not my first set but hands down my favorite, love the black border and am on an ongoing quest to put together a pristine set. Plus the card of my favorite player is iconic (Munson) Rating: 10
First sets I opened and purchased. I remember counting out pennies to buy these. I thought I remembered them being 10 cents for a pack of ten.
The black border, while difficult to find without marring, is an exceptional pleasing design along with the bold team name along the top. The facsimile autograph is a bonus. It's one of my favorite sets, so much that I have a duplicate of the Pirates team set. Rating: 9.5
