This site has been amazing in helping me rekindle my love for trading cards. I prefer baseball but do have some moderate interest in basketball and football.  I love to trade! If I send an offer and it's not quite right feel free to counter.

I do PC a few players but am mostly focused on building sets right now.  I'm currently working on:
2022 Bowman Chrome Prospects: 74%
1978 Topps: 89%
2002 Upper Deck: 40%
1997 Fleer: 30%
2002 Donruss Originals 85%

Players I PC are:

  • Carlos Baerga - currently #1 on the site. Trying to get one of all of his cards
  • Chipper Jones - my favorite player
  • Jose Canseco - my first favorite player
  • Rickey Henderson
  • Tim Hudson

I ship most things PWE though bigger trades will go in a BMWT.

Definitely like the "vibe" of this site

My goal is to collect every Topps base set and Topps update set.  Some will be regular cards and some will be graded.  Joined Feb 2023

Prefer PWE trades

Definitely interested is Topps base set Short print (SP)  variations

I am a set collector which means a lot of the cards on my list are standard cards that are worth $0.18.  Lots of times when I do trades I look at value of the cards and not just number of cards

My collection is relatively small - I try to not to pick up stuff I don't necessarily need. If anything I'm trying to downsize a bit. However, if you find something on my tradelist you could use, here are my collecting priorities, in rough order:

1) my three primary player collections: Kevin McReynolds, Keith Hernandez, Pete Harnisch. Those are, admittedly, really hard to hit because I've got almost every major release from those guys.

2) autographs from everyone who's played for the Mets. Again, hard to hit because the majority of the guys I need either don't have certified autos, are old/deceased, or both. However, they don't need to be in a Mets uniform, which opens up the pool a bit. My need list: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1qwZl3ADQSf_gVoFHtuS6t3hRaaHnEzRZ3N3h7sJtjkQ

Those are the big two; knowing that those are hard to hit, though and knowing that I just really enjoy trading, here are other things that catch my eye:

3) 1960 Topps. Picked up about 60% of this set from a friend and figured "what the heck, let's go for it." Literally just about any condition as long as there's nothing major (holes, rips) is good for me. I'm down to less than 30 cards for this set, and since they're mostly higher-value cards, I'm really *looking* for off-condition at this point.

4) Mets parallels, but specifically parallels from guys who I really like. :) Mookie Wilson, Ron Darling, Sid Fernandez, Wilmer Flores, and David Wright, mostly, with Nimmo, Gooden, Alonso, and Dom Smith as other options. It's a moving target - sometimes it's just a feel thing. Don't need base, don't need inserts, necessarily, unless they're particularly eye catching.

5) Modern base flagship cards of classic players. The Topps SP variations, basically, of the Clementes and Aarons and Jackie Robinsons and such.

6) Oversized cards. I've always loved the 5x7 parallels of base cards, ever since the mid-80s "Super" sets. They're boxtoppers now, so they're harder to find, and it kind of ties in with #4 a bit, because I really love what Topps has done the last few years with my three favorite sets ever: 1983-1985 Topps.

7) Other G-VG-EX condition vintage. I don't need anything mint. Just love to have some older stuff in my collection. I'm actively looking to downsize a bit, so taking a handful of modern base/low-end inserts off my hands in trade for a few VG/EX vintage is cool by me.

I'm generally pretty easy to trade with, I think, but if you're interested in something valuable or vintage, I'd need something valuable or vintage or off my real wantlists. Thanks for looking!

I (Crimsonhawk44) have been a hobby collector for quite a while, but unfortunately don't have all the cards that I had at one point, due to moving, and having reduced space a few times. I mainly collect Pittsburgh Penguins (NHL Hockey) and Pittsburgh Pirates (MLB Baseball) now but do have interest in some other sports and non-sport/gaming cards.

I am slowly getting cards added to my collection on here. I am looking for any Penguins or Pirates cards that are not currently in my collection, primarily the cards on my want lists for sets I'm currently collecting.

My wife and I recently got into the Disney Lorcana TCG, so I might be interested in those as well.

My son (Bluehawk22) collects Fortnite cards, mainly Series 3, but any will do, as well as some Pokémon.

My father (Dusty Road Beagles) is the reason I started collecting as a child. Life, limited space, and finances have limited our collection over the years, but we still both enjoy collecting.

