him yet

Von Miller 452 = 6.8% same as Tannehill

Greg Hill 340 = 74.4 % used to be more before all of the variation

Quentin Coryatt 329 = 84.1% same as Hill

Aaron Glenn 295 = 72.1 % same as Hill and Coryatt

I'm the #1 collector of most of the Texas A&M Aggies. There a few that I am not and I will try to rectify that when I have the opportunity.

I love this site for the database and the opportunity to contribute and acquire cards.

This site has been amazing in helping me rekindle my love for trading cards. I prefer baseball but do have some moderate interest in basketball and football.  I love to trade! If I send an offer and it's not quite right feel free to counter.

I do PC a few players but am mostly focused on building sets right now.  I'm currently working on:
2022 Bowman Chrome Prospects: 74%
1978 Topps: 89%
2002 Upper Deck: 40%
1997 Fleer: 30%
2002 Donruss Originals 85%

Players I PC are:

  • Carlos Baerga - currently #1 on the site. Trying to get one of all of his cards
  • Chipper Jones - my favorite player
  • Jose Canseco - my first favorite player
  • Rickey Henderson
  • Tim Hudson

I ship most things PWE though bigger trades will go in a BMWT.

I am relatively new to TCDB but have been part of the baseball card blogging community for well over a decade. I have over 100,000 cards to trade. Also if you collect matchbooks/matchcovers, stamps, or bottle caps (including MLB/NFL caps from the 60s) I have some of those to trade, especially the matchbooks which I also collect.

PLEASE NOTE: While my modern cards are almost all mint/near-mint, the condition of my vintage cards vary greatly. Some are in quite good shape for their age; many more are in good/fair/poor condition.

ALSO NOTE: For the time being I will usually only be mailing out all packages, including PWEs, once a week, on Saturdays.

For my TCDB wantlists, first priority is my vintage Topps setbuilds. Second priority is the modern cards that I have on there. Lowest priority is the 2017-present Topps setbuilds. I do collect everything baseball, so even if you don't have cards that are on my TCDB wantlists, you will probably have plenty to trade that I would be interested in, so I'm happy to browse through your tradelist if you see cards on my tradelist that you would like to trade for.

Lifelong Twins and Killebrew fan.

I started collecting as a kid in 1971. Walking up to the milk store about 10 blocks away, plopping down my 10 cents for a wax pack and 5 cents for a bubs Daddy. First card I remember seeing in a wax pack was Tom Tiimmerman - still have the card in my collection.

I really got hooked in 1972 when I saw a rack pack with the Roberto Clemente in Target. In 1975 My aunt bought my brother and me a complete set of Topps cards which took what seemed forever to arrive. I got the Dodgers cards, my brother got the Reds cards (we had to hate something about each other) and I think we divided up the rest.

Started collecting for complete sets in 1976-1979. Stopped in 1980 cuz it wasn't cool as a HS Senior.

Then back chasing the complete set dragon in 1981 and enjoyed the dawn of the junk wax era. Limiting my PC to 1980 and older. No new stuff.

Completed sets: 1968-1987

Listing a lot of my 1960s and 70s dupes on my eBay page to fund my quest for 1954-67 set builds.

Trading: I try to propose or trade similar value cards, PWE if it works.

if conditions aren’t listed, assume my cards are VG, VGEX or EX.

Looking to obtain VG-EX cards for my sets, with no major creases, paper loss or marks on the front. O/C is fine.

I have tons of mid to late 70s cards I haven’t listed here so if you need them, let me know.

looking forward to doing some trades toward completing my sets!

Ramping up baseball collections, still collecting football as well.  Also looking to finish off some older wrestling collections as I find them.

Currently looking to finish off collections more than anything else.  Also will start a new collection on a whim.  As you can guess, this is a dangerous combination.  Also seeking out certain Ohio State alumni, will expand to my own alma mater (University of Toledo) once more of my collections are set up.

Open trader--ask away, and I'll probably be glad to work with you.

Back at full strength, inquire at will.

