It took a few years but I finally finished my first set from scratch. This will be the first of many. Next year will be a beginning of an slow overhaul, realization has set in. Nobody to pass most of my cards to so I'm going to build sets and then sell. Well over 100k cards and no room to organize has become my personal embarrassment. I will admit there is a feeling of satisfaction getting that final card! So the next question is... which sets will be next? 1998 Sox finite, radiance, and spectrum is one. 2013 Topps Chasing History 1,2@ update? Any of the Ginter or Heritage? Star Wars? A lot to choose from! Thanks for letting me rant and babble on lol

Congratulations. The most satisfying word for collectors is COMPLETE. I still remember the feeling I got when I finally acquired a 1987 Topps Ted Power to complete my very first big set. It is very satisfying, but also a little sad because it means the fun of building that set is now over. As you said though, there is always a new journey. Good luck to you.

What are your thoughts on the SP variations in that set? I got a hobby box of those when they came out and I remember thinking the SPs didn’t seem all that short printed.

I know that I have a goal after getting organized to complete sets from my birth year (1998) to the current. Most of those will be through trade since I don't buy older boxes often. Congrats on the major accomplitionment!