  1. Crimsonhawk44 wants to finish the 2021-22 MVP Hockey Base Set including SPs. (Currently: 240/ 250)
  2. Crimsonhawk44 wants to finish the 2021-22 MVP Hockey Mascot Gaming Parallel Set. (Currently: 23/30)
  3. BlueHawk22 wants to collect the Base set of Fortnite Series 3 trading cards. (He currently has 125/232.)
  4. BlueHawk22 wants to collect the Harvesting Tools insert set of Fortnite Series 3 trading cards. (He currently has 38/65.)
  5. BlueHawk22 wants to collect the Wraps insert set of Fortnite Series 3 trading cards. (He currently has 22/35.)

  • Obtain a single rookie card for every Pittsburgh Penguins player. It doesn't have to be a Young Guns rookie, or a graded version, raw is just fine.

BASEBALL - Pittsburgh Pirates, Chipper Jones, Tom Glavine (Braves), Greg Maddux (Braves), John Smoltz (Braves), Jim Thome (Indians)

FOOTBALL - Pittsburgh Steelers, Reggie White (Packers)

HOCKEY - Pittsburgh Penguins, Manon Rheaume (First woman to play in exhibition game in any of the major North American sports), Pascal Dupuis (wife's favorite)

MISC - Fortnite (For Bluehawk22), Any Transformers

POKEMON - Gyarados, Arcanine, Aerodactyl, Talonflame, Zapdos (for Crimsonhawk44), Charizard (for Bluehawk22), and Dratini (for Mommahawk2012)

To purchase cards, please contact me on here first, but payments can be made via PayPal Friends and Family to Crimsonhawk44.

Always looking to do trades.  I prefer PWE (4-27 card trades), but I'm not afraid to work out a big trade. I usually send PWE for smaller trades (27 and under) unless we work something out before the deal gets done, just FYI.

Finished adding most of my football and baseball auto and relics for trade..  They will usually ship BMWT so all I ask is you make the trade worth the shipping and I'd prefer to do like for like on the autos and relics.  But I'm always open to GOOD offers.

Concentrating on completing my Topps Baseball and Football Flagship sets.  And my Packers Team sets from 1970-2015 Topps Flagship, and base Allen and Ginter sets.  And of course any Robin Yount cards I don't have.  But I'm open to trade for anything on my want list.

Only shipping packages and PWEs to the US.

PWE to Canada only. (of course for the right trade and cards we might be able to work out a deal for a package)

Sorry no other international shipping (just too darn expensive).

Does this smell funny?

***If you are offering a trade and you see I need a '53 Topps card that you have, I am most likely not interested in trading for it, as I am collecting a graded set and just use the wantlist to keep track of what I still need.***

Chipper Jones, Derek Jeter, Tony Gwynn, Ozzie Smith, Kirby Puckett, Vlad Guerror (Sr.), Don Mattingly.

Players from Delaware including Mason Fluharty (my cousin), Zack Gelof, Jake Gelof, Delino DeShields, John Mabry, Chris Widger, Randy Bush, Chris Short, Ian Snell, Joey Wendle, and others. University of Delaware athletes in UD uniform. Tennessee Volunteer football players in UT uniform. Duke basketball players in Duke uniform.

Cards on my for sale/trade list typically consist of the following conditions (I will let you know if an individual card is in worse condition):

2020-2010 - Fresh out of the pack, typically NrMt

2000-2009 - Ex-Mt to Nr-Mt (may have a fuzzy corner or show a little bit of edge wear from being in a box, especially if the card has a dark colored border)

1988-1999 - Cards from when I was a kid. Some may have some fuzzy corners or edge wear from being in a box. If the wear/damage seems significant I will let you know once I pull them.

1981-1988 - Some may have some edge wear, fuzzy corners, may have a dinged corner. Others may be straight out of the pack. I will let you know if there are any serious issues.

1980 and older - I typically include the condition. Most of these cards are EX at best. Some are a lot worse. I can send photos if you are interested, just ask.

I don't typically pay attention to centering unless it is really bad. If the card is legitimately miscut and you can see another card on it then I just throw it out and it won't be listed here (with the exception of some vintage stuff).

I prefer to trade my non-baseball for baseball cards, as I'm trying to focus my collection and reduce the space it takes up.

I ship PWE unless it's too many cards to fit or there's a card of significant value.

*** trades  CLOSED at  this time**

Will listen to small sale offers if I have something you need a lot.*******

Cardinals Baseball any year any brand

Some Vintage Topps Baseball Set Building (in any condition).....

Also doing 9 page project of John Riggins (Football/Redskins), see want list, can use dupes of some.

