Growing up in Detroit, Al Kaline & Gordie Howe were my boyhood sports heroes. Always collecting and trading for pre 80's Detroit sports cards as well as current product. Currently building the 1975 Topps baseball mini set. Many '75 minis I have now are considered fillers due to condition and need of upgrade. Thanks in advance to all offers and potential trade partners.
Please note- I don't grade my cards. The vast majority of the cards offered are in pack fresh condition. Unless it's a vintage card (pre-80s), any noticeably flawed cards with soft corners or creases will not be offered here. Any cards with condition tags within my trade list are cards obtained through other members.
When trading vintage cards, I prefer to send photos via email or text for you to examine. I will describe the card as best I can. In my experience, photos remove all doubt and boosts confidence with my trade partners. The last thing anyone want is bickering and nit-piking over perceived flaws. Oh yeah, my cards are from a smoke and pet free environment.
**Grumpy rant- I am on this trading site to interact with others and share the joy this hobby gives me. If you send an offer without a message, I may be inclined to decline. Knowing where a trade partner stands and their mindset going into a trade is important to me. Communication and preparation is key. To avoid any suprises, I pull/confirm cards before making an offer.
When making offers on a card that is the only 1-2 being offered on the site, be aware if the cards you are offering are cards I can trade for at anytime your offer will likely be declined. Most of these cards hold a premium value as well. I would expect a rare offering/value in exchange. Same goes for AU, SN, MEM, & SP cards as well. Considerations can be taken with vintage cards.
Having been a former MLB groundskeeper, I'm offering IP autographs that I have acquired for trade only. They are listed as to what particular card is signed. I'm more than happy to email photos upon request.
Sorry, no international trades (including Canada) for me. Probably going to lose out on some great hockey cards but based on past shipping experiences, it's just my preference. Unless otherwise specified, I ship PWE.
