I got a box of Colorized Baseball Quarters and these cards came with each quarter. I haven't been able to find them on the database anywhere. Should they be on here or not, if they aren't on here already?

I had not seen that particular item before so I thought I would look it up. I haven't collected coins ever, but will say that hobby seems to have a number of interesting sets. Anyhow, in looking up your colorized baseball quarters, it noted the following:
* They were sold it packs or wax box
* There was a specific set to try and collect
* Each pack had a 2 sided baseball player trading card along with the quarter
My vote isn't worth much but sure seems to me they would belong on here.

The only problem might be getting a checklist for them. I have quite a few of them, but not all of them.

They should be here for sure, if a checklist can be found. 2007 was before the series ended so some states will not be represented.
Interesting that the quarter pictured is not colorized-it actually looks like the images the Mint released of them for publication.
I have a complete collection of State Quarters, although I'm looking for upgrades on a few of them. You can still complete them out of circulation, but finding a non-beat to heck Delaware is not easy at this late date. Hard to believe next year will be the 20th anniversary of the series. I remember when it started and how exciting it was to hunt for them back then.

VERY slow trading due to health problems. Not transferrable so safe to trade with, just moving is painful and can't always access the cards. I didn't know there were MLB connections to the State Quarters, even with the Colorized coins. I've stayed away from all of the colorized coins b/c that's just a cheap promotion of a good coin set to chase.
I individually collected the whole 50-State Quarter Collection from pocket-change and also acquired about a half-dozen or so uncirculated coins too. I also attempted to get all 6 of the US Territory coins, but am still missing the US Virgin Islands coin. I WAS working on the US Presidents Gold Dollar coins until my bank stopped putting those out when I'd cash/deposit my paycheck. I am STILL working on the US Parks Quarters though! I still have a running list of what I have and what I need for the Parks Quarters and the Gold Dollars.
Billy, I'll keep an eye out for a good Delaware one for you! Since my Mom is a mail carrier, she constantly comes to me to see if I need any of the quarters before she rolls them up. She always has coins in possession to give change on the mail route. PM me with info on any other coins you are looking to get in better quality. I'll do what I can to help.

During my Air Force years I travelled a lot to the USA and managed to collect all but 2 of the State quarters - Oklahoma and Florida. I even have the large 16"x13" folder / map to insert them all in. I do have eight of the next series that came out which pictured individual State sites such as Mount Rushmore and such.

I too was wondering why the coin is not colorized, but then I looked at the Merrick Mint link provided above. Apparently it is the obverse side that is 'colorized' with the player's portrait and info. Is the coin attached to the card?
I assume that the holder for the coin is a Kointain type of capsule since I can't see any plastic holder around it in the scan above.

Might be interesting deciding where to draw the line on these because the issuer appears to have sold them primarily as coins with the cards almost as an afterthought. The base set seems to be 36 coins with cards, and it looks like there is a parallel gold plated set. Those seem like they should be listed.
There are also less specific references to holograms and double sided Babe Ruth coins, with no clear indication if these have cards included, though I suspect at least the holograms did. Then there is a 5 coin Cy Young bonus set that does not seem to include cards.
I also saw a 15 coin gold legends set issued about the same time with similar packaging but no mention of cards, plus other player and team specific issues that have no cards. Looks like a job to sort all of that out, but I'm sure someone is up to the challenge.
