Hi there,

I have entered 58,000 + sports and non-sports cards into the site.  TCDB is a great place to find collectors who have the missing cards to complete different card sets.  I've found card sets that I didn't know existed and now I would like to collect them.

I started collecting comic cards and football cards when I was a teenager.  My Dad collected Movie, TV show, and Sports cards, so I now have a lot of different card sets I'm looking to complete.

I collect all San Francisco 49er cards, Star Wars cards, Comic cards, and various Non Sports cards.  Always great adding cards to my individual collections of Steve Young, Jery Rice, Ronnie Lott, Barry Sanders, Randy Moss, Darth Vader, Wolverine, Spiderman, and Venom cards.

I love the organization and inventory from collecting cards.  Collecting is like having a full time job.

I'm open to mixed trades....Football for Baseball, vice versa, etc.

Collecting all Topps Baseball base sets from 1956 to present. If I have something on my ForSale/Trade list that you need and you have nothing on my Wantlist, I can sell those cards at a very reasonable price, just please make an offer, don't make me do all the work!.

VAR's: If it's important to you to get a specific variation in a trade, please let me know so I can be sure I have the correct one for you.

Effective 9/1/2025 I will only trade/ship/mail within the US (with a very few exceptions...you know who you are!).

Health Issues:  In remission from Esophageal Cancer, had Esophagectomy (removed my esophagus and stomach, made new parts  out of my intestines, put my new "stomach" into my chest). Now I have a few eating issues but I'll take what I can get. I occasionally have "stretches" done to my new esophagus so I can swallow food better. I get infusions of iron as needed for anemia. I've had reconstructive surgery on my neck, six times repairing/replacing discs in my back, had both elbows rebuilt, and both hands (nerves and/or tendons repaired/replaced)...and more surgeries to come!  All that damage was from running my own logging/firewood business for 32+ years, just beating the s**t out of my body. Due to the long term side effects of the drugs used to put me to sleep for the 30+ surgeries I've had, I have a very limited ability to remember things. I'm a proud veteran (USMC), small farmer (30 #$@#ing chickens as of right now), part time logger & firewood dealer.

In July of 2021 I lost my wife of 50 years to lung cancer (did I say that I hate cancer?).  This site and it's members became a lifesaver and a great distraction for me so that I could get through the many rough periods of my life. So that I can continue to be an active member on this site without worrying about memory issues, my BFF, Mary, has pretty much taken over most of the actual data input and trade manager duties. I still love to trade though and really enjoy the interaction with the members on this site. I actually NEED this site...it helps me with some of the "other" issues I have. Thanks to the many members who have interacted with us so far, I hope we can do more...send me some Vintage trades!

·      I don’t look up the value of every single card when I send a proposal, so sometimes an offer might tilt my way. No offense meant at all — I’m just trying to get a trade going. If something seems off, just send a counter.

·        My offers are always negotiable, especially if you think the value is off.  If you aren't happy with an offer, please counter before declining.

Counter , counter, counter if possible, I send some trades out just to open dialogue.

·        If I decline a trade, I will always provide a reason.  Please, Please, Please offer me the same courtesy.  I really hate feeling like my offers are just ignored.

·        Please understand when trading with me with that value is in the eye of the beholder, not necessarily what eBay says.

·        My priority is growing the quantity of my collection, not necessarily the value of my collection.

·        If I have something you want, and you have something I want, let’s make it work.

·        This is a hobby to me, not a business.  I'm not looking to make money and I know that my hobby will cost me money.  That said, I don’t understand the response it's not worth the postage.  If you aren't making a trade because of the cost of a stamp we are in this hobby for different reasons and probably won't make greatest trade partners.

If a card you are sending has damage to it, please let me know. This most likely won't be a deal breaker, I just want to know ahead of time. I collect (nearly) all cards for my PC , even if it has damage, I don't mind replacing it later on.

If I send an offer and don't get so much as a message after 10-14 days I will probably withdraw so that I can free up the cards for other trades

As I enter the cards into my inventory I try to remove the damaged , stained and rough corners but some do get through. I will notify when one comes up in trade.

·        Trading: I don't have any restrictions on trades.  No minimums or maximums on cards in or out.  I'll do big lots for small lots or small lots for big lots.  I'll trade between eras and between sports.  I'll do inserts for commons or commons for inserts.  I just want both sides to feel like they've improved their collection when our trade is done.

