Prices are updated all the time:
1. Not sure how or when it happens (knows when it started but not how it keeps going on) but Sportlots prices are add all the time. That is why many member have seen their prices on their collections go down or up. (Mainly down). Not all of my cards I have purchased from Sportlots are added here. Not sure why as they have been purchased years ago.
2. There are some members that have pricing turned off as they do not believe it or want it.
3. There are some members that do a lot of adding prices by going to E-Bay or other sites and getting prices to be added. They are doing their best to keeping prices update on what they want updated.
4. There are members like me that add prices they paid for cards. Mainly for our information. Some of these prices may be way too high or low to what most think is a fair price. Yes I have gotten a lot of great deals but also paid way too much for some cards.
5. There may be some members going and finding sold cards just to bring prices here up or down, so they match more to what they think is fair.
There has been a lot of postings about prices, but they will keep coming. I have put in more than my 2 cents worth about it a lot of times. Members asked for downloads of prices from other sites but complained when Admin worked a deal with Sportlots. Because prices on their collections dropped.
As far as my 2 cents goes. I have asked Admin about putting a sticky posting about. Prices and for new members must read. I got turned down on both. Not his words but the way I take it: Members do not read the FAQ so why would they read these postings?