I have over 25,000 cards for trade (baseball, football, basketball and hockey)- Brooklyn Dodgers are my preference to trade for,  primarily from 1950-1958.  (UPDATED 1/7/2021-COMPLETED 1955 BOWMAN'S & 1958 Topp's)   (UPDATED 12/29/2022 COMPLETED 1954 BOWMAN & 1954 TOPPS). If not Dodgers, other cards from the 50's and 60's to fill sets.  In addition to the Dodgers I am a lifelong New York Ranger fan and am trying to slowly build that collection on the hockey side.

I will be checking for matches daily and hope to be sending fair offers regularly.  But always happy to get offers from members.  I encourage you to counter any of my deals you feel are not gonna work for you.  Just declining my offers without any comment or trade revision doesn't really help me submit better trades.  The more I know about your wants or needs, the better chance I have of getting a good offer out to you.

Not a real stickler on card condition for the most part, happy for anything VG (3) or better feeling I can always upgrade in the future.  In the meantime as I am updating my collection, please feel free to ask me if I have what you are looking for.

Rely on Beckett for pricing information to do my best to make trades as equitable as possible, with the understanding that most, if not all of us, are not card graders by profession and allowing for small variances in condition claims.

***TO MY CANADIEN TRADING PARTNERS/FRIENDS LETS STICK TO PWE DEALS SO WE WILL NOT HAVE TO BE HASSLED WITH CUSTOMS FORMS, ETC.  THANKS FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING.***

Quite happy with PWEs.  Please avoid scotch tape on anything.

I come and go with the seasons in the hobby.  If my status is set to not accept trades it's because I tend to get burned out from time to time.  Don't be shy though, please feel free to message me especially if it's that last card you might need to complete a set!

I've been a baseball collector since the late 80's and love to trade.  I am primarily a set collector and belong to several online trading clubs.  My never ending goal is to collect all the regular issued Topps cards from 1952 to present.

My main collecting interests are vintage cards,  Minnesota Twins,  a few newer sets and Bert Blyleven.

Vintage sets:  1952 Topps, 1953 Topps, 1954 Bowman, 1954 Topps,  1955 Topps,  1956 Topps,  1957 Topps,  1963 Topps,  1967 Topps

Newer sets: 2004 Donruss,  2005 Donruss,  2012 Cooperstown.

* I prefer not to trade vintage cards (below 1976) for newer cards.

* Before delivering or accepting a proposal please make sure you have all of the cards.

Mainly Barry Sanders cards I don't have…However, I’m also interested in RCs of minor/major stars and HOFers from various years. (Mostly football, but some other sports as well)
I'll also collect "randomness" that might spark my interest at the time....

PLEASE FEEL FREE TO PROPOSE A TRADE......I know there's not too much on my want list, but I will usually find something off a FS/T list, so I'm pretty certain we can work out a deal.

As far as condition goes: My modern cards are in NM/MT or better, (pack pulled condition), and if there is an issue with the card, it will be specified....NO SURPRISES. Obviously, the older the card, the condition will vary and be specified as well.

All baseball cards to build sets.  I'm not into buying multiple players as investors and discourage trades with people who want multiple cards of superstars or rookies. I will gladly trade one of each but not multiples of the same card,  If you request multiples and I overlook the multiple quantity when I Accept your Offer, I will only send one card but will notify you via message of that fact.

I have complete sets starting with the '51 Topps Red Backs, '52s except the last series, then '53 through current "base sets" except for a few dozen total.  I'm trying to fill in those few by trading, so if you have something I don't, please suggest a trade.

Again, If you're an investor looking for superstars and rookies, please look elsewhere for trades as I prefer to save those cards to serious collectors who need those cards to complete their sets.

I have football, basketball, hockey, soccer and other cards to trade and am working on getting them all loaded into this database.  Feel free to message me with your wants even if you don't see them listed.

I also have some complete sets (hand-collated) available for sale:  Please make offer on each.

