This is the bulk of my collection because that's when I returned to buying cards from racks to boxes. It lasted only those few years from 89-92, thus my Trade List is comprised of much of that.
Anyway, I agree that if one uses the price list to trade, things need to be updated. I have yet to find any cards being sold for $0.05. Check Sportlots and the starting price is $0.18. Amazon $0.35. Beckett Marketplace $0.25. Ebay $0.99.
Now I'm biting my own hand because as I'm collecting my Astros team sets, many cards still fall in this era, I may be seeing the end of getting two-for-one in trades if pricing is updated.
I also agree that the value means nothing to me when I own a card I wish to keep. And I've been blessed immensely by some who trade based on each other's needs with some consideration for price at times, but not based solely on that.
