I hate this so much! No communication is one of the most frustrating things about not just the hobby, but real life as well.

I will third it!

There are a few things that have been brought up in the thread that frustrate me, but people we do not have the basic decency to complete a conversation are probably the most annoying!

The most annoying/least favorite thing is not being able to collect cards. Having a 16-month-old and the price of everything going up, I am currently priced out of the market. I know I will be able to get back in the market after a while but it definitely sucks right now. ------------------------------- When life has you down buy a pack of cards and realize you overpaid.

Least favorite part of collecting and or trading is the long process of finding cards, shipping cards.. sometimes can take forever and I am pretty organized

The lack of bubble gum in packs. When I started collecting the gum was the bonus at the end, didn't matter who you pulled from the pack there was going to be a reward. is it light blue? is it teal? is it aqua? is it red? is it burgandy? is it maroon? where do i look to determine if it even is a colored one at times. just re-number the card already, shouldn't need to guess ------------------------------- 50 years collecting and counting 1974-????

My collection has always been self-sustaining. I used to be able to sell on ebay and parlay those funds into PC cards or a hobby box. Not so much these days, which brought me to this site. BUT....my biggest problem for me is the ever rising prices inflicted on us by the USPS to subsidize all the free shipping given to Amazon and such. Look for the next increase to pay for a new fleet of petrol fuel vehicles to replace the new electric fleet that will become a total disaster. My shipping costs are now covered by my winnings playing pool tournaments....after I buy flowers for my gal of course.

your #2 is also one of least favorite parts of collecting because it can make it difficult to identify what set a card is in jeffcayce wrote: 1. Cost of Supplies 2.
