Looking at getting a few PC cards graded, including a huge 1/1 I just hit in a break. For those of you that like to grade, what's your go to company? PSA, Beckett, other? I know there's so many options now.
These are PC cards at the moment, but when it comes time for my kids to deal with all this (and likely sell off), I apologize to them ahead of time lol.
That 1/1 is a horizontal card, I've seen a company that has sideways slabs? What are your thoughts?

I could probably buy the already complete sets cheaper somewhere else, but I like getting my maildays.

I always use PSA, but that's just my preference. I have always been pretty happy with them. I've had I'm guessing around 150 Cards graded with them. I can't think of one I wasn't satisfied with.

I've done a few orders with PSA. Resale seems to be the highest with them. Turnaround times have gotten better. I did an order of newer hockey and received a number of 10's. Did a second order of older cards and didn't fair as well. Be sure the card is dead nuts perfect if you are going to send it in. Plenty of Youtube videos about card investigation/prep.

Congrats on the hit!!
Obviously you can't go wrong with PSA. Especially when considering resale. I'm not huge on getting everything graded, but I do submit some of my own once in a while, and I've been doing some SGC recently for two reasons: 1 - I like the big numerical grade, it really stands out, especially a 10. 2 - I think the black in the slab is sharp.

I'm an SGC stan. PSA is great, and best for resale, obviously. But SGC's customer support is better, its prices are better, its slabs are more attractive, and the turnaround times are faster. (And don't quote me on this, but I believe there is evidence that they are the most accurate and consistent graders of the big 3.) For my PC, I will always go with SGC. Anything I wish to sell goes to PSA.

I use SGC , but I will also buy psa or bgs or gai if the price is right. As far as resale value SGC is catching psa

Got my collection kind of split up in 3 places in two seperate states. So I am willing to trade but might take me a bit to find the cards from my Trade / Sell list. So please message me first so that I can take some time to find the cards you would be interested in. Whether it's an hour or 2 months or etc. I would get back to you after locating the card or cards.

Personal opinion. Since they are going to be PC cards. I would go with a company that you like the slabs and how they look. When It comes to resale, no one knows who is going to be on top in 5, 10, or 15 years. I personally like the way that SGC slabs look. I would also look at going through a group submitter because they can help with price and prep with whomever you go with.

PSA surcharges id the card goes over a certain value, I find that cruel. Beckett does not but I think they are the most expensive. I sent 10 cards away at the Edmonton Expo and sent 7 to MNT (a proud Canadian company) and tried the TAG AI system out of Los Angeles for my McDavid, Drai and Landeskog. They only do 2000 and up and no acetate cards for now. Hope that helps. TAG and MNT were the cheapest by far.