I’m working through thousands of cards and narrowing my collection down to specific sets. I’m happy to trade for cards I need, and everything else is available. Feel free to make offers — I’m very open to deals.

I collect: NBA, NHL, NASCAR, Star Wars, History, Military, DC Comics, Olympics, whatever interests me

Current project is trying to get at least one card of everyone to ever get one for NBA, NHL and NASCAR. Also working on getting at least one example of every set ever for the above sports. (Wantlists on Cardboard History)

I have some health problems that make it challenging for me to get to my trade stash. It makes me a slow trader as there are some days when I'm simply in too much pain to access the boxes. My health problems are not transferable so you do not need to fear catching anything from trading with me. I generally only can mail on Saturdays.

Trading:

I prefer to trade 1 card for 1 card. I do not care about any made up "book value". I will gladly trade more than one card for some as well...there are a few cards on my tradelist that I do need more than one card for in return though. I only put sets on my wantlist that are close to completion, so if you have something else in any of the three sports or the Non-Sports topics I focus on, odds are I will want it. Only reason I wouldn't is if I had it already.  If you don't have anything from the topics I mainly collect, but I have something you want, I will also accept football or baseball in trade, pretty much anything to get a trade done. I would prefer not to trade with smokers. I have breathing problems and cards that come from smokers are essentially useless to me, I cannot handle them. I prefer larger trades but will do any size at all.

I have tried to make sure all the cards on my Tradelist are problem free, with no corner dings, scratches or other flaws, but I am human and it's possible I may have missed something, but all cards sent out are cards you shouldn't need to worry about ever finding a replacement for. I don't demand problem free cards in return as my theory is that a damaged card is better than no card, but writing and paper loss means to me that I don't actually have that card so please don't offer them to me in trade.

If you don't care about condition, take a look through my "Damaged Cards" collection. These are all cards that I rejected from my tradelist for having flaws but they are available for trade. I would put them at one third a card "value" so 3 damaged cards vs. 1 of your cards. If you do want any of them, let me know and I will move them to my tradelist. I don't want to put them all there and cause matches for people expecting good cards and getting damaged cards in return. Some of the flaws are pretty big problems, some you will probably wonder why I didn't list it in my tradelist. While my collection doesn't demand perfection, I am very strict with condition on cards I send out in trade.

Trading Prioroties: (what makes me the happiest to get in trade, in no particular order)

  • 1995-96 and 1996-97 NBA Cards
  • 1994 NASCAR Cards
  • Any NASCAR card that actually focuses on the car
  • Automotive Non-Sport cards
  • New York Rangers
  • New York Knicks
  • New Jersey Nets (and Brooklyn and New York Nets, but the NJ era is my favorite
  • Elton Brand
  • Dale Earnhardt Jr.
  • Henrik Lundqvist
  • History related Non-Sports cards
  • Attractive women (with or without clothes)
  • Anything from Racing Champions I don't have
  • Team logo cards for NBA and NHL
  • Non-sports subjects in Allen & Ginter
  • People with last names starting with Q, U, Z and especially X.
  • With that said, I will trade for anything at any time, whether it's on my wantlist or not. I prefer "quantity" to "quality" and I'm a set builder at heart.

There are also a couple of specific sets I'm really hoping to complete some day:

  • 1996-97 Ultra (NBA), my favorite set ever
  • 1988 Leesley Bigfoot (the set that got me started collecting)
  • 2002-03 Topps Chrome Refractors (NBA) Refractors are my favorite parallel and this is the closest one to completion
  • 1994 Action Packed (NASCAR) tied for my favorite NASCAR set
  • 1989-90 Marine Midland New York Rangers (just need the cover card!)
  • 1993 & 1994 Skybox The Simpsons (now only chasing inserts as base has been completed)
  • 1954 Topps Scoop (my favorite Non-Sport set ever)
  • 1953-54 Topps World on Wheels (my favorite automotive set ever)

2/23/26: With the overwhelming success I had gathering Bob Gibson cards for my Dad, I have added Matthew Golden, Javon Bullard, Micah Parsons, Sean Strickland & Travis Hunter to my Want Lists for my boys, as those are some of their favorites.  (Thank you to all I traded with to get the Gibsons.  Wrapped up that project with over 170 different cards, gifted to my Dad for Christmas/his Birthday!)

