Trivia

  • This set includes the rookie card of Tony Dorsett (#315).
  • Although many cards had to be airbrushed because of copyright issues (helmet logos were airbrushed over), Jeff Van Note's card (#153) had to be airbrushed because he had blood on the bridge of his nose.

These were the first packs I ever opened. I don't remember much other than I had OJ Simpson, Roosevelt Leaks and Bert Jones! I glued them all into a notebook. Guessing I probably had about 10 packs worth.

This is the set that introduced me to Topps football. The borders, colors which complemented the photos, and capital letter team names create a simple yet entertaining design.