****** FRIENDS AND FELLOW TRADERS*****

****04/14/2024*********

I know this is a trading card site but I came across several volumes of stamps in a collectors hoard I purchased and thought I would see if there would be any  interest in them, either trading a few baseball card commons or just finding a new home for stamps!  First up:

1997 Guinea set of 5 plus commemorative sheet - golden retrievers, etc. - used.

1993 Sao Tome and Principe #1489-1496 Atlanta Olympics - used

*****07/07/2023********

Been receiving a few sale offers - I sincerely  appreciate the reach outs but I am overwhelmingly primarily a trader.  I  might make a purchase if I am very close to completing a set and have been unsuccessful in trading for that card  or few cards but most of the time I am not interested in purchasing.  Thanks my  friends!!

******09/27/2022*****

Thought I would take this opportunity to update this profile.  I want to weigh in once again on what a fun community this is!  I have now been a pretty active trader for a couple of 3 years and it has been everything I could want in a hobby.  In addition to  completing my 1977 T and 2006 T ( a set my sons and I started when it was new so brought back many memories of that time), I have completed a 1990 UD BB by trading alone, which was a blast and cleared out a lot of duplicates!  I am also close or even very close to completing other BB sets.  I am an old-fashioned flagship set builder, not all that concerned with inserts/chase cards or condition, and my experiences here have been invariably positive.  I am always on the lookout for BB cards of any age or condition (even if you're just trying to get rid of that shoebox of junk wax commons!!) and am always delighted to send along my extras to other member collectors.  Considering my collection had been boxed away for some 30+ years, it has been great fun to get back into the true trading card aspect of the hobby and this site and the friends I have made here are truly remarkable.

Always open to trading (large, small, PWE, whatever) and I'm happy to help with fellow set-builders, as so many here have been so kind to me.  Very willing to help; my extras are much more at home in your collection then in my duplicates box.  If see something you need/want in my to trade and don't have any matches from my wantlist, let me know and we'll figure out something.

4/13/24 TRYING TO GET BACK INTO TRADING AGAIN. MOVING SLOW, BUT MOVING.

2024 IS MY 56TH YEAR OF COLLECTING, AND MY 10TH YEAR ON TCDB.

TOP PRIORITIES:

1. 2024 TOPPS BASEBALL SERIES 1

2. 2024 TOPPS HERITAGE

3. 2023 TOPPS UPDATE

I PREFER TO TRADE WITH JUST USA TRADERS AT THIS TIME. I WORK ON TRADES AS RECIEVED, AND ATTEMPT TO CONTACT EACH POTENTIAL TRADER TO LET THEM KNOW WHAT PHASE THEIR TRADE IS IN.

SO, THANKS FOR YOUR PATIENCE, TRADING IS OPEN.

I GUESS I NEED TO ADD THE FOLLOWING DISCLAIMER....I HAVE SOME HOF CARDS, AND SOME CARDS FROM THE 60'S AND 70'S. I PREFER TO TRADE THOSE CARDS FOR SIMILAR TYPE NEEDS. I PROBABLY WILL NOT TRADE HOF OR OLDER CARDS FOR NEWER GYPSY QUEENS AND ARCHIVE OR HOCKEY CARDS. SO, IF I TURN DOWN YOUR TRADE, PLEASE DON'T TAKE IT PERSONALLY.I AM PASSING ON CANADA TRADES AT THIS TIME. IT COSTS TOO MUCH AND THE DELAYS IN RECIEVING THE ITEMS IS TOO LONG. SORRY, NOTHING PERSONAL.

Collect Henderson and Winfield; along with other HOFers. Also like to build base, subsets and team sets 1976-1989.

Mainly interested in 1976-1985 Topps Baseball sets / 1978-1983 Topps Football sets, / Basketball mid 70's - early 80's. Looking to also complete insert and subsets (League Leaders, etc.); Topps/Fleer Glossy All Star sets (84-90); Post cereal sets (1990-2002); and into the 7-11 Disc sets and other oddball stuff from mid-1970's - 1990 (Food issue sets, subsets, etc.). I would also like to complete 1991 Topps Archive (1953) & 2001 Topps Archive set.

Also looking to see how many 1987 Topps gum stain (on back) cards I can get - maybe compete a set although not sure all cards have gum stains.

