I have never had any issues in the past with USPS until I moved to my current address. My neighborhood has one of those central mailbox locations where each house has it's own mailbox slot. Not even counting regular mail, there have been 4 confirmed occurrences of packages being delivered to the wrong mailbox. Luckily my neighbors who have received the packages have been nice enough to deliver them to our door. And I know for sure that two of those instances were delivered to different neighbors.
About a week ago, I submitted an online complaint because a package (actually part of a trade here) was delivered to the wrong address. I didn't have the tracking number at the time, but I found out afterwards that they were delivered to them a week earlier. I looked up the tracking once they brought the package to us.
Now today, we have another package showing delivered with no package or key in our mailbox. So this is the 2nd time in the last month. I submitted another online service request, this time stating that the package is currently missing.
I tried contacting the local post office, but the phone just kept ringing. On top of all this there has been many times I get other people's mail and have had to leave a sticky note on it saying it was the wrong mailbox. Who knows how many regular pieces of mail I haven't received that I am not aware of. Any ideas on what could be done to solve this issue? It has gotten to the point where I am expecting important packages and mail not to be there when I check the mail.
