Not looking to buy or sell right now, but ready to trade. Here's what I'm most interested in these days:
- Vintage Topps:
- Top priority! 1972 Topps down to high numbers
- 1964 Topps and 1970 Topps sets chugging along
- 1976 Topps and 1977 Topps left to complete a 70s run
- Topps refractors from the early-mid aughts of past greats (TATFF, refractor reprints, etc)
- Player collections such as Dick Allen (#1), Nate Colbert (#1), Rod Beck, Bip Roberts, Mark Fidrych
- Current stars such as Juan Soto and Jackson Merrill
- Some other random wants logged here too.
Check out my blog Baseball Card Breakdown that I've run since 2013. I also do a 1991 MusiCards Blog where I get to ramble more about music n' stuff. Also worth noting that I occasionally make my own custom cards, often printing extras for trading and surprise bonus throw-ins. And I've been getting really into making CardArt in recent years-- essentially making homemade "parallels" of classic but cheap/plentiful cards from the days before parallels became as rampant as they are today-- and love to trade my stuff for cards on my wantlist. Examples in my profile pic and you can poke around my blog and eBay link for more.
I haven't logged that much of my collection/wants into TCDB yet, but I'm working on it. And I've got a big wantlist on my blog that I'd encourage potential trade partners check out in addition to the "trade matching" option here. Thanks!
Note: Please don't write "Do not bend" or similar on PWEs to me, as unfortunately there seems to be a postal worker prick in my local mail system who will maliciously bend such mail. I'm up to 3 instances in the past few months. Thankfully I haven't had anything like that happen to my outgoing mail. Also, I likely won't mention it if it happens with a trade, as I don't want to make the other guy feel obligated to "make it right" even when not their fault.
Also, I'm not a stickler for "book value", but hate when guys propose lopsided trades and then instantly decline a fair counterproposal. Check COMC or eBay to get an idea of market value if you need to. For instance, I've got several 2003 Topps Retired cards listed for trade, and as a high-end (for the time) set, even the base cards sell for a few bucks.
