Steelers are my main focus. Pirates & Penguins will always have one or two team sets in the works as well.

Any Rocky Bleier not already in pc, happy to trade heavy for.

Grew up in Three Rivers Stadium. Collecting is about the memories for me.

Always happy to trade no matter if it's big or small. Same town or different continent, all good. A great way to help one another.

Steelers team set completion help of any year.

Pirates 1971 to 1991. Few modern team sets

Pens 1976 to 1993. Few modern team sets

Want list is being trimmed down slowly. Listing more.. most from small box sets & pack rips, conditions will be very sharp.

Happy to trade heavy if you close out a Steelers team set.

1989 Pro Set FB has a handful of VARs missing. Willing to purchase or trade heavily to complete.

Small sets & packs for trade:

**packs & box sets need sorting, will have list up soon.
~ Retail boxes are always changing. Currently 88 Topps baseball Coins; 87 Bball Sportflics set; 90-91 OPC hockey wax; 90-91 Topps Hockey sealed set; 91-92 pro set French wax; 91 pro set platinum fb series 1 & 2 wax; 91 pacific fb.. few left of 99-00 upper deck McDonalds retro hockey & few blister hangar packs left of 08-09 upper deck series 2.

Please feel free to drop a line if any are of interest, happy to trade.

•Framed displays of favorite players & favorite cards + memorabilia have been made with my nephew, long distance from back home in Pittsburgh. Below is a link to photos of a few of the 60+ we've made & a 2nd link for where the nameplates came from. If not the best plates around for best prices, made by a good individual? No chance I'd have the links up. Anyone who may be interested, take a look & drop either Mike or myself a line. Why keep your pc tucked away when it can be easily mounted, safely, & to see daily. I hate promoting. Whole experience over the past couple years is simply worth it.

Thank you.

This site has been amazing in helping me rekindle my love for trading cards. I prefer baseball but do have some moderate interest in basketball and football.  I love to trade! If I send an offer and it's not quite right feel free to counter.

I do PC a few players but am mostly focused on building sets right now.  I'm currently working on:
2022 Bowman Chrome Prospects
1995 Leaf: 95%
2002 Upper Deck: 40%
1997 Fleer: 30%
2002 Donruss Originals 85%

Players I PC are:

  • Carlos Baerga - currently #1 on the site. Trying to get one of all of his cards
  • Chipper Jones - my favorite player
  • Jose Canseco - my first favorite player
  • Rickey Henderson
  • Tim Hudson

I ship most things PWE though bigger trades will go in a BMWT.

Still need to enter Starting Lineups.  I enjoy collecting autographs, tennis, basketball, football, Olympic sports, and baseball.  Non-sport cards in my "collection" could likely be available if there's something you're looking for.

Variation Opinion Section:

With 1987, 1989, 1990, & 1991 Donruss, I only want 1 copy of each card number (except checklists and Juan Gonzalez); I have recently tried to put the "for trade" ones in the right variation, but those are likely not 100% accurate.  Same for 1987 Topps Football, 1991 Topps Football, 1991 Bowman Football, 1992 Topps Kids, 1992 Stadium Club, 2006 Topps Total Football, 1992 Leaf (and Leaf Black Gold), 1992 Fleer, 1994 Topps, and most UD hologram backs.

With 1990 Topps Football, I would like both the disclaimer and non-disclaimer backs, so the variation is important and I have kept those "for trade" ones accurate.  1992 Donruss I just need the "factory set" numbering checklists so those variations are important.

With Brewers & Packers Police sets, I do not care which municipality the card is from, I just want 1 of each player.  I have not tried especially hard to put the "for trade" ones in the right variation, but if you'd like me to check specific ones, I'll do that.

Love to trade -  a few cards to hundred,    (really like 10-14 card PWE )

I love old cardboard -  Started as a kid collecting in 1974, buying and opening packs with my cousin ( who later in life gave me all his 74 and 75s.  It was all about finding any  Aaron cards  when ripping open a pack that year.                                                ((ORIOLES FAN, VIKINGS & PANTHERS FAN ))

Mainly Vintage Baseball - 1973 and older - (working on second 74-80 sets - looking EX or better for these )

         *******Priority finihing Topps 1966-1972, 70s Hostess, 70s Kellogg's, 69-71 Miltin Bradley- *****

                              ^^ collecting recent Heritage, Archives, A & G  as well ^^

   2021 Chrome 70th - 90%

  1972 Topps             85%                        1969 Topps         90%             1966 Topps         65%

 1970 Topps              88%                        1967 Topps         65%

1970-1979  Football - working on finishing sets - really close on most , done with 78.