Came across tcdb.com towards the end of 2019, and I have now completed over 2,000 transactions, with more than 30,000 cards changing hands!  Love everything about this site.  I have met so many cool people from all over the Country, and even a few from Canada and beyond - as far away as Finland!  Missing U.S. trade partners from only Alaska & New Mexico, so let's get those crossed off the list.....

Stole this from another member, but......my goal is to have zero cards in my For Sale/Trade List.  So keep the proposals comin'!

(I know my Want List is relatively small, so I am certainly willing to Sell cards if we don't have enough matches to work out a trade)

My PC list is as follows (with TCDB rankings and total number of different cards - as of 5/19/2026):

NBA:

Giannis (#3, 778 cards)  ***I have paused adding any more Giannis cards for the moment - until there's more clarity surrounding whether or not he will be with the Bucks long-term***

Anthony Edwards (#2, 400 cards).

NFL:

Sterling Sharpe (#3, 490 cards)

Don Majkowski (#2, 115 cards)

Edgerrin Cooper (#1, 136 cards)

Boys' PC::

Matthew Golden (#1, 82 cards)

Travis Hunter (#1, 82 cards)

Micah Parsons (#3, 213 cards)

Javon Bullard (#10, 14 cards)

Sean Strickland (#10, 8 cards)

MLB:

Robin Yount (#11, 1,057 cards)

Tony Gwynn (#6, 2,578 cards)

Hal Morris (#4, 317 cards)

Mark Grace (#4, 907 cards)

Pat Listach (#2, 247 cards)

Mark Langston (#2, 427 cards)

Jackson Chourio (#2, 341 cards).

Bernie Brewer (#9, 22 cards)

Golf:

Rickie Fowler (#2, 1 card)

Joel Dahmen (#1, 59 cards)

Ludvig Aberg (#1, 1 card).

UFC:

Conor McGregor (#3, 79 cards)

Non-Sport:

Marvin the Martian (#1, 196 cards)

K-9 (#1, 25 cards)

Eddie Vedder/Pearl Jam (#2, 13 cards)

Judah Friedlander (#1, 5 cards)

Big Jay Oakerson (#1, 6 cards)

Dan Soder (#1, 13 cards)

The Brothers Osborne - TJ (#1, 9 cards) & John (#1, 9 cards)

Rob Riggle (#1, 21 cards)

Bert Kreischer (#1, 4 cards)

Will Ferrell (#10, 9 cards)

Tom Segura (#1, 8 cards)

Charlie Berens (#1, 15 cards)

Post Malone (#2, 5 cards)

Brody Stevens (#1, 6 cards).

Although I currently live in Florida, I was born in Milwaukee.....hence my obsession with Wisconsin sports teams.  Ha.

Please check out my For Sale/Trade list, and feel free to message me or send me trade proposals any time.....let's see what we can get done!  (I don't necessarily trade based on "book value", but rather the value to me, so please feel free to counter if I propose a trade that you feel is unfair.  I also have no rules about "insert for insert" or any of that nonsense, so don't be shy to shoot me a proposal)

I retired from the Military back in January 2024 and now I am working on lots of sets for my collection and started a 2023 through 2024 Topps Heritage baseball sets ( mainly SP's and parallels as of 1 April 2025) for and with my grandson.  Would love to trade and connect with others that enjoy the hobby as I do.  I love vintage cards and primarily collect lower to mid grade of baseball and football from 1951 to 1977.  I have a intense passion for older football such as the 1960's football sets and 70's.  I am also dabbling in some basketball with emphasis on 1969 Topps "Tall Boys" and finishing the 1971-72 Topps basketball set.

Other than working on my grandsons sets and trying to finish them I am focusing mainly right now on my 1950's through 1975 Football sets.  I am working hard to try and get a few complete before the end of 2025 if possible.

Note:  For any cards 1980 to present I am looking for strong NM to NMMT or better and really don't want to budge on lesser grades unless approved and talked about.