CARD CONDITION: Looking for nice cards (sharp corners/nice centering; NrMt-Mint) for my collection and I will return the same. The majority of my cards on my For Sale/Trade list are NrMt or better (unless otherwise noted). Anything I have that is less than ExMt will be discussed before mailing.

Trading not top priority and may be more selective with trade offers. Condition is everything when trading.

May be willing to sell.

11/16/22   -  I have turned off trading while I decide what parts of my collection that I keep and what I'll liquidate. If you see something that you need, send me a message.

Team Collectors - I have 1000's of pocket schedules from MLB, NBA, and some NFL, NHL, MiLB & College that I no longer collect. Let me know if you are interested in them to either trade for or buy.

I started collecting autographs and Mets stuff in the early 70s.  After a few years away from the hobby I'm getting back into it, and getting my existing sets back up to speed.

METS COLLECTION

-I have a near complete run of signed Mets Topps cards (Topps main set) from 1962 to 2006. I have 1,335 of the possible 1,379 cards signed from those years

- I'm also working on getting an autograph of every Mets player. I have 987 of the 1,111 players in Mets history

- Individual signed balls from Mets players on the 1962, 1969, 1973, 1986, 2015 teams

- I'm currently 2nd on the David Wright collection list with over 1,000 cards.

- I also collect Mets Yearbooks Programs, Tickets, Pins, Bobble Heads and just about anything Mets

HALL OF FAME COLLECTION

- I collect individual signed balls, Gold HOF Plaques, B&W HOF Plaques, Dexter Press Color HOF Plaques, Perez Steele Postcards, TCMA Baseball Immortls, Donruss HOF Heroes, cards, 8x10s and index cards

- I'm trying to get 1 card of every HOFer but I can only use 1 card from any set. For example once I used a 52 Topps Monte Irvin, that set became off limits to me for any other player.

CURRENT SETS (Signed and unsigned)

- I try to get the all the cards signed in the sets that I collect.

- 1985 Topps set COMPLETELY SIGNED

- 2001-2010 Topps Hertitage

- 2004 Bowman Heritage & Topps Cracker Jack

I'm slowly adding sets, traders and wants to the site. If you need something from my trader list but don't have anything on my wantlist, please reach out to me.

I'd rather trade, but I'm willing to listen to buy and sell offers as well.

I get dozens of trade matches a week, where collectors have common cards from the junk wax era on their wantlist but have nothing for me. If that's you, I'm willing to sell these cards for the cost of postage and a few bucks for my time.

I'm happy to make a 1 for 1 PWE trade for any of the SPs that need.

Thanks for reading

Bob

I have lots of penny sleeves and toploaders I don't use. Happy to trade supplies for cards.

Also Strat-O-Matic cards - my for sale/trade list: https://forums.delphiforums.com/somgamer2/messages?msg=6246.1. Looking for Strat Fan magazine fringe players and pitchers' hitting cards for 1987, 1993, 1994, and 1995.

I collect cards.... lots and lots. Super set collector sums it up easiest.

I am new to TCDB but am long time Ebayer;. Top Rated Seller with 100% since 2007 (Store ID: alleystax) and can be found on Hobby Twitter most days. (@_AlleyAwesome).

I have more sets than I could ever page and am open to selling or trading most of it, but I will ONLY mark things for trade as I touch. So my irrationally large collection is being uploaded, trades will be added to the "available" as I touch it.

I collect:

Topps baseball sets from 1978 to now.

Topps ARC- all years

Dodgers team sets, all years, Topps complete and other makes as they fill.

Donruss Puzzles, Diamond Kings and Sets from 1981 to 1993

Non Sports late 70s and early 80s sets. Stickers!

Vintage hockey and LA Kings pre 1987, when their colors were right :)

Football all years, but PC Lions, Broncos & Cowboys

A ton I am forgetting and slowly uploading. It'll get there.

UPDATE 12/6/2023: After a 6 month hiatus from TCDb (my last previous login was 6/5/23), I've finally logged in again.  Apologies to all those who proposed transactions or sent messages during my absence. I will be making some updates to my card inventory, and I'll be making some trades here and there.