   1979  Topps       75%                            1974   Topps        94%           ^ 1970 Topps      90%

        1978/79 Topps Basketball - 75%

DONT WANT to trade vintage or recent for JUNK ERA - 1983-2005 on want list for me

Looking for fair trades, I will trade Vintage for recent inserts, SPs if makes sense. Vintage values I go by recent sales based on condition. I wont "give away vintage for recent based on some low valuation. Its common sense, whats it gonna cost me to buy , both sides the trade.

     Thanks , Bob

Trying to complete Topps sets, basic set and traded/updated, from 1957 to present. Don't really look for mint cards in the sets before 1987. Also trying to collect one example of every card that Tom Seaver and Nolan Ryan have been on. I do my best to make the trades even on both sides. I keep adding more cards for trade as I go through my collection.

PLEASE NOTE ---- If your mailing address is in Canada, It will take a bit longer for it to get to you. I have to go directly to the post office and at times it is difficult to have something mailed to Canada.

1. Kirby Puckett PC - TCDB #8. He was my all-time favorite player to watch growing up, and there is no close second. Although he may not have ultimately been an ideal role model off the field, every aspect of the way he approached the game was exactly right.

1a. Major Release base set cards - I have over 90% of them, about 30 to go. The recent low-SN (high-$$$) Major Release sets are making this rather difficult (i.e. Flawless, Immaculate, N.T., etc.)

1b. Box Set cards, Inserts, Parallels, and Food Issues, especially those from during his playing career. I'm primarily focusing on non-SN and higher-SN cards (>/25).

2. Junk Era set building (1987-1994). I've finished about 20 sets, working on another 20 or so. I started with those that I'd worked on as a kid, or otherwise had special meaning, but have since expanded to other sets based on availability, interest, and price.

3. I'm trying to collect all of the Topps Twins flagship base cards, including Traded/Rookies/Update/etc. I've completed 1984-2006, now working on finishing the last 15 years before moving back to tackle the first 20.

4. 2021 Topps Gold Label - this is the first new set I'm building since getting back into collecting a couple of years ago. I bought into a few player breaks and decided I loved the design and checklist. For a high-end set, the vast majority of the players are relatively affordable and available. I just need to wait for some of the hyped rookie prices to come back to earth and then can hopefully complete all three Classes. I've finished Class 1, 2, & 3 base and Class 1 & 2 Black so far. I'm a little over two thirds through Class 3 Black and have about 35% of the the [non-1/1] colored parallels. I don't expect to collect one of each SN colored parallel, but would like to collect at least one SN card of each player in each Class - that would be 300 total. I have 309 so far, but still need about 75 more to accomplish my goal of one of each color and Class per player.

5. Misael Urbina PC - TCDB #1. This one is kind of a side-project, after I randomly acquired a few of his autograph cards in team breaks around Oct-Nov 2021, and subsequently decided to be 'Misael Urbina guy'. I've gone a bit nuts on eBay since then, and now have one of the most runaway TCDB #1 collections out there.

6. Joe Ryan PC - TCDB #3. I started this PC more recently, after acquiring quite a few new cards in a few 2022 Panini Chronicles team breaks - including a handful of autos and SN parallels.

I’ve been collecting cards for over 46 years and have over 427,000 unique cards in my main collection, including some nice vintage stuff.  I collect older cards of the four major sports but lately I've been expanding to some more recent sets.  I'm primarily a Set Builder and I’m looking for other like-minded set builders to trade with.   I’ve accumulated tons of extra cards that I would like to trade away with almost 250,000 cards in my current For Trade list.  Big trades don't bother me. I have a huge Want List, so hopefully you have something I need.  Feel free to make me an offer.

For Canadian Traders: It's expensive for me to trade across the border.  Going forward I would like to limit cross border trades to two (2) PWEs. That's about 54 standard-size cards.  Thanks.

For Anyone Outside US/Canada: The increased postal rates have made it impossible for me to trade outside North America cheaply.  So going forward I will have to decline trades from outside US/Canada.  Sorry about that.

