Trivia |
- This set is unique in Topps football history for putting a marker shaped like a football with the words "1000 Yarder" within on cards of RBs who gained 1000 or more yards rushing on the year.
- The team checklist insert set with white backs are from mail in offer, while the brown backs are part of the regular set.

Better looking set than I remembered but, man, can't Topps cut cards straight at this point? And often the back isn't centered the same as the front. And annoyingly difficult to read card numbers. But some great photos!
Skipped lunch at school every day, saved the $ to spend on these beautiful cards. 0 regrets, the memories of cracking those packs still with me today.
This was my first pack of football cards as a kid and my favorite set from the 1970's. I would ride my bike to the corner store and trade coke bottles in for change and buy as many packs as I could. Those were the days
