Just wanted to pass an update on Bob.
He's out of the hospital and is being treated for a severe case of kidney stones. He's got a couple of possible follow-up procedures forthcoming but he says he's fine and recovering well at home. He's still able to sort through cards.

He has also sorted these and is ready to trade. Quote "Anyway, I have 1977 and 1978 ready to trade: 1] 100 card low quality lots trading cheap , 2] Plenty of traders in my TRADE/SeLL Collection 3] A's Team Cards".
As he has sorted teh years, he has also updated his want lists in the same sets so if you are looking for 1970-1978 cards, see his profile at BOBSCARDZ.

I wish Bob the best of luck in his recovery and I hope that he is allowed full access to this site again.

Ouch!!! I've had kidney stones twice, small ones. They hurt alot and you can't get comfortable. Had a lady tell me once that she had both her kids with no pain meds, and having a kidney stone hurt worse than childbirth!! Haven't had one since I stopped drinking sweet tea.

I wish him well and a quick recovery. Sounds like he's already well on the way to a quick recovery.

Get well soon Bob. I have had to deal with kidney stones twice myself but was able to pass them along with just some pain killers.

I've had it once, too, and a lady told me basically the same thing - she did not say if the epidural was skipped when she gave birth, though, but said passing a kidney stone was worse. I've gladly shared that with a few women and, well, let's just say it was not accepted as fact.

Luckily haven't had them and I'm the wrong gender to give birth, but I have also heard a lady tell me the same thing. Got the same reaction as Sportzcommish when I shared that information with some women!