Update on Donruss/Leaf * Variations and Upper Deck Holo Variations:
I can't guaranty the junk wax era Donruss/Leaf cards and the UD holo variations are listed with the correct variation.  Going forward I will no longer check the variations on these cards.  If you want these cards regardless of the variations, feel free to request them in the trade.  Howver, If you want a specific variation of these cards, I'm no longer your guy - please don't put them in the trade request.  For all other cards that have variations, I will contniue to check and make sure you get the correct one.

Note on Vintage Cards:
I have over 6,000 vintage cards listed for trade (I consider vintage to be 1977 or earlier).  For each card I've noted a condition grade and if you check closer, a note on each regarding any condition issues (be sure to select the correct one if multiple cards are shown).  Please note that I'm by no means a professional grader and if you're hyper-sensitive on card condition, please message me first and I'd be happy talk about it.  In exchange for these cards I have three priorities:

  • 1) similar vintage cards that I need (any sport)
  • 2) inserts for my 90s sets that I need (any sport)
  • 3) or non-junk era base cards that i need as a last resort (any sport)

Note on Card ConditionA card noted as Pr, Fr, Gd, or GdVg will have some obvious condition issues such as creasing, corner wear, or marks.  I would consider them place holders in a collection at best (I've listed them because some people do want place holders).  A VG card will usually be a clean card with some corner wear or a centering issue.  For me, VG would be the bare minimum for my personal collection.  EX will be nice sharp card and VgEx will be something just between VG and Ex, still a nice card with a small issue that prevents it from being EX.  NM in vintage is a tough find.

Shutting down trading for a little while. I need to catch up with a bunch of things, so I'm putting trading on the extreme back burner for a while. If, in this time, someone wants to do a Auto for Auto, or something of that nature, send me a message and I may bite, but no promises. Thanks, and I'll be back eventually!

White Sox. More specifically, Paul Konerko, Frank Thomas, and Mark Buehrle, but all White Sox in general.

I also woriking on collecting Allen & Ginter sets, a little at a time. I could be persuaded to trade off most A & G inserts for White Sox A & G inserts that I need. I have those listed in my collection, not For Sale/Trade, so If you are interested, take a look at the collection and send me a message.

Also, I am only Trading, not Buying or Selling. Things get messy with money. And, I don't want "Homework." Meaning, if you want to trade, send a trade. Please don't send me messages asking me to send you a trade. I am more than happy to counter if I think it isn't fair, etc. Thanks!

Please be patient with me, as I usually don't get to look at a trade proposal for a couple of days, at least. I'm not ignoring, I just don't live on my computer. I am always interested in trading, but family and work come first.

Please, when sending a proposal, Make sure that you have the card that you are offering. I understand that sometimes things get mis-checked, but I would never offer a card until I have verified that it is in my possession. All I ask is the same in return. Thanks!

Trading: PWE shipping, will use multiple envelopes if needed.

My collection is one that sparks joy to me. I have no rhythm or reason to it, each card brought joy to me and so it was added to the collection. My want list is cards that spark joy for me. My Want List is being re added to and will grow greatly over the next few weeks/months.

This hobby is my saving grace! I found it as a way to help my anxiety and the friendships I have made in this hobby are amazing! I truly appreciate everyone in this hobby!

I look forward to doing lots of trades here and getting these cards in your mailbox and collection where they belong!

One of my binder projects is a Topps Twins project and am mainly needing the vintage now, I am happy to add cards with character aka poor condition for the vintage cards. This project is to tell the story of the decades and what better way than to have character to the cards. That's for the vintage, I don't want 1990s cards that are rounded edges and ripped up.

My collection is valued at how much I'm smiling at the end of the day :)

I'm willing to trade but I don't have all my duplicates listed on this site. I'm slowly adding them.

I have over 12,000 cards in my eBay store and I'd be willing to trade any of those for cards on my wantlist or any White Sox cards I don't have. You can find a link to my ebay store below.  If you see anything that catches your eye send me a message.

I'm focusing on collecting White Sox.

I have a bunch of used toploaders I would be happy to sell/trade if anyone is wanting some.  Very affordable...I just need them gone!  Make an offer, help me cover shipping and I'm likely to accept!

Now the #1 collector of Ryan Klesko cards on TCDB!  With more to come!

