I get the crappy autographsby Jgamble - 103 cards (Last updated on Nov 15, 2022) |
41. 2014 Leaf Perfect Game - Autographs Black #A-AP1 Andy Pagnozzi
36th round (1067) pick by the Rockies in the 2015 draft. Still in college at Pittsburg State. He has the fine distinction of being dismissed from Ole Miss for violating team rules. May be related to his DUI. I hope he comes back and changes his life around.
|
42. 2014 Leaf Perfect Game - Autographs Blue #A-JC2 John Creel
Went to Wake Tech, which no one's ever heard of. I guess he's on the roster at NC State, but there's no info there.
|
43. 2014 Panini Classics - Significant Signatures Gold #93 Jon Singleton
8th round (257) pick by the Phillies in the 2009 draft. He last suited up for Houston in 2015, so he's basically done now. I guess he'll go put his career into the shredder with the Skeeters or some other Indie team.
|
44. 2014 Panini Prizm - Rookie Autographs Prizms #TM Tommy Medica
I can't blame this guy. I was just made aware of the Padres' existence like three weeks ago. Tony Gwynn even played for them.
|
45. 2014 Topps Chrome - Rookie Autographs #24 Josmil Pinto
Undrafted amateur Free agent signed by the Twins in 2006. Last suited up for the Brewers in 2016 before flaming out. Not sure if he's still trying to play. Whereabouts unknown.
|
46. 2015 Leaf Perfect Game National Showcase - Base Autograph - Blue #PG-MV1 Mitchell Verburg
Still playing at Oregon State, but there's no buzz around this kid. Probably a nobody. At least it's a SN 30.
|
47. 2015 Leaf Perfect Game National Showcase - Base Autograph - Blue #PG-NS1 Nick Silber
Another middling reliever still in college at Rice. Meh. This is getting tiresome.
|
48. 2015 Leaf Ultimate #BA-TJ1 Tyler Jay
1st round (6) pick by the Twins in the 2015 draft. Our next nobody may be kept from becoming somebody by injury. He's up to AA though.
|
49. 2015 Panini Contenders - College Ticket Autographs #28 Brett Lilek
2nd round (50) pick by the Marlins in the 2015 draft. I guess the Fish are actually excited about this guy so they can offload him when he's decent.
|
50. 2015 Panini Contenders - College Ticket Autographs #34 Jeff Degano
2nd round (57) pick by the Yankees in the 2015 draft. He was released by Staten Island so he's probably done.

#4, Brett Cardonna. Here's some more info on him: https://twitter.com/brettcaradonna?lang=en
Steve Hammond must have been listening to a Conway Twitty record when he signed his name. Best list I've read in a while. I almost want to buy some cheap scrub autos and mail them to you, just to read your evaluations .
@switzr1 I'd take them. That would be fun. @C2Cigars That's cool for him! Glad he's teaching.
‘Auto looks like a Ross Perot self portriat’ I did literally laugh out loud, and my wife looked at me and rolled her eyes 😆
Dude, I think Eddie Rosario read your preseason comments and decided to play himself off your list. Currently leading the American League in home runs, as of May 10. And it's all because of you!!
This list made me laugh more than a few times. :D
Hahaha .. I like this list... The part I like most is the last portion of each comment where it says "Auto looks like .... " ... Some of those are funny.
Fun list. In all seriousness, I'd be interested in any of the Houston ones, if you've still got them. I can send you some more flameouts for the list if you like.

hey, dont throw shade at the Vanimal!
Yes, that vrooomed's autograph is absolutely terrible. Even a drunk chicken with a pen in it's claw could do a better job! Even the military wouldn't draft that asthmatic candy-[ahem]. So, no, he was never drafted. Drafty, many times.
#49 in your list reminded me of an AUTO I once pulled from one of those $5 dollar Walgreens 100-card packs of random cards that guarantees a "hit" (an AUTO) in 1 out of every 4 packs. I pulled a bumb who was a former prospect of the Angels named Chevy Clarke. His Auto looks sort of like an inverted bow and arrow. The Auto I pulled was this one from 2010 Donruss Elite Extra Edition, what a bumb: https://www.ebay.com/itm/2010-Donruss-Elite-2-Card-Chevez-Chevy-Clarke-Auto-Autograph-Lot/143231950253?hash=item21594a1dad:g:l84AAOSwN3lcxeiB:sc:USPSFirstClass!72205!US!-1

Your style of humor in this list makes me laugh. You got jokes, Gambler!
" Not an autograph, but I am too stupid to figure out how to remove cards from lists " lmao
I got a Trey Beamon back in the 90's. Funny stuff.
| ||
I bet buying those crappy 100 card cheap boxes from BigLots or Walgreens really helped with adding to this list!
.
| ||
This is a good list The commentary absolutely makes it great
Gotta get back to some trading today, but reading through the first 10 was a riot. Will have to come back and read through the rest...too much fun!
Some of these got a chuckle out of me.. Orlando Cabrera was an Undrafted Free Agent in 1993.. I would have loved to get that Vidro.. Instead I get some random guy who never made it anywhere in Seattle or Laz Diaz... lol |