Memphis Grizzlies basketball added to want list past few years

I have NOT separated my traders into dot and no dot variations (or letter variations).  If this matters to you, I do not mind checking for a particular one for your want list...

I do expect nm or better condition on 81-present cards (unless agreed upon lower condition in messages)  On vintage, I collect any condition except on upgrade lists.

If you do want to trade vintage, please be clear on what your condition requirements are....many of my extra vintage are in lower conditions..

Oddball/Food Issue/Magazine/insert cards- Typically these have a much smaller print run/population than regular set cards like topps, fleer, upper deck etc.    When trading for these, I like to get similar for similar.  I will likely not accept a trade offer of oddball card for regular issue set cards.

Completed 2812+ trades with 641 different traders (in multiple groups) since 2005

Have lots of wants on my web page, not on this database

Everything in dupes collection is available for trade even if not in trade/sales list

I can only ship on weekends ....

Some of you may be frustrated that I turn off trades, but here is why:

I am in multiple trading groups, and simply do not have time to do more than 1 or 2 trades at a time

I am open to offers if you want to buy although my primary focus is trading.

Confessions of a rambling Scatterbrain trying to find order sorting cards.

I’ve collected a lot of things over the years, stamps and Coins a a kid, records for most of the last 40 years, zines, comics, musical and studio gear just to name a little bit.  Circumstances have led to multiple liquidations several times in my life, often time that collection(s) was a literal lifesaver.  Cards are certainly a much smaller lighter easier subject matter until they aggregate from small little piles and repack boxes stacked all over to…..

As we all came out of the catastrophe of covid and the lock downs I took a look around me and found myself to be unemployed and recently homeless newly located back in an old city and then suddenly a widower.  All a few years before I turned 50.  It has been a tough journey, one I slowly continue literally 1 step at a time wandering the neighborhood at night.  Somewhere along the way I picked up one of those blue baseball repack hanger boxes at Walgreens.  I’m not sure what made me do so, but I enjoyed seeing old faces from my youth in Chicago where we had 2 middling baseball clubs.  I got another one, found some cards thrifting and pretty soon found that through all the grief and sadness, the loneliness and uncertainty organizing cards was about the only thing I really enjoyed.  I started putting together some small sets of my fave teams and players, continued in enjoying the new old time reissue programs of Topps Archives and Heritage.  Now I’m working on my own league of teams  based around odd similarities like Team Chew (tobacco), team Afro, Team biker mustache and so forth.

I have watched precious little baseball this year, but briefly enjoyed hockey the last couple years so as the cold kills the grass this year I may start the same for the NHL.  I’ve also found non sports collections to be increasingly enticing.  Things like Bone comics, Mad Magazine, and the Bloom county collections.  Rat Fink hot rods and tasteless precursors of GPK like Baseball’s Greatest Gross-outs, Toxic High, Awesome All stars.  In many ways I’m “Stumbling through the dark” and found some comfort in the simplicity of youth when things made sense: Baseball and comic books.

I’m interested in trading as much as I am just meeting people to chat with here.  Maybe I can find my way back to some kind of actual community or group of real people too.

I start by set building off of whatever is handy and cheap. I’ve got large chunks off  a couple off the last few Topps Heritage sets and a couple of the Topps Archives sets.  Getting ever closer to the base Topps 2023 set and a couple hockey sets that will become this winters projects.  I’m also slowly starting to pull things out of these sets to build my own Frankensets based upon my own personal criteria, like how far along can I get to a full set under the rules and conditions I hold only myself to.  It’s not really about getting full sets built for the most part, but much more about justifying the process that I’ve found helpful.

So I think I’ve got my FS/T and collection visible.  For the vast majority of things I’m willing to entertain offers on.  Even if I’ve almost got a set done, you might have something I need more. I’m willing to trade tons of nickel cards for 1 vintage or single equal card for card out of the exact same set and just about any scenario in between.  I occasionally buy things if I have a few bucks, but I’ve been unable to work for a while and don’t have much.  I’m willing to sell as a way to build up a small nest egg for cards.  Make me an offer of cash, cards, or barter.  Please keep in mind that I have very good days and very bad days, sometimes in the same 24 hour period.  Sometimes I’m gung ho and sometimes I can’t do anything but stare at the wall for hours.  I don’t get things packed up and mailed right away, everything usually takes me a few days.  So please be patient and maybe offer a reminder.  If you happen to be in Milwaukee or maybe Chicago and know of gatherings (aside from card shows) or just wanna get together in a small group to talk about, show off, trade cards or whatever it is that is done at such events I’d be interested in checking it out.