PC: Ryan Klesko, Dale Murphy, Dave Winfield, Dominique Wilkins, Michael Conforto, Adley Rutschman, Nick Madrigal, Trevor Larnach, Cadyn Grenier, Drew Rasmussen, Gary Payton II, some rookie/early Bo Jackson, rookie/early/unique Eric Lindros, rookie/early Junior Seau. Looking for any Oregon State Univ alum in OSU or Team USA gear (AC Green, TJ Houshmandzadeh, Jacoby Ellsbury, Steven Jackson, Gary Payton, Nick Barnett, Matt Moore, Ochocinco/Chad Johnson, Sean Mannion, Johnny Hekker, Darwin Barney, Steven Kwan, Jake Luton, Jermar Jefferson, Hamilcar Rashed Jr, etc).

PLEASE SEND TRADE OFFERS.  It's my favorite part of the hobby.  Always willing to negotiate a good deal for both sides.  One card, or 10+ cards.  I'm fine with any size.  USA & Canada only, unless the card is significant enough to me to ship overseas.

I do NOT collect/keep any other cards of any other players/teams.  If the card isn't a unique card to me of one of my guys above, it's not something I will keep.  I don't want duplicates either.  I'll trade it or sell it if it's something I think I can move; otherwise, no thanks.  But I DO want any card of any of my PC guys if I don't already have it.  My trade/sell and want/wish lists are updated, so if it's not on those lists, it's highly unlikely that I'm interested in it, or I already own it.

Fan of: all OSU sports, Braves, Red Sox, Blazers, Chargers, Flyers, Timbers, Tottenham FC.

Goal for VINTAGE ONLY CARDS (condition NOT very important...just no rips/tears, no writing on the front...some creases ok): Hank Aaron (preferably in a Milwaukie uniform, but not required), Mickey Mantle pre-1969 (earlier the better), Babe Ruth any vintage year, Joe DiMaggio any year, Lou Gehrig any year, Ted Williams pre-1955, Jackie Robinson any year, Shoeless Joe any year, and Stan Musial pre-1960.  Prefer to stay as cheap as possible, but for the right card might go a little higher...obviously Mantle/Ruth/Joe D and those types would be more.  Again, condition I know won't be great at these prices.  I now have a Hank, Clemente, Bob Gibson, Ernie Banks, Sandy Koufax and a Willie Mays at these levels, and a couple of Ted Williams, that I'm very happy with.

  • I will typcially send cards via PWE unless the quantity is above 20 and then I will send BMWT.  If you wish a smaller trade to be sent BMWT, please adjust the trade accordingly.

TCDB rankings as of 11/6/22:

Dale Murphy (10th), Klesko (1st), Winfield (6th), Conforto (1st), Madrigal (1st), Rutschman (1st), Yovan (1st), Larnach (1st), Grenier (1st), Drew Rasmussen (1st), Kevin Abel (1st), Steven Kwan (27th), Darwin Barney (7th), D. Wilkins (3rd), S Jackson (76th), Gary Payton II (1st), Jacquizz Rodgers (5th), Hamilcar Rashed Jr (1st), Jake Luton (1st), Jermar Jefferson (1st).

VERY willing to trade/negotiate.  I live to trade...send me ALL trade requests!  Would prefer trades to purchases, although I know my PC is pretty limited in the grand scheme of things.  Just got back to the hobby in 2020 after approx 30 years out of it, and about 20 years after selling off 99% of it to pay for our wedding.  I forgot how much I loved it!

Looking for Yount and Molitor (81-92) for various (Topps, Fleer, Donruss, Upper Deck) Team Sets. Came into a lot of Brewers cards.

Currently interested in 1976-1982 Topps Baseball / 1982&1983 Football sets. Looking to also complete Topps/Fleer Glossy All Star insert sets (84-90); Post cereal sets (1990-2002); and recently into the 7-11 Disc. All other stuff is just for fun or oddball interest.

Hello: I joined this site in March 2021. I'm still putting my cards that I have into this website. I'm still organizing all my cards so it will take me some time to input them into this web site. I'm willing to make a trade if I need cards to complete a set.

The trades that I have done have gone very smoothly. The trades I've made so far have been PWE (Plain White Envelope) shipping.

I'm a set builder:

If you are a buyer check out my "For Sale Only Cards". All the cards in this collection are for sale. I'm still organizing my cards to put in this collection. The following complete sets are for sale:

1988 Donruss - Stan Musial Puzzle

1989 Donruss - Warren Spahn Puzzle

1992 Donruss - Rod Carew Puzzle

1991 Upper Deck - Baseball Heroes: Nolan Ryan

1991 Upper Deck - Team Logo Holograms

2007 Topps -All Stars

Down the road I'm looking to sell all my cards. At my age (late 60's) it's about the that time to sell all my cards. Hopefully there are people on this site that buys cards.

