If you thought you had finished collecting your favorite player, check this list ... he might be in the background of these cards.

For now, I'm going to omit "traditional" action cards to make the list more manageable in length.

51. 1971 Topps #59 Gene Mauch

It's a little fuzzy, but that sure looks like Bob Bailey (3), probably at Shea Stadium in 1970.

52. 1971 Topps #154 Cesar Gutierrez

Coach Grover Resinger (50) at Yankee Stadium in 1970.

53. 1971 Topps #162 Jack Billingham

Jim Beauchamp (44) in 1970, looks like Shea Stadium.

54. 1971 Topps #233 Larry Bowa

After much eye-balling, I think this is Johnny Briggs (12), probably at Shea Stadium in 1970. I don't think it is Larry Hisle.

55. 1971 Bazooka #NNO Bill Freehan

Gates Brown (26) at spring training.

56. 1972 Topps #43 Rick Wise

Probably spring training in 1971 ... Billy Wilson (37) and Jim Bunning (14) ... I have no clue regarding no. 54.

57. 1972 Topps #51 Harmon Killebrew

Paul Ratliff (8), assuming this is not a really old photo ... looks like spring training.

58. 1972 Topps #132 Joe Morgan

Johnny Edwards (7) in 1971.

59. 1972 Topps #139 Tim McCarver

Terry Harmon (17) in 1971 spring training.

60. 1972 Topps #161 Brock Davis

Cleo James (24) probably at Shea Stadium in 1970 or 1971.

Cool Concept! I don't know haw modern you want to get in the future (since this says 60s & 70s), but here's a couple off the top of my head:

These are action shots, but there are a lot of cool cards featuring an out at 2nd, so that could also be a concept. Just a couple ideas that you could take or leave.

I'm adding about five cards at a time, which is enough work for me ... add in action cards from the '70s and I'll be doing this forever ... a separate list of action-only cards from the 60's and '70s would be more manageable in scope if anyone wants to take a crack at it ... here's a Pete Rose I discovered recently:

1977 O-Pee-Chee #85 Bill Singer | Trading Card Database (tcdb.com) Tom Bruno

1977 O-Pee-Chee #103 Mike Willis | Trading Card Database (tcdb.com) I think that's Chuck Hartenstein, it looks like a 24.
