Just wondering how many traders make a physical count of the cards pulled before packaging them, no matter if a trade of 10 cards or 500+ cards, just to confirm that all the cards listed in the trade are actually being packaged?

I do that. Try to check the card #s too. I've never traded away more than 50 cards or so though...

Me too. I strive to package larger lots them in the same order as listed in the transaction, for easy verification.
I'd make an exception and package higher-value cards out of order to ensure they are better protected, somewhere in the middle of a stack or in a semi-rigid as appropriate.

All the time. I check when I pull them to propose/accept and I check when I package. One time where I almost made a mistake over a variation has made me cautious enough to do my best to give the items that were agreed to. Oddly enough, the more trades I make, the more I wonder if I'll ever get a bad feedback for something I overlooked.

I do, and it's part of my multi-step trading process routine which is to ensure ALL is sent to my trading partner. For me it's one of the last steps before packaging.

Yes, I pull the cards before I propose or accept a trade. Then I double-check numbers, VARs and total cards before packaging.

All the time. Cards are pulled when I propose and before I accept. I have to be sure I am sending out the right cards. I also check one last time before I package. I had a trade awhile ago where I didn't check for a certain variant. I thought every card I had was the same variant, come to find out about 6 cards in the set dont have a variant. Myself nor my.trade partner knew that was the case

I do. I check all the card numbers before sending them off. I think, one time I didn't receive one card in the trade. Not a big deal to me.

I always double check my cards before accepting or sending an offer.