Have a great day.

I'm a set collector.  I'm working on completing all of the Topps Baseball sets from the 1970s.  I've completed the '70, '76, '77, '78, and '79 sets, and I'm really close on '73 and '74.  I'm at varying stages of completion for the others.  I'm also working on completing various sets from the 80s and 90s junk wax era - mostly baseball, but some football and basketball. I love trading!  I usually trade vintage for vintage and modern for modern, but I'm willing to consider anything reasonable.

Print code variations drive me crazy!  I know that some of you collect all of those variations, but I don't care about them.  Some of my cards are recorded with the correct variations, but others aren't.  If you care about the variations, I'm happy to verify that they are the ones you want - just let me know.

I've interacted with so many great people on this site, and I thank you all for that.  It's really fun to collect cards and to help you get the cards you want.

UPDATE 10/8/22:  Back to trading after a summer off.  Looking forward to helping others finish sets and fill their PC.

TRADERS: I am collecting VG/EX or better, and definitely no creases or writing.  PLEASE let me know if the cards you are providing as part of a trade are not VG/EX or better, and send me pictures if you have any questions.  I will provide same for you.

NOTE re my '71 Topps For Trade:  The following cards have pencil marks on the front and should be considered in Poor (PR) condition due to those marks : #9/G. Scott, 97/Wicker, 33/D. Unser, 40/L. May, 114/B. Conigliaro, 211/P. Hennigan, 252/Leon, 720/M. Alou  The writing is neat (must have been a precursor to my engineering career), not dark, and was done by me as a boy.  For example, the George Scott card has "Brewers" which was me writing his current team on the card.  I am willing to trade these (which if not for the marks would be at least VG/EX) and send pictures of front and back if needed.

Looking forward to some good trades!

I pretty much collect Hockey, and Basketball and non sport. I do have a large collection of over 250 000 cards that i am trying to get into the system here but as you are aware it takes a while to get them in. If you dont see anything in my collection just ask as i might have. I am looking to complete sets. I love trading as it keeps thewife off my ass about spending money on this but if i don't have a trade that you need but have cards i want please send me a price and i would be willing to look at it.

My Parkhurst, Tim Hortons, McDonalsds, Fleer (skybox, Flair) Pro Set, Donruss, Panini, OPC, Pinnacle, Topps Ultimate, in the game, Pacific,Leaf, Bowman and Classic and finally upper deck  and Score complete,  I also have a love for Star trek and would look at any deal on those cards. Now my hockey is done, i am going to add my 100 000 baseball and then my basketball. Please don't send me Deals on baseball, or basket ball as of yet until i get my collections in, i have many boxes to add, the ones in this system were what i had in binders.

Also my vinatage cards have been with me for years, if you very concerned over the condition of them please ask for my email and provide me with yours so i can send pics, my cards are in great shape for being with me over the years, no tears or folds but i would be happy to show you condidtion if your that serouis collector who wants mint.

thanking for looking and i hope we can make a trade.

I am a person with a fast turn around, in most cases if we have a deal today, the cards will be sent tomorrow. I expect the same from you as well. I also check to make sure we are trading dollar for dollar. I dont do card for card unless they are same value or enough cards make up the value. Please don't send one or two card trades, lets make the biggest deal possible, or least the deal should be more then postage, and please make sure you put the transaction number on the envelope or somewhere inside the package, so many people don't and if your like me who have many deals going at once it makes it very hard to figare out what deal it is with out the number.

Also i have been trading for a while now, and the 2 biggest problems i have is the amount of tape people use to wrap the cards, please try to use as little as possible, and second please put the trading id on something in the package. I have any where from 5 to 20 deals happing at all times, its sucks when you have to go through deal by deal to find the transaction. It would be so much easier if the transaction id was printed on something inside, thank you. (Also your name and trading name would be a bonus as well)

Wow just hit over 100 trade deals, crazy time flies when your having fun! looking forward to hitting the 200 or 250 deal. Will have to do somethign special for the 250th Deal!.

Collecting Baseball and Football cards.  Looking to complete sets from 70s Football (VgEx or better preferably), and any cards pre-1970.

