I have a very close friend that left last Saturday from here to visit her mother in Switzerland. She was supposed to return home this Saturday but with the new travel ban from Europe she is trying to arrange a flight to come back earlier. Earlier on I was doing many of the things to protect my family from the spread of the disease but truly didnt think of the impact because it happened to people I was involved with. However to have a friend possibly stranded for 30 days without knowing what is going to happen next is very frightening to me.
I can only pray that God is protecting her and others and their families from this disease and that the impact on their lives is not devastating. I know God is in charge and we should be turning to whichever higher power you believe in and asking for this disease to stop. I know my friend doesn't care if basketball seasons are lost or teams are playing in front of empty sets. Her getting home safe is much more important.

And Hollywood doesn't want to see the theaters close up, need the money from ticket sales. Pretty hypocritical of them if you ask me.

I’d stick with the 80’s stuff. I don’t think that Uv coating is going to be very effective

Sports entertainment, doesn't count per se. Plus with everything else shutting down they very well may be next. NASCAR is doing their next 2 races without fans also.

And MLB just postponed everything too. So all major sports are now shut down in the US, almost all college events and down the line it goes...

I teach in Ontario. We are due to start March Break (Spring Break) next week. Province announced earlier about 2 hours ago that schools will be closed for 2 additional weeks after that.

NOT THE XFL? At least it was nice to see all the players getting paid and benefits for the rest of the season. Also nice to see Kevin Love give 100K to help support the arena staff laid off for the time being.
AEW moved their show to their home base next week, I'd say WWE won't be far behind either moving Wrestlemania and doing shows at their performance center, or even having shows only open to their staff. I'm curious how ESPN will fill all their time now.
