For me, it's either the '87 Topps Traded #70T Greg Maddux RC or the '89 Topps #328 John Smoltz RC.
Pulled the '88 Glavine RC from a vending box earlier this year, and want to go for the RCs of the Big Three. Unfortunately, since the Maddux is in a Traded Set there is not the thrill of the chase, so I might just trade for it unless I find a great price. Will probably buy a box of '89 for the chance of the Smoltz, if I can find a good deal.
Great Question, Brett, and welcome!

Before I post mine I just have to say that I feel great (and blessed) that I actually own a couple that have been mentioned: 1975 Brett and 1969 Reggie.
For each sport:
- 1951 Bowman #305 Willie Mays RC
- 1970-71 Topps #123 Pete Maravich RC
- 1961 Fleer #41 Don Meredith RC
- 1960-61 Topps #14 Stan Mikita RC

My most desired card is easily a card for my Matt Kenseth PC. It is his 1992 Hot Shots ARTGO card. That is the only year that I don't have a card of Kenseth of all the years that he has had cards made, therefore making it my most desired card at the moment.

Matt Kenseth card collection is nearing 50% with over 2300 different cards. Always looking for the missing remainders to get to 100% completion.

I'll go with any of the 2014 Mookie Betts rookie cards. Completing that Red Sox team set is tougher than the '72 or '73 ones!

Mine would be a Connor McDavid 15/16 SP Authentic #226, a Nolan Ryan 68 Topps RC or just about any McGwire.auto/jersey card.
I may never get any of those but thanks to trades with Hawkking I was able to check off the 71 Ryan Topps card off my list and Lawsgt sent me my first and only Big Mac memorabilia card.

'75 Topps Yount - have been wanting this one since my collecting days during the junk wax period. After a long hiatus, getting the itch again after getting a free Topps Now Card from checking in with the Ballpark App recently (crazy how this hobby has changed), and finding this site looking forward to purchasing one. I just need to find one at a local shop as I prefer those over ebay!
