Thanks Kaline6.  USPS and Canada Post are no different than any other large organization.  I was (am) in the RCAF; we have many who care and we have many who care only about themselves. From your previous posts, I know you care very much and take pride in your work as a mail carrier.  Thanks for all you do in these less than ideal times.  And yes, hopefully all the back log does eventually get sorted and delivered as we get back to somewhat normal. I have one that is 11 months in transit.

My tracked packages that I send from home usally have not trading info until it in receivers area .  Here is one of my latest ones.  I live in Philadelphia area  and they live across the state near Pittsburgh

Glad to hear i'm not the only one having issues with Philly mail service.  I live up the road from you in Ridley Park and often had missed mail and tracking issues.  Usually is not until i submit a claim then it magically appears a day or two later. 

An update to the (anticipated) delivery of this trade.  The tracking system had finally been updated a couple of weeks ago.  It had made its way from Illinois to San Francisco (through how many centers, we do not know) but yesterday it is now showing as having arrived in a Canadian facility (not sure if it is the one near Toronto or in Vancouver). 10 weeks and counting.... Patience.

And it has finally arrived, May 4 to July 16 to get to a Canadian facility, 5 days to get to my mailbox.

Amazing Bruno; I have a (sort of) different circumstance - after winning an auction over 2 weeks ago, the bulk of winning lots from said auction was sent to a USPS facility in NY state and my package has been sitting for the last 10 days marked as 'package acceptance pending'.

This apparently means the entire lot was marked as received, but my specific mailer has not yet been bar-coded.

I'm less than 2 hours away, and could have picked up the item the day after payment cleared (if the AH allowed it).

What's frustrating is that payment is due within 7 days of the auction ending - now I have to wait it out while all the other parcels are being tended to.

ComposerMike - I have learned from this site and trading to have plenty of patience.  I have seen packages get to cross-border destinations in less than a week and others take 8 months.  The frustration we experienced with thisone was that for the longest of time it showed as "In-Transit" and no one could / would help the sender in locating it (I can't as I am not in the States).  We finally had an update on the Tracker though it showed the tour of the USA the package was getting.  Then the last one was that it had fially crossed the border.

Your situation seems to be more of a handling of the package to get it on its journey.  But in the end, patience is required.  I have learned 2 weeks is good, 3 weeks is frequent, 4 weeks happens, and then the true excessive times happen once in a while.
