Biggest project I undertook (and completed) was getting the 2015 Topps Series 1, Series 2, and Update Series Gold set (all SN2015). Had some nice helpers here to do that.

I'm not really sure I've completed any projects. I have some running ones like getting 1 card for every person who played a game for the Sabres but that probably won't ever be completed. I tried to master set 2010-11 Certified Hockey but the product dried up... it is one reason why I have so much of that set on my trade list (and there are still much more I didn't list).
In the past I tried to get 1 card for every player who played in a world series game but never completed it.
The only thing I ever really did was get a manufactured letter patch card for each letter in my username.

So far my biggest completed project has been a 2017 Panini Encased frankenset. It is a 100-card "base" set from 2017 Panini Encased football and basketball. Every team from each sport and every base parallel is represented. Boxes retailed around $300-$400 and contained only 4 cards. It's a hit focused product so the base cards went for cheap. If I can ever scan my cards I'll publish a list on TCDB

I can't think of too many. OH there is the 1968 Topps Baseball Game insert set I completed some years back (10?). Still haven't managed to get them all together and into a binder together though. Story of my "collection" since my move to my apartment almost 15.5 years ago.

I collect: Baseball, Football, Hockey, Mostly Vintage pre1980, My Homie teams - Washington/Baltimore Teams Senators (Twins, Rangers), Expos/Nationals, Redskins, Capitals, Bullets/Wizards - HOFers - Non-sport (mostly TV shows and movies). My Trade List is very much a work in progress CaptKirk42s Trading Card Blog Curly W Cards Strive For '65 YouTube klandersen42

The only set I've ever completed is the 1969 Topps Deckle Edge set. Fun little set.

As a kid my PC mostly consisted of Hakeem Olajuwon, Andre Johnson, and Nolan Ryan. My main goal/project for the last few years has been to collect 2,000 unique cards of each of them. Hoping to complete that project in the next year or two!

I think I have to go with my Last Topps Card of Every Hall of Famer Who Has a Topps Card collection. I had a lot of them when I started, and updating with modern cards is easy. But getting, for example, a 1953 Paige and 1956 Robinson and others was a (very worthwhile) challenge. It was a thrill when I got the last card, which I think was the Paige, which, by the way, has skyrocketed in value since I got it and is now my most valuable card by a lot. Of course, by definition, the project is ongoing. But I already have the last Topps card of the all the modern inductees. But when the committees get to work, it can be a different story. I loved it when Gil Hodges got inducted, for example. Had to buy another old card...

Oh no, not buying more old cards, the horror! I finally got to a show this weekend and picked up some more sweet stuff to include a '62 Maris and '67 Rose for a sweat deal. Every so closely getting those sets closed out. I couldn't image a '53 Paige goes for...not chasing that set unless I'm a lotto winner.

Oh, no way I'm trying to complete the 1953 set. I don't remember what I paid for the Paige, but I'd guess about $150 about eight years ago. Now similarly graded ones are going for $1200 regularly on eBay. But I'll never sell....

The furthest I may try to go back is '57. When I go to a show I can end up like a shotgun where I target many years trying to get a much as i can for a deal then getting very specific cards. Find myself short by 1 card in '71 (Blue) and '73 (Nettles). Most of the 60s are in decent shape where it's getting to high numbers and/or the real $ cards. 68 is under 20, but includes you know who. Need to start 60 still, have a decent bunch of 59, handful of 58, but 57...
