My least favorite part of collecting is that current pricing shuts out kids getting into the hobby at a young age like back when I was a kid. Few kids can purchase cards with their allowance money any more these days.

Always looking to trade to fill my PC: Stacey Augmon, Deion Sanders, Manute Bol, Damon Buford, Marcus Dupree, Rocket Ismail, Tony Mandarich, Harold Miner, Johnnie Morton, Christian Okoye, Bob Scanlan, and others. Romans 8:28

Not having enough time to enjoy it. My worst day of sorting is better than my best day working!

Hi,
The worst part of it hasn't come yet, having nothing to do for an entire day, no sets or pictures to add on TCDB, no cards to sort out...
Just hope I'll never have a day like that...

Not being able to get packs because of high prices and stupid flippers getting to it and leaving nothing on the shelves. Over abundance of Yankee$ and Padre$ in every set.

For me, it's how expensive it is to collect a decent set the old fashioned way. For hockey, my main sport, if you buy two (very expensive) hobby boxes, you will be FAR short of a set, not only on the base, but also the short-printed rookies and team cards and whatever else they've decided to short print. As far as Upper Deck, forget it. You can buy a factory set of MVP, but that's lame and defeats the fun of putting a set together. I wish I could buy 2 boxes for a decent price and be no more than 30 cards from a completed 500ish card set, with a few nice inserts thrown in.

Flippers, too many parallels, packs being overpriced.
