This is because there are still too many people out there taking this too lightly. This is no joke people. Now it's starting to get infect fmaily members of the people we know (and even a couple people we know) here in the area.
Stay home, unless you must go out. Keep a safe distance. Don't touch things. If you do, wash thoroughly or anti-bac gel. Schools are not allowed to open on NY state until at least 4/15. There were 2 schools still in session in Rockland County, NY this week. Police had to shut them down. People think they are above the law. Terrible. We have a very good friend of ours who was just told by her doctor that she needs to go to the hospital. She was swabbed on Mon or Tues. Still awaiting her results. A former co-worker of mine just got out of the hospital. He was in last weekend. So much trouble breathing he couldn't speak. Thankfully he's better and should recover.

Reports are starting to come in that Advil or anything with ibuprofen, used for pain relief, actually feeds the virus if you have it!

A week ago this was reported as a possibility. I stopped taking it then.

Well go figure, it IS real eh. Hey you few nay sayers and the skeptics, how does it feel to be #1. More cases than all of China!!! 1.3 billion people told to lock down or your not gonna like the consequences. It worked. USA .......... screw it, its spring break, its lawn bowling semi finals, its ........................... Thank god most are coing around. But stupidity and ego (both inside the White House and out) has made this happen. Plain and simple. Oh yeah any reservists out there, be careful your dear leader seems to think our border needs to be guarded by your military. All of the "bad" people can just walk through now, there is just too many of them trying to come here he says, on the record. With that I shall wander along.

First, wouldn't trust anything coming out of China. Second, President Trump did not make this happen. But I will agree a lot of people are taking this pretty lightly. Looking out my window at a major corridor in Northern Virginia, lots and lots of people out and about. Not sure where everyone is going, schools are out and restaurants are closed. Number of positive cases in the area have doubled in the last day, mainly because of more testing. People treating this like a vacation. I predict it will continue to get worse with no end in sight unless people change their behavior--or everyone gets infected.

This thread is a perfect example why I can never get to the point of being an active member in this community. If some of you can’t be civil and respectful at a time like this, then why would I want to associate with you when life gets back to normal? Seeing how this is a website dedicated to a hobby, it’s pretty sad. Enjoy your family and friends a little more and I’m all for a feature to turn off the forums on accounts. It’s the worst feature on this site, in my opinion.
