Can't let it go, that Ross was imitating how Kyle Busch raced at that stage in his career....
Fast and out of Control..... At least he recognized he didn't make any friends.....
The Xfinity race in Portland was rediculous....
Made an Early truck race at the oval in mid-90s, but was moving in '99 when the trucks
did the road course....
Put cicanes 1/2 mile or so from start/finish is not my idea of making for a good race, especially in the rain....

No Cup or Xfinity race this weekend....
Not to excited about the Truck race....
SRX returned Sat, caught some of it... Not great but seeing
the veterans was worth it....
TV coverage jumps from Fox to NBC/USA... See how that goes.....

I enjoyed the SRX race when I finally watched it this afternoon. Lots of different leaders and they get a 1st time winner in the series even though he raced all of last season (Helio Castroneves). Oddly, I got to see a lot of racing today with no Cup race taking up much of my time. I didn't watch SRX last night b/c I was watching a Cardinals baseball game and it's rare that I get to see them on TV here. Plus, they beat the Red Sox pretty good and keep the lead in their division. Before I watched the SRX race this afternoon, I caught the last half of the F1 race up in Montreal. Then I watched the SRX race, but b/c of a duplicate title my DVR also recorded the Nitro RallyCross Electric event in England today. So I watched that after the SRX race. I haven't watched the trucks race on dirt in Knoxville yet, but might start it later tonight. So it's been a pretty entertaining day of racing when I really didn't expect it to be. I am ready for the Cup race in Nashville on NBC next Sunday though.

Ya it sucks without yge cup guys racing. The Truck race was ok. Friesen was the show. The SRX is boring a bunch of guys that are to old to compete so they made their own series. I found it lacking alot of excitement. The F1 was om but after 2 laps unless something happens. You know where everyone is gonna finish.
So glad they are back next week

I was going to watch the Truck race until I saw it was a remote booth. Nope. Not watching that. It helps when these people are actually at the track and calling the race.

Caught a story about the 62's crash....
Had flipped off during a commerical,
came back to them pulling the truck off the berm....
Apparently, she flipped the truck...
Cameras and broadcasters seem to have missed it totally....
Someone in the stands posted a pic of it in the air....
Can't wait for Fox to be away from broadcasting races....

I have to give my two cents on this.
I am good with a Chicago street course race.
BUT!!!!
Not at the expense of Road America.
If NASCAR wants to take away a road course race. Take away the damn Indy Road Course and race the oval. Then with that the drop a race date at either Kansas or Darlington.

I would love to see them come up here to Toronto and run the street course, Has always been one of the best street courses.
But I agree Get rid of one of the tracks that has 2 races. Dont need to get rid of a track that only has 1

There is no way that NASCAR ever drops a 2nd race at Bristol or Martinsville from the Cup schedule. Probably not dropping Daytona and Talladega either. I'd be fine with 32 different tracks and going back to the finale being a track that is only raced once a year (just not at Miami). I agree about Indy though, drop the RC and go back to the oval. I'm glad they dropped the Daytona RC and a 2nd Pocono race this year to add WWTR and Road America. I don't like the final race being in Phoenix either since it's not usually an interesting race there anyway. But NASCAR is kind of limited to where the final race can be held in November based on weather. It's really just the southwest or southeast US, maybe Texas would work too. I do want them to move the All-Star race out of Texas Motor Speedway though. I don't think the ASR racing there has been as good as at Charlotte, but I'd be open to it being at different tracks each year.
As for SRX, I love it! I don't care if most of them are too old to still be racing where they were years ago, but that's also not true. Castroneves and Kanaan were in the Indy 500 this year. Newman was in NASCAR last year and only left b/c Keselowski basically bought his car. Most of the regular drivers in SRX are still racing other cars, just not in Cup or IndyCar. I think Waltrip, Tracy and Bill Elliott are the only ones that aren't racing in any other series. Smoke will race any thing at any time, Labonte is racing Modifieds, Francis is racing different stuff too. Biffle has been racing other stuff as well. I also like when they do a father-son deal like with the Elliott's (last year and again this year) and with the Blaney's this year. Plus, adding in drivers like Kenseth, Deegan, Marco Andretti and Hunter-Reay to the mix for a race or two (or three) makes it more fun. SRX is all about the driver skills as every car is exactly the same. This new NASCAR car is trying to get to the same level and it has for the most part so far.
Lastly, FOX is by FAR the best network at covering any type of racing. NBC is okay and they are way better than CBS and TNT ever were. ABC/ESPN isn't too bad now, but they were not good when they had NASCAR races. BTW, my local FOX station (WGHP8 in High Point, NC) is the highest-rated NASCAR broadcaster in the entire US.
