Here's my story:

I collected baseball cards through the 1970s and into the 1990s, collated sets and owned more than 50,000 cards. Being a Walter Payton fan, I began adding Chicago Bears cards to my collection in the 1980s. When the market became flooded with new companies, sets and subsets in the early 1990s, coupled with buying formula and diapers for my first child, I could no longer keep up and stopped collecting. To my horror, I arrived home one day to discover that my now ex-wife had sold all of my baseball cards. All that remained were my Bears cards. So in 2017 I decided to get back into the hobby and spent two years completing my Bears vintage sets, minus the 1935 Nagurski. Since then I've been working the other direction, 1992 to present.

My goal is to build one of the more complete sets of Bears cards that you will find and with the number of cards and years that I've fallen behind, I will probably never catch up. But every time I open the mailbox to find cards it's like a mini Christmas morning.

I only collect Chicago Bears cards but have some extra odds and ends that I'm adding to the For Sale/Trade list. It's a work in progress.