Most of my vintage are lower grade and I have lots of old vintage and quite a bit newer as well from all sports!!!  Let's trade and have fun

https://gunnyspasteboardpassion.weebly.com/

Special interests: (looking for VG or better if possible)

1950's Football cards

1960's and 1970's Topps and Philadelphia Football

1969-70 Topps Basketball

1971-72 Topps Basketball

Inserts and Parallels to the 2023 and 2024 Topps Heritage Sets!

Please know that I am not a professional grader (especially with vintage pre 1985) and grading is quite subjective, but I do try my best to list any issues and give it my fair opinion.

Allow a few days or up to week for me to respond at some times.  I do try to go to the Post office a few times a week.  I am willing to trade vintage for newer cards and newer cards for vintage I need for my and my grandsons sets.

I try to ship within a day or two after accepting an offer and may ask to send with tracking if more than a few cards and if the cards are higher dollar in monetary value so to speak.

Now the #2 collector of Ryan Klesko cards on TCDB due to a new member knocking me down a notch! LOL

PC:

VERY High priority: Ryan Klesko, Dale Murphy, Dominique Wilkins, Kenyon Yovan, Michael Conforto, Adley Rutschman, Nick Madrigal, Trevor Larnach, Steven Kwan, Cadyn Grenier, Drew Rasmussen, Jacob Melton, Travis Bazzana, Gavin Turley, Cooper Hjerpe, Justin Boyd, Dax Whitney, Ethan Kleinschmit, Aiva Arquette, Beau Philip, Kevin Abel, Wade Meckler, Christian Chamberlain, Nelson Keljo, Gary Payton II, Ethan Thompson, Tres Tinkle, Jam Griffin, Jake Luton, Jermar Jefferson, Terry Baker, Hamilcar Rashed Jr, A.C Green "In the Name" letter cards (I need the G-O-N cards), Jade Carey OSU or Olympic gear.  ONIT Oregon State cards.

Medium Priority: Dave Winfield, Trent Caraway (HS and Oregon St career only), Garret Forrester, Eric Segura, Matt Boyd, Andrew Moore, KJ Harrison, Will Frisch, Aiden May, Mitch Canham, Darwin Barney, Caleb Hamilton, Brandon Eisert, Wally Backman, Steven Jackson, Ochocinco/Chad Johnson, Brandin Cooks, Markus Wheaton, Nahshon or Rejzohn Wright, Taliese Fuaga, Luke Musgrave, Anthony Gould, Kitan Oladapo, Sean Mannion, Mike Hass, Jacquizz Rodgers, Gary Payton, Corey Benjamin.

Lower priority: Junior Seau, select Bo Jackson cards, Eric Lindros, Jordan Poyer, TJ Houshmandzadeh, Jacoby Ellsbury, Nick Barnett, Sophia Esposito, Matt Moore, other A.C Green cards, Johnny Hekker, Sam Gaviglio, Bob/Ken Forsch, Drew Eubanks, Brent Barry, Jared Cunningham, Lonnie Shelton, any Oregon State alum/player in any sport (male or female).

PLEASE SEND TRADE OFFERS.  It's my favorite part of the hobby.  Always willing to negotiate a good deal for both sides.  One card, or 10+ cards.  I'm fine with any size if it makes sense.  USA & Canada only, unless the card is significant enough to me to ship overseas.

I do NOT collect/keep any other cards of any other players/teams.  If the card isn't a unique card to me of one of my guys above, it's not something I will keep.  I don't want duplicates either.  I'll trade it or sell it if it's something I think I can move; otherwise, no thanks.  But I DO want any card of any of my PC guys if I don't already have it.  My trade/sell and want/wish lists are updated, so if it's not on those lists, it's highly unlikely that I'm interested in it, or I already own it.

Fan of: all OSU sports, Braves, Red Sox, Blazers, Chargers, Flyers, Timbers, Tottenham FC.

