Finally completed this trade. No,it was not the smoothest one I have had but in the end,through patience and communication,the large trade finally arrived. The cards were properly sorted making it easy to sort through the trade and the cards were all of high quality.
Through communicating, this member has a lot going on in his life; priorities of family and work are set right. I would not discourage anyone to propose a trade with him as eventually I got the cards that were promised. I would recommend that it be asked that he sends first; if a tracking # is available, then sending once it is confirmed as enroute would be fine. Once I had a tracking #,I was able to follow my package to my mailbox.
Everyone should be allowed to enjoy the hobby and unlike some other members I have encountered on this site with whom I would never trade with again,I would trade with Mariners1981 again.

This trade started back in April, here it is August. I tried to be patient but it's been too long considering I was told it's on the way. First, I was told it got lost. Now, the replacement cards never got here. If you trade with this person, make sure you get your cards first!

I've waited and waited for this one. Trade initiated in Feb. Nothing showed. April he said it came back to him all eaten by the machine. Said he would mail it again the next day. Still no envelope by May 18. Offered a different card(s) as replacement. Still nothing by June 5. On June 18, he said "I sent out some more cards to you today. I took them to the post office instead of dropping them In the mail box in my neighborhood." July 1: "I'm really sorry, do not know what is going on. I will keep sending I guess till you receive something. I understand a not good comment about trade." Now it's July 16 and no packages or envelopes of any kind, supposedly coming from different locations.

I hate to give poor reviews/feedback. In fact, this is only the 2nd time on this site. It was a small deal, so it's not the end of the world. Just wanted others to be aware and alert of a PWE trade here. Sorry to have to leave this, I was as patient as I could be.