Collecting Topps Baseball from oldest years - 1990, with exceptions in 2014 Topps and 2020 Topps Heritage.  Old cards should be VgEx or better.  Right now I'm prioritizing 65, 69, 71, 72, 2014, and 2020 Heritage.

When offering trades please check value and make of somewhat equal value.  I also only trade in the US.

I'm a collector, not an investor. I typically prefer dealing within eras, common-for-common, star-for-star, HOFer-for-HOFer, and will ALWAYS consider vintage (pre-1980) cards as being more valuable than modern (post-1980).

My available vintage in the various sports is mostly Fair to Good with stragglers along each side. Most are noted, many not, but if well-loved, well-worn are your type of vintage, then let's deal!

If TCDB or B****tt pricing is your preferred valuation, then please look elsewhere as we probably won't reach an agreement.

A strict minimum for trades is 18-cards each way, but will relent on that if ANY from my TOP 5 below are included.

I collect all baseball cards. I can do team sets of certain players, I have Yankees, Mets from 75-present, I also have team checklist from 1973-92, I have 1989,90 NFL pro set of New York Giants and New York Jets. I don't list all cards on my want list of trade list. If I don't have it on the list (want, trade) I can get it. I work at a baseball card shop.                                                                                                                                                                                           You can email me at Newyorkyankeesfan20009@yahoo.com. I rarely wish to trade vintage cards for newer cards--like to stick with same eras in a trade.  However, if you see some of my newer cards and have vintage to offer--I would definitely take a look at that.

Vintage HOFer cards no matter what condition.  Looking to collect at least one card for every MLB HOF member.  Currently at 265/333 collected.

I am first and foremost a set builder, though I'm always happy to get cards from my favorite players and teams.

I prefer to work on 1 or 2 large trades at a time, but will entertain smaller offers.

I do a pretty good job of keeping up with the VAR's, but I am sometimes behind on the most up-to-date ones.

Topps Baseball, Football, and Basketball Sets...Yankees, Braves, Red Sox (for my nephew who will inherit my Collection)...49ers and Steelers...Lakers...Hank Aaron, Cal Ripken Jr, Chipper Jones, Ken Griffey Jr., Nolan Ryan, Deion Sanders, and any Card of a Great Player Past or Present. Tennessee Vols Football, Texas Longhorns Football, and Kentucky Basketball. After all of the previously mentioned I really collect anything that peaks my interest. It is hard to nail it down.

I am a Buyer if you are a Seller. I love to Trade, but I am a Truck Driver and work a lot of hours. I also officiate Basketball and Baseball/Softball. I like a good deal, and if you are a Seller, looking to move Cards at a Good Price, then I would be open to a Proposal. I am talking about Cards from my Wantlist. Outside of my Wantlist, I would entertain any Topps Basketball and Football Lots, or any Topps Baseball Lots 1974 and earlier.

Any Wants for Baseball from 1974-1981 are to replace Cards already in full Sets for EX-MT. My Cards from those years are marked with Condition. The Cards not marked with a Condition from those years should have 4 Good Corners, no Creases, and no Wax or Ink Stains. Centering would need to be discussed, if that is a Condition you are looking for. The 3 that I mentioned are the ones I reference in my For Trade List.

I have opened my Wantlist for 1973 Topps and earlier. I am not concerned with Condition. I will trade my lesser listed condition Cards, pre 1980, for anything on those Wantlist. I have most Conditions listed on my pre 1980 Cards. I won't trade good condition Cards pre 1976 for lesser condition Cards. I will consider 1977 and above for any trade but would like to know condition of Card I am getting.

I am getting into entering Fleer and Donruss. I will be looking to complete 1990 and earlier. All years and brands after that will be up for trade. Football and Basketball will follow these same guidelines as I enter.

Trading is closed until after the new year.

My collecting priorities are

  1. New York Yankees
  2. Japanese MLB players

****Mailing from a US military address in Japan****

I will ship and receive USPS from a Fleet Post Office (FPO) at standard domestic USPS rates and procedures. Anything larger than a PWE coming my way will require a customs declaration to be completed by the sender at no additional cost. This process is largely automated and/or straighforward if you're using Click n Ship, Stamps.com, Pirateship etc.

