Very perceptive! Bench fouled out to Bench. It happened. I'm waiting for a possible Ryan fanning Ryan.
But truly those names. There were a couple that I had to Google because even though they're modern day players, if they don't play for Houston then I don't know them. SaintOrm's team was a chore because I had to make sure I was referring to correct "Saint" each time.
I learned a long time ago in Sunday School of all places, when reading those biblical names, sometimes it's best to just say whatever comes out of your mouth and do it with confidence and no one will correct you. Some of these player names are harder!
Thanks for listening (watching). Oh, and yeah, somebody's going to get hit EVERY game because they are intense! ;)

Time for some post game presser stuff...
First off great game by both teams. The Monikers gave it their all, no doubt. Secondly I would just like to emphasize when Dock Ellis was having a bit of trouble early in the game against the Monikers, I called for a mound conference. Just to put down any rumors during the conference on the mound I DID NOT, repeat DID NOT, provide a single controlled substance to my pitcher.
No more questions please.
(Thanks Sportzcommish for a GREAT contest!)

No, of course not. He had his own stash. Turned out to be a great choice for a pitcher, though.
I hear the Monikers are protesting the game and requesting a drug test.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Umps were nowhere to be found after the game. They did have Ellis' resin bag, allegedly.

Does "allegedly" refer to the umps allegedly having the bag. Or to "allegedly" there being resin in the bag? It is kinda funny that he "resins" his nose with the bag.

The umpire's union isn't speaking to me so I'm not sure what is alleged.

Most importantly...(since I lost...) Rick Monday got HBP. If you think his bruise will last a while...the one he left on Expo Fans has lasted over 40 years!!

Sorry that you still feel blue. I rooted for your Expos (but not your Nats).
