So get this. This guy finds out from snooping on the public forums that I want old Cubs cards. On his own, he goes and finds all the old Cubs cards I'm missing that he has and he offers me a trade. Well, I don't have any cards he wants, so he's got the audacity to ask a really low buying price, that I accept. Immediately -- I mean it seemed like a couple of hours after I accepted, the dude sends me the cards. And -- this REALLY gets my goat -- he REFUSES TO LET ME PAY UNTIL I GET THE CARDS AND AM SATISFIED WITH THEIR CONDITION! I mean, really. Then the cards arrive two days later, and they're carefully packaged with that snooty blue painter's tape and everything. They're in great condition and he clearly charged me well below market. I've asked if he'll let me pay for them now. I'm not holding my breath. Seeing how this guy operates, he'll probably tell me to just take them for free. But I won't fall for it. I'm going to find a way to pay him. So, he's clearly in this trading/selling thing just to make other unscrupulous, less competent, slower trader/sellers look bad. He does everything perfectly and honorably, obviously with some motive I can't ascertain. Is that the kind of guy you want to trade with? Is it? I'll let you be the judge.