------------------

PLEASE NOTE: My FS/FT may be a bit inaccurate due to a couple of transactions outside TCDb.  Please don't let that stop you from trying to work a deal though. I'll confirm that I have all of the involved cards before I accept a proposal. However, I do apologize in advance if I am unable to find a particular card that you're looking for from my list for a trade/purchase.

Let's make some trades!
------------------

Anything I have available in my FS/FT list is absolutely for sale.

------------------

About my collecting goals:

I am primarily focused on building vintage baseball sets. (If it's a vintage baseball card not on my want list, I might still be interested.  Just ask!)
Many modern cards on my wantlist, especially the Donruss puzzle pieces, Collect-A-Books, etc., are very low priority, but that doesn't mean that I'm not interested in trading for them.

Trade proposals:

I try to make fair and balanced trade proposals.  However, if I make one that seems imbalanced, please know that it wasn't intentional. I am always happy to review and consider counter-proposals. I am always looking for opportunities to "get to a 'yes'" when working through a potential trade. Some trade proposals just don't work out for one reason or another, and that's OK.

I will try to respond to all trade proposals in some form or fashion: a message, a counter-proposal, etc.  I respectfully request the same courtesy from other members.

I am happy to see if we can work something out, even if you don't have something from my wantlist. I'll often look at cards that are available on someone's FS/T list to see if there is anything I can use as "trade bait" in exchange for something on my FS/T list that a fellow collector has on their wantlist.

Card condition:

Conditions of cards, especially vintage, can vary. Regarding card condition, I generally don't like using the letter grading scale (e.g. Ex, VG, G, etc.) because those terms mean different things to different people. (Even the professional grading companies can't agree on what specific terms mean.)

I've tried to note my collection with any egregious condition issues (such as a marked checklist or very poor card condition), but sometimes I might have missed making specific notes here or there. If you are looking for specific condition of a card (especially vintage), please DESCRIBE what you are looking for such as "no creases/writing", "no marked checklists", or something similar.  It will help in trade conversations; I'm also more than willing to send photos of my cards. (If you have Twitter, that's an easy way I've found to swap photos and chat about a trade discussion. If you don't have Twitter, I will usually provide links to photos of the cards involved in a trade if requested; i usually use PostImages to share links to photos of cards involved in a trade.)

Regarding incoming vintage cards, I'm generally seeking to avoid cards with any major blemishes such as creasing, paper loss, writing, etc. Some corner/edge wear is generally OK as long as it's not too extensive.  Centering is generally not an issue unless the card is miscut. I will sometimes make condition exceptions on star cards that might make good placeholders.

For modern cards, I'm looking for NM/M condition.

When in doubt, exchanging photos is helpful. For easy photo sharing, I recommend using https://postimages.org/

    ---------------------------------------

    I also collect memorabilia from:

    • baseball (especially HOFers, current/former Dodgers, Giants, Yankees, and/or Angels)
    • football (SF 49ers)

I collect for fun, so none of my cards are professionally graded, but all of them are at least in very good (or better) condition. I'd also like to get cards in at least very good condition, so please let me know if any of the cards you're offering are not in good shape (bends or creases, severe corner wear, or major scratches), as I probably won't want them in my collection. Ask for details if interested in the condition of the cards I offer, I'll do my best to disclose any significant issues with the cards before accepting a trade.

I'm not an expert, I make trade offers in good faith, and try to reach equal value, so if my offer doesn't look good to you, let me know, I'm always happy to make a deal.

I'll send the cards via PWE unless we agree otherwise; Due to recent issues with USPS, I'm now choosing to take the envelopes directly to the post office to make sure they're processed properly, so it may take me 1 or 2 days to ship, and I can only ship on weekdays. I'll do my best to communicate when making a deal.

Sorry, the cards in "My Collection" are not for sale/trade.

Set builder currently working on mostly 50's and 60's and modern 2016' to present.

Have entered about 3/4 of my collection to trade (still will be entering more)

Now for what I expect in trade:

No trade is to small for me if it is in my wantlist, I want it.

