I noticed something new on my profile recently, something that I'm still looking for an explanation to: apparently members now have rankings. Mine says "Rookie." (I've been collecting for 53 years - and I'm a "Rookie"?!?) Could someone explain the echelons to me, as well as the criteria for each? (BTW - I know my status only concerns being on this site; I was only being a bit whimsical.)

I don’t know all the levels, but I’m pretty sure they’re tied to the site points you’ve accumulated

Pretty sure benchwarmer is next because that's where I was for a long time til I started doing some things in the site. Looks like 1000 points gets you to "star". I'm sure there are higher levels than that. 

Points / Status might have changed over time and not guaranteed to be accurate:

0 / Rookie
25 / Benchwarmer
50 / Player
100 / Starter
250 / Playmaker
500 / Veteran
1,000 / Star
2,500 / All-Star
5,000 / Superstar
10,000 / Hall of Famer
25,000 / Legend

I have 574 “points” am listed as a Veteran.

I'm a benchwarmer at 29 points, so either the list is off that was posted earlier, my posts/trades are counted, or they really need a third string catcher for the TCDB team and I'm it at the end of this virtual bench.

So it's not all about the size of your collection, but how you use it ...   

I made the HOF today. I'd like to thank........ myself for wasting so much time adding photos. 🤣