Just about any Yankees card is a welcomed addition to my collection. I have not gone to the trouble of adding all parallels, SPs etc. to my wantlist yet but I would also like to trade for these. Especially interested in any mini- or over-sized cards, die-cuts, coins, stickers, booklets, posters, pins, memorabilia cards, manufactured patch cards, autographed cards, serial numbered cards, food issues and oddball cards.

My highest priority wants are cards that will finish off any Topps brand sets.

Please make reasonable trade offers. Offers of a bunch of 1990 base cards for modern inserts and stars will be rejected outright.

When trading for any cards from 1980 onwards I am only interested in EX-MT condition or better.

>99% of my listed cards are pack pulled as of my TCDb join date and are generally in "pack fresh" condition.

If you have specific mailing requirements or requests please let me know when proposing or before accepting a trade offer.

PC includes:

  • Topps Base Set card for all HOF players
  • Topps Base Set card for my personal projected HOF players
  • Topps Base complete set builds (currently 1977-present)
  • One of each Topps Cubs card ever produced - I've got a LONG way to go;-)

IN TRADES: I prefer to trade my dupes for cards I need from the same set or within a few years each way, but I do make trades all the time that violate that preference. Generally speaking, my cards are in pack fresh condition. I pack and ship carefully, and expect that we all do in this community. If a particular card of mine is NOT in pack fresh condition, I try very hard to note that with a condition indicator, and when possible, a note about what the defect(s) is(are). In these cases, comparable condition in return is of course acceptable. When making trades without those exceptions, I am looking for cards in the following conditions.

  • Pre 1975 - Probably would be ok with VG. Dinged corners acceptable, but not rips, tears, completely rounded corners, creases, or significant wax/gum stains. Centering no worse than 85/15.
  • 1975-1981 - OK with EX or better. No rounded corners, No creases, No gum/wax stains, no worse than 75/25 centering.
  • 1982-1991 - Has to be at least EX-MT. Centering 80/20 minimum.
  • 1992-present - Looking for NrMt or better.

I'm aware that we all judge our cards a bit differently, but I subscribe to the general notion that a card's "grade" should be based on the entire package, e.g. a 75/25 off center card could have scalpel sharp corners and great color, so might suffice as better than the off-center defect would hurt it. I own fewer than 10 slabbed/graded cards, so more interested in the card's aesthetic appeal than the grade it might receive.

Finally, trade value does not have to be even to the penny. I'd like to move my cards in which I am less interested into the hands of fellow collectors who would value tham more than I do, and I hope that those I trade with feel the same. As much as my heart wants Beckett to be the guide it was when I grew up in the early 80s, I tend to use sold comps from the prior 90 days on eBay where those comps exist to come up with value when necessary, but when trading commons, 1 for 1 generally works for me.

This is a hobby, and I am in it for the joy of collecting. It doesn't mean I wouldn't take some cash for a card that someone else will love more than I do, but "breaking even" is the ideal. When in doubt, shoot me a message and let's see what we can work out.

Please be aware: I am not currently BUYING cards. Still trading!

I am really getting into NON-SPORTS cards in a big way. Superhero, movies, old TV shows...just about any and all subjects. Don;t be shocked if I counteroffer any proposal to trade sports cards for non-sports. Trying to grow my non-sports collection while eliminating what little racing, hockey and basketball cards I have.

My trading philosophy...

I use the values listed in the database, not as absolute truths but more as a set of scales to weigh each side of a transaction.

Still trying to get my collection organized. To be honest, I still don't know what I have, what I want to collect and what I want to get rid of. This site has given me the push I needed to organize things. I am trading but not everything (maybe 70%) is recorded. I plan on trying to focus on just baseball, football and non-sports going forward. And to be honest, right now I'm trying to focus on non-sport. I'll trade baseball and football for non-sports.

Collecting: I'm mostly a set builder, focusing on baseball, football and non-sports (movies and superhero type cards).

- Always had a soft spot for holograms.

- Prefer smaller sets to the mega series of earlier days. 900 card sets? Meh...

- Just got back into modern set building and I'm really liking Topps Allen & Ginter sets, although the gazillion subsets and variations is confusing/annoying.

- Really don't have true "favorite players" or teams. Gravitate towards Red Sox and Patriots but I don't fixate on them anymore.

- upgraded my Mac to a new MacMini and need to re-install scanner drivers, etc. Have some cards missing in the DB and I'll spend a day or two scanning once it's up.

Back to sorting cards and updating my collection online...