Some sets I may be making a second or third or forth of keep that in mind when trading and if it isn't in my priority I probably don't want to trade high dollar hot rookie cards or numbered parallel for multiple common cards. A good rule of thumb is try to keep trades close to equal value and type and or years. I do want to say don't be discouraged it never hurts to ask but don't be upset if I don't want to make a trade. More you communicate and the more cards you have listed for me to look at will give me a better opportunity to counter so you can get the cards you want.

Putting specific cards only on your trade list that I want may get you the trade but if I don't have any options to counter because you haven't had the time or haven't bothered to enter other cards for me to look through on your trade list... You take the chance of the trade not going through.

Priority for me is:2016 Topps gold,2016 A&G minis both A&G back and Black Boarder,1952-64 and 66-67 Topps of of needs list.

When offering trades please check value and make of somewhat equal value.  I also only trade in the US.

We are a husband and wife who collect cards together! Our collection is mostly baseball with a little football and basketball. We have a long ways to go to get our full collection up. We love trading cards and helping other collectors complete their sets or PCs. We are willing to listen for trades or purchases for anything in collection if the price or trade is right! The # of cards and era doesn't always have to match for it to make sense.

SHIPPING - We try to send out cards within 1-3 days of accepting a trade. Lately, we've been a little busier so I may be shipping mostly on weekends. I use PWE with lots of protection and sometimes use bubble mailers.

    MAIN PC's

    #1 - Jonathan India

    #9 - Joey Votto

    Ted Williams

    Roberto Clemente

    Jackie Robinson

    Ichiro

Outside of those, we enjoy collecting many players..

Other Current Reds Players & Prospects such as Elly de la Cruz, Allan Cerda, Matt McClain, Jay Allen, Andrew Abbott, Luis Castillo, Tyler Stephenson, Hunter Greene, Austin Hendrick, Rece Hinds, Nick Lodolo, and so on!

MLB Rookies, Future MVPs, & Prospects such as Luis Robert, Fernando Tatis Jr, Juan Soto, Bo Bichette, Jazz Chisolm, Andrew Vaughn, Vlad Guerrero Jr, Bryce Ball, Peyton Burdick, Triston Casas, Cal Conley, & Brady House.

      Other Sports/Colleges:

      • Tennis - Novak Djokovic & Serena Williams
      • Football - Dak Prescott, other Dallas Cowboys and Cincinnati Bengals
      • Colleges - Players that attended Clemson or Tennessee (hence the name TigerVol)

Hey all!  My name is Kurt and I got back into the hobby in 2019 after being out of it for 25 years.  I enjoy set building and TTM's.  Wantlist and trade lists are always being updated.  Set's I am currently focusing on are listed below and of course I have too many going at one time.  I also PC Braves, Ripken JR, Dave Dravecky and Andrew McCutchen.  I am always looking for a good trade so make an offer. I have a lot more to trade than what is listed.  Updating that weekly. The only thing I limit is my vintage trades.  I try to keep it vintage for vintage (pre-1980).

      Important Trading Notes:

      • I ask that trades are kept within era.  For example, I will not trade 1957 Topps for 1990 Fleer.  No matter how many junk wax era cards are offered in return.
      • Condition of my cards: 1974 and older are mostly G-VG.  Some may have creasing, off-centered etc.  None have paper loss or tears.  1975 - 1985 are VG-EX.  Some early checklists may have marks.  1986 to current are mainly in EX-MT condition.  If you have a specific question about condition feel free to ask.
      • I will typically send cards via PWE unless the quantity is above 20 or so and then I will send BMWT.  If you wish a smaller trade to be sent BMWT, please adjust the trade accordingly.

**Important Note regarding my FS/T collection: I do TTM (Through The Mail) autographs so there are times I will pull cards from that collection to send out and may forget to update.  If you propose a trade and I don't have the card that may be the reason.

