I was a huge Twins fan from a very young age.  There are pictures of me in met stadium from 1968 or 1969 while we were playing the Orioles.  I do not remember the game. I recently went to my 46th straight Minnesota Twins home-opener with a bunch of my buddies and my son and his friends.  One of my best friends in the whole world was with us. He's a Royals' fan, how annoying.  I've been to at least 32 MLB stadiums.  But sadly, a bunch have been torn down.  I've also been to seven Twins World Series games included both game 7's.  You may remember Black Jack Morris and his 10 inning gem against the Braves in 1991.  I was there, just getting my voice back now.

I took a small break from Baseball Card collecting from 1991 to 2025 so I could get married and raise a family.  Empty-nesters now and downsized to a smaller house.  I started out with 50,000 mostly baseball cards, but some hockey (yes, I have multiple Gretzky rookies), and even football.  I'm purging virtually all of my Donruss, Fleer, Upper Deck, and Score cards.  I only have like 1986 to about 1991 left to get rid of.  I'm going to get rid of most of my football cards too.  They are from about 1970 to 1983 mostly.  And finally I'll get rid of my hockey except for two sets I think.  My football and hockey are not organized or in the database yet.  It's going to be a while. I've also started a collection of 1954 Topps in Pr to Fr condition. This will probably be done on my death bed.

I'm trying to get all my baseball cards into the database, but it's going to take a while.  I got mostly everything in from 1978 back plus 1982 and 1983.  I just have so many thousands of 1979-1981, it's a daunting task. 1980 cards are now in the database!

I am into unopened Topps wax packs and wrappers too from 1951-1991.  I managed to keep over 30 unopened 1979 and 1980 packs unopened from when I was a kid.  I have a bunch of wax packs and boxes on display in my home bar.  If you have any old Topps wax packs or wrappers please let me know.

The best years of baseball cards to collect on this site are 1968 through 1974.  That's because the SID in the URL is the same number as the year of the Topps set...

I also am trying to collect every single Reggie Jackson card that was manufactured during his career.  I found a supposedly exhaustive list and there is something over 200.  I'm up to 105 now, so I have a ways to go.

In the mean time I'm trying to trade my doubles to finish the following sets:

1954 Topps:  Only 222 left!  219

1969 Topps Seattle Pilots Team:  178, 233, 563, 577, 631

1972 Topps Regular Set In-Action (To finish the four posters on the backs):  696, 698, 700, 710

1973:  (Complete!) 25, 410, 606, are left.  Not supposed to be that difficult of cards to get.  But sheesh, I'm having a dickens of a time. 4-13-26.  Looks like I have make deals for the last cards.  They are not here yet, but coming.  Of course after they get here I'll have to check to make sure I didn't miss any cards before I celebrate.

1974 (second set, but the other is a factory set.  I'm going to display this set):  171 left to get. (Now 69 left) 4-13-26  47 left.  Only NINE left to go!

1975 (second set): 186 left to get. (Now 163 left)  105 (35 left to go!)

1976 (second set):  309 left to get. 270 (88 left to go!)

1977 (second set):  (Complete!)  355 left to get. (Now 203 left)  59 left...

1978 (second set):  (Complete!) One left to upgrade - First Checklist.  67 left to get. (Now 59 left)  11 left.  23a, 72, 73, 84, 201, 336, 374a, 404, 703, 704, 708

1979 (third set):  (Complete!) One left to upgrade.  Braves Team Card.

1980 Topps:  Two left!  450 George Brett and 325 Dan Driessen.

1981 Topps:  I have three sets and 4,200 "doubles".  I assume I have at least one more set in there.  No time to go through them.

1982:  281 left to get.  (Now 190 left)  One left! Unfortunately, it's Nolan Ryan.  Can anyone help out?

1982 Topps Stickers: (Complete!) Although it's mixed between the two types of stickers, and I don't care... lol  39 left to get.  (Then I think I'm going to stick them all into the sticker yearbook)  (Now 31 left) Only 20 left 4-14-26

1983:  507 left to get.  430 left to go.

1984 Topps:  434 to go.

1983 Donruss Action All-Stars:  (Complete!) John Stearns number 25.  Just that one left.  (Should be headed here in a trade too)

1985 Topps:  One left!  #73    Rusty Kuntz.  Someone must have this laying around.

1987 Topps:  Complete!

1988 Donruss:  Complete!

1983 Donruss Magnum P.I.:  Numbers 1, 10, 16, 66.  After Higgins finished his lunch, I said, "Look, Higgins...  (Just finished! 4-13-26)  I have five unopened wax packs too.

Thank you for reading this...  Just kidding, I assume nobody will ever read this.  If you do and get all the way to the end, message me with the play call code word from when I played Rugby for Minnesota in college:  Chartreuse!  (Like 8 people have responded to this.  Who knew?)  The first one to message me that word gets a free Thad Bosley card from the 1980's.
