I am running a poll on Twitter about checklist cards and if collectors like them or not.
If you have a moment (and are on Twitter), would you please vote in my poll?

Thank you!

I dont do Twitter so if you can add one i would say no not for modern day cards. But if they were vintage cards then yes. Checklist cards became unnecessary when they started producing Almanacs and online check lists. (Of course this is my opinion)

I don't do Twitter either but I'm of the same mind as T206 - yes on vintage, no on modern.

I'm not on social media either, but I'm not okay with checklists especially on vintage because I need one for my 1966 Philadelphia Football Set and I refuse to pay anywhere near what they're asking for it.

Only if they're a team type.

Or have a player on them.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

I understand why they were useful or even necessary back in the day, but I'm not a fan of them in any era. This is due to my slightly OCD collecting tendencies, if my team or a player on my team is featured on a checklist card I have to have it for my team collection, but ultimately I don't think it provides any value whatsoever.

I'm with Jerry. Love Vintage Dislike Modern. For me they need to have the checkbox otherwise it is just a card with some sort of list on it. When I was a kid I would mark up the checklists and go overboard, using thick magic marker or a very heavy mark with pencil or ink. For some of the non-sport sets if I had multiples of the checklist (some products like Wacky Packages you got a checklist in every pack because it doubled as a puzzle piece) I would make a want list, and when I was much younger just go at checking everything off becuase that is what under 5 year olds do with checklists.
Now when looking for vintage checklists I try to find unmarked copies. If I come across a marked copy I need it has to be somewhat neat or very few check marks. Double Standard Yes I know. Bad on Me.

I agree with everyone here. I don't see the point of modern checklist cards, except as an excuse to get some multi-player cards out there to squeeze more superstars onto cards. I'd rather them replace them with more individual players.
