Yes, that is why I asked....
I understand errors; we all make them from time to time. Wrong VAR, parallel vs base card, wrong card from set. I have probably seen them all and I know I have made a 3 or 4 myself. When I am on the receiving end of these errors, I message the other member to let him know only so that he can correct his trade list, especially if it is that he sent me a prallel he was not aware of (has happened more often than you would think). On missing cards, the subject of this post, I do not usually ask that the card be sent on its own; in advising him, it is to make him aware that he still has it for trade so that he can update his list. The only time I have asked for the cards is when it was all of the better cards in a trade or if it finished a set for me. If the other member really wants to make up for it, we look for another trade possibility where the missing card is included.
My point in this thread was just a reminder and a Tip for traders to be able to avoid the error of the missing card. I am happy to see so many confirm that yes, they do physically count the cards to the number in the trade. The names I see that replied are all frequent traders so no doubt have learned this simple lesson. (I would not leave a negative feedback for a missing common card especially when they acknowledge their mistake by message.)
As for those VAR one spoke of, after pulling 50-100 for a large trade, I start seeing dots where there are no dots and vice versa, even under a magnified light. I think I do get them right (no one has come back to me and said I sent the wrong ones) but my fear is that one day I will not.