To My Trading partners:

For starters please know that I take care of my elderly mother in her home. Sometimes this gives me a ton of time to sort and fiddle (our in house term for my  card activities). But sometimes there are health issues that flare up and dealing with sudden Dr Visits or even trips to the ER can take up my time and energy and that can cause delays in my getting cards pulled and mailed out. Something’s I may have to hold small packages until I have the money to pay for non PWE postage.

I really do try to get things out quickly but if I can’t I always try to include a little something extra, be that one of your “guys”, something that was dropped from a larger deal and especially an item that I have from your want list.

When I mail binder pages I will put the cards with PS into the pocket upside down to protect the top edges from tape, dirt, etc. I’ll use old wrappers to cover the open edges of PS rather than taping across the top of the card. I’m constitutionally unable to just throw away wrappers for some reason so if you are looking for or collecting any wax junk or foil packs I can stuff a few in with a trade if I got em, but I don’t have a comprehensive list.

I am willing to trade anything for any other thing if it works for me. I’ll trade across sports, junk for rare, rare for commons, sports for non. Nothing it to weird for me to consider.

I generally wil list most of anything from this 21st century fairly quickly. I’ve got times of stuff from before that. Rather that trying to list all of Donruss 87-92, fleer 88-92 base, Leaf etc etc I’ve picked a few things to list a small section of. So if you find a few of your wants on a given set you are building please ask if I got more. For example I recently put up Some Leaf Studio 91 & 92, Fleer Ultra 92, tops TSC 90-92, etc. I would give very favorable terms to anyone who needed dozens or hundreds of these cards to fill your holes. Same with the aforementioned junk wax. I’m also interested in the idea of accepting less defined trades, like you want XYZ and have a bunch of set ABC that I’ve had some curiosity of or there is an a line I haven’t explored that looks cool I could just agree to a pile of random things from whatever. I also have some limited Football and basketball of unknown years that turned up in larger collections I bought. There is some junk wax and some more recent flashy sparkly ones but nothing particularly special afaik. I’m trying to put up a few things little by little just in case someone’s set needs them. If this is of interest ask and I can take a look at it for you.

I do have some guys and teams in Baseball and Hockey. I grew up in Chicago and have been a die hard Cubs fan since 1976 when Mr Wrigley the Gum Magnate opened the bleachers for kids to come see the game after the 7th inning stretch.

Ernie Banks is my Fave all time player, the 2016 team (and I’m interested in assembling players cards from before that and where they went after, not necessarily every players every card from all stops but a nice representation of where did they come from and how were they spread to the winds after.) I’m similarly interested in slowly getting this type of set for 2005 White Sox, 2004 Red Sox, the 2019 Nats, the Chicago Blackhawk 2010-2015 dynasty, the Colorado Avs and Washington Caps Stanley cup teams.

My guys (besides the obvious god like stars of various teams above) are Ernie Banks, Andre Dawson, Shawon Dunston, Carl Edwards Jr/CJ Edwards but known and loved in our hearts always as the “Stringbean Slinger”, Sean Doolittle, Rick Reuschel, guys in old timey uniforms, guys who look like they are dancing on the card (but not really), Negro League players, Satchell Paige, pictures where the bay or ball seems to just float in the air for no reason largely unconnected with the player around it, balls (or pucks) caught just before or after it was caught or even better still on the bat. Lovers mascots, ballparks and the landmarks that make them special, Wrigley field, old Comisky park, defunct teams (not moved unless they took on a whole new identity like Pilots/brewers. As for Hockey I’m fond of the not quite star players like Brooks Liach, Johnny Oduya, Mike Greir, Mike Marson, Val James, cards with partially undressed skaters, those with recent stitches or blood on the sweater, WHA, defunct teams, old time sweaters, the same general absurdities as baseball. So let’s see what you got and tell me what of mine you need. If you know of trading meetups or events that are more social and less business than usual card shows in Chicago or Milwaukee please invite me. And finally my name, Randy, is just obscure enough but not so uncommon that i pull any card of any sport and put it aside. For what exactly I’m not sure, but generally i try to find them in the wild or have them show up, but there are occasional things that end up on wantlists too.

Main focus is Marquette basketball players, but also the handful of alums in other sports that have cards.  I also PC to a lesser degree:

  • Cubs
  • Bears
  • Notre Dame football alums (only 2007-present and some legends)
  • Blackhawks
  • Bulls

Still need to log my gaming and misc cards.