Currently focusing on the following sets:

      • 1957 Topps (345/407 - 84.8%)
      • 1973 Topps (396/660 - 60.0%)
      • 1983 Donruss (654/660 - 99.1%)
      • 1984 Fleer (654/660 - 99.1%)
      • 1985 Donruss (658/660 - 99.7%)
      • 1986 Donruss (560/660 - 84.8%)
      • 1986 Fleer (472/660 - 71.5%)
      • 1992 Score (889/893 - 99.6%)
      • 1993 Select (404/405 - 99.8%)
      • 2019 Topps Heritage (625/725 - 86.2%)
      • 2020 Topps Heritage (658/725 - 90.8%)
      • 2021 Topps Heritage (298/725 - 41.1%)
      • 2022 Topps Heritage (686/725 - 94.6%)
      • 2022 Topps Allen & Ginter (339/350 - 96.9%)
      • 2023 Topps Heritage (634/726 - 87.3%)

I started collecting baseball cards as a kid in the mid to late-80s and collected them through the early 90s. I started out collecting them with my old man, and I look back on those days wistfully. We'd sit up at night and put together sets and lists of our missing cards and that was a great thing to share with him. At some point, though, I outgrew wanting to share that experience with him, choosing instead to share the hobby with my friends. Then I started to notice girls and found other things to spend money on. I boxed up all the cards and traded the innocence of collecting baseball cards for other, less wholesome pursuits.

At some point over the course of the next 2 and a half decades, I somehow outgrew the nomadic life, became an adult, got married, found a permanent place to live, and jumped on the wildest ride of my life: fatherhood. In a fit of cleaning out my old room to make space for her new grandkids (my sister's kids at the time), my mother transported all of the cards from my childhood bedroom and brought them to live with me. To the attic they went, and in the attic they stayed for the better part of the last decade, hidden away and silent.

While working from home during quarantine, I repurposed the attic into a makeshift office to hide from my two kids, who were also at home, and who, despite my and my wife's best efforts, have no conception of privacy or quiet, and care very little for anyone else's productivity--especially when it comes at the expense of their most immediate desire. Stuck in the attic, armed with a laptop, and facing long days of working in solitude, there sat my baseball cards staring back at me, summoning me from a place and time long since gone. In a moment of sports deprived weakness, I answered their call and opened up a couple of boxes to look at my old collection. Glorious!

Within days of our local economy's soft reopening, I found a local card shop, escaped my attic, drove to it, donned a mask, and walked in to buy some new cards. I quickly learned that the days of the $0.50 pack had passed me by--quite a while ago it seems. Undeterred by the effects of what seemed to be hyper-inflation in an economy I had ignored for some 27 years, I left with not one, but two BOXES of baseball cards. Upon opening up the many packs of new cards, I discovered the advent of the insert card's prevalence, and that, unlike unicorns, autographed cards actually DO exist in packs (helllooo Pete Alonso!). Fascinated, and in need of boxes in which to store the cards and toploaders in which to protect them, it was back to the card shop for me. A couple of carboard boxes, a few bags of penny sleeves and some toploaders just couldn't be the extent of my second excursion. So, much like an addict in search of a fix, it was another box of cards for me.

But, this new lifestyle of big spending on cards I knew nothing about would prove to be unsustainable as my wife and I are also tasked with feeding, clothing, and sheltering (in place) these two children we created. Alas, it was back to the attic for me, and back to shuffling through all of my old cards, sorting out the commons from the hall of famers, sorting out the steroid users from the clean players. Thus, a new collection was born. Hall of Famers. Those are the cards I want to collect.

But, I needed a mechanism for organizing what I had, and what I wanted to get. When I bought my last pack of cards as something other than a novelty back in 1993, the internet was not yet a thing, at least not one to which I had access. I thought: Surely there is some mechanism online to help me organize these cards, and give me reason to continue sorting through this mess. And, after minimal searching on the worldwide web, I discovered TCDB. What a brave new world this is.

I look forward to getting back into the hobby. But, for now, I am going to stick to trying to collect Hall of Famers, mostly vintage (which, I have learned, is now a word in this industry that describes me). I'm less concerned with a card's grading, centering, corners, or condition than I am with the name and face on it. I'm not in this as an investment; I'm in it for an escape. Hopefully when this little 2 year-old ages a few more years, he'll begin to enjoy collecting baseball cards as much as his old man did once upon a time. If so, I hope to bequeath to him a worthwhile collection and to share the experience with him for as long as he'll have me.