Goal for VINTAGE ONLY CARDS (condition NOT very important...just no rips/tears, no writing on the front...some creasing is absolutely ok...not really concerned with how the back looks): more Hank Aaron (preferably in a Milwaukie uniform), more Mickey Mantle pre-1969, Babe Ruth any playing year, Joe DiMaggio any playing year, Lou Gehrig any playing year, Ted Williams pre-1955, Jackie Robinson any playing year, Shoeless Joe any year, Jimmie Foxx any year, Satchel Paige any year, and Stan Musial pre-1960...maybe a few others.  For basketball, I would like a Alcindor while in Milwaukie, early Doctor J, Oscar, early Magic/Bird, Bill Russell, David Thompson, Cousy, Mikan (?), Moses & maybe a couple others.  Prefer to stay as cheap as possible, but for the right card might go a little higher...obviously Mantle/Ruth/Gehrig/DiMaggio and those types would be more.  Again, condition I know won't be great at these prices.  I now have a Hank, Mantle, Maris, Jackie, Clemente, Yogi, Bob Gibson, Tom Seaver, Ernie Banks, Sandy Koufax, Willie Mays, Joe Morgan, Jerry West, Wilt, Alcindor, Maravich and Gervin at these levels, and a Ted Williams that I'm very happy with.  But the more the merrier if the price is right!

  • I will typically send cards via PWE unless the quantity is above 20 and then I will send BMWT.  If you wish a smaller trade to be sent BMWT, please let me know & adjust the trade accordingly.

TCDB rankings as of 1/3/26:

  • Ryan Klesko (2nd) - 1204 unique cards (47% of total cards made)

*** I'm at the point again where I could get rid of some used toploaders.  I would be happy to sell or trade some again if you are in need of some clean ones.  I've done this 3-4 times now.  I can fit them in a smaller box and ship them.  I've gotten about .10 apiece plus shipping.  Let me know if you need some and we can figure out a deal! ***

Mostly baseball.  I'm working on completing my 1968 set that was left unfinished from my youth.  I have a few parallel/inserts I'd like to find to finish up collections from the 90's.

Next up will be a choice between going for the 67 set of diving into Hertiage cards from the 2000 ...

Baseball Set Collector.  Modern and Vintage.  Vintage Football and Basketball set collector.

My son collects Derek Jeter  - His have list is on my www page. He's almost up to 1400 Jeter cards.

I prefer cards with no writing, stains, trimmed, rips, tears, tape or multiple heavy creasing. VG or better, but I'd consider lesser grades on vintage to fill a collection hole for reasonable offers.

Can't find something on my wants? I have passive collections of Robin Yount and Paul Molitor and Green Bay Packers QBs (Starr, Favre, Rodgers and Love). Really not interested in Randy Wright ;)  Happy to take a look at tradelists for these players to see if we can work something out.

I am slowly (emphasis on slowly) adding to my trade lists here. I've got thousands more baseball cards listed for trade on my www.

I was a huge Twins fan from a very young age.  There are pictures of me in met stadium from 1968 or 1969 while we were playing the Orioles.  I do not remember the game. I recently went to my 46th straight Minnesota Twins home-opener with a bunch of my buddies and my son and his friends.  One of my best friends in the whole world was with us. He's a Royals' fan, how annoying.  I've been to at least 32 MLB stadiums.  But sadly, a bunch have been torn down.  I've also been to seven Twins World Series games included both game 7's.  You may remember Black Jack Morris and his 10 inning gem against the Braves in 1991.  I was there, just getting my voice back now.

I took a small break from Baseball Card collecting from 1991 to 2025 so I could get married and raise a family.  Empty-nesters now and downsized to a smaller house.  I started out with 50,000 mostly baseball cards, but some hockey (yes, I have multiple Gretzky rookies), and even football.  I'm purging virtually all of my Donruss, Fleer, Upper Deck, and Score cards.  I only have like 1986 to about 1991 left to get rid of.  I'm going to get rid of most of my football cards too.  They are from about 1970 to 1983 mostly.  And finally I'll get rid of my hockey except for two sets I think.  My football and hockey are not organized or in the database yet.  It's going to be a while. I've also started a collection of 1954 Topps in Pr to Fr condition. This will probably be done on my death bed.

I'm trying to get all my baseball cards into the database, but it's going to take a while.  I got mostly everything in from 1978 back plus 1982 and 1983.  I just have so many thousands of 1979-1981, it's a daunting task. 1980 cards are now in the database!

I am into unopened Topps wax packs and wrappers too from 1951-1991.  I managed to keep over 30 unopened 1979 and 1980 packs unopened from when I was a kid.  I have a bunch of wax packs and boxes on display in my home bar.  If you have any old Topps wax packs or wrappers please let me know.

The best years of baseball cards to collect on this site are 1968 through 1974.  That's because the SID in the URL is the same number as the year of the Topps set...

I also am trying to collect every single Reggie Jackson card that was manufactured during his career.  I found a supposedly exhaustive list and there is something over 200.  I'm up to 105 now, so I have a ways to go.

In the mean time I'm trying to trade my doubles to finish the following sets:

1954 Topps:  Only 222 left!  219

1969 Topps Seattle Pilots Team:  178, 233, 563, 577, 631

1972 Topps Regular Set In-Action (To finish the four posters on the backs):  696, 698, 700, 710

1973:  (Complete!) 25, 410, 606, are left.  Not supposed to be that difficult of cards to get.  But sheesh, I'm having a dickens of a time. 4-13-26.  Looks like I have make deals for the last cards.  They are not here yet, but coming.  Of course after they get here I'll have to check to make sure I didn't miss any cards before I celebrate.

1974 (second set, but the other is a factory set.  I'm going to display this set):  171 left to get. (Now 69 left) 4-13-26  47 left.  Only NINE left to go!

1975 (second set): 186 left to get. (Now 163 left)  105 (35 left to go!)

1976 (second set):  309 left to get. 270 (88 left to go!)

1977 (second set):  (Complete!)  355 left to get. (Now 203 left)  59 left...

1978 (second set):  (Complete!) One left to upgrade - First Checklist.  67 left to get. (Now 59 left)  11 left.  23a, 72, 73, 84, 201, 336, 374a, 404, 703, 704, 708

1979 (third set):  (Complete!) One left to upgrade.  Braves Team Card.

1980 Topps:  Two left!  450 George Brett and 325 Dan Driessen.

1981 Topps:  I have three sets and 4,200 "doubles".  I assume I have at least one more set in there.  No time to go through them.

1982:  281 left to get.  (Now 190 left)  One left! Unfortunately, it's Nolan Ryan.  Can anyone help out?

1982 Topps Stickers: (Complete!) Although it's mixed between the two types of stickers, and I don't care... lol  39 left to get.  (Then I think I'm going to stick them all into the sticker yearbook)  (Now 31 left) Only 20 left 4-14-26

1983:  507 left to get.  430 left to go.

1984 Topps:  434 to go.

1983 Donruss Action All-Stars:  (Complete!) John Stearns number 25.  Just that one left.  (Should be headed here in a trade too)

1985 Topps:  One left!  #73    Rusty Kuntz.  Someone must have this laying around.

1987 Topps:  Complete!

1988 Donruss:  Complete!

1983 Donruss Magnum P.I.:  Numbers 1, 10, 16, 66.  After Higgins finished his lunch, I said, "Look, Higgins...  (Just finished! 4-13-26)  I have five unopened wax packs too.

Thank you for reading this...  Just kidding, I assume nobody will ever read this.  If you do and get all the way to the end, message me with the play call code word from when I played Rugby for Minnesota in college:  Chartreuse!  (Like 8 people have responded to this.  Who knew?)  The first one to message me that word gets a free Thad Bosley card from the 1980's.

Priority of my want lists:
1 - Any and all Phillies cards (almost anything not in my collection is a "want")
2 - Various set ventures (baseball would be higher than hockey)
3 - Baseball HOFers (1980s)
4 - Baseball HOFers (1970s)
5 - Baseball HOFers (1990s)
6 - Baseball HOFers (all other decades)

If there are any other categories of want lists, they would fall between set completion and HOFers.

I added approx. 90,000 cards available for trade in early 2023.

[The next section has been updated on 5/25/2026]

Note: Currently transactions are ON.

Currently adding hockey inventory and will add to my FS/FT list when complete. When I do have transaction requests turned on, trade proposals will be handled in the order in which they are received. I am continuing to take it slow because I don't have the time or patience to take on too many trades at once. Additionally, I have found that it makes it easier on both sides because the cards are known to be available. And please, when we do trade, please make it so that the postage to/from your location to mine makes a trade worthwhile for both of us. Thank you.

Please also note that I am very much open to selling in addition to trading. If you see stuff you want and don't have anything in return, that's okay. We'll work out a deal that will be fair for both of us, not just me (and not just you, please).
