Has anyone encountered issues with sportslots? Made a purchase and cards came in timely manner....but not the cards I ordered. I informed the seller (maybe just a mixup?) The seller cast doubt on what I received and said the cards were still in transit? I gave him a rundown including the tracking number, but now Ive been ghosted by the seller (no reply in 4 days)

I've ordered from them quite often (usually commons that I need to complete team sets, etc.). Never really had a problem. In the 100+ purchases I've made, I only had one package with 2 cards that didn't arrive, and the seller immediately refunded the money. I guess you just got a bad seller. Since I've never had an issue, I'm not familiar with how good or bd their dispute resolution process is.

I havent really made that many purchases, but had 1 resolved quickly for non-delivery, 1 where the seller refused to refund shipping for non delivery, and this one where seller has ghosted me. Whats odd is that I paid for tracking on all 3 and havent had any issues when budget shipping was selected.

my experience is much like Glenn...many orders over many years and one or two rare problems.
if you create a case in the website, the site will credit you pretty quickly.
some sellers are faster than others in replying, but the site will stand behind any issues in the end.
if it is lower dollar issue, I would just consider it lost and move on and do not order from this seller, but order from others with no hesitation..

A few years ago I had an issue that was quickly resolved by the seller - wrong card advertised - and I used the system tools to set the resolution in motion. Other than that, great service and cards. Just received about 150 cards from a seller I'd never purchased from and I was very pleased. I hope to make more purchases soon.

Isolated case. That kind of things can happen to everyone (even here), but it is not typical of Sportlots sellers. I have more problems there buying from sellers (three or four in several years) who didn't responded to the request and Sportlots had to freeze their account and then refunds me.

Never bought with Sportlots before as I've mostly stuck to Comc. Are they similar sites in their execution? It just seems very early-Internet formatting

I could probably buy the already complete sets cheaper somewhere else, but I like getting my maildays.

I think sportlots is better for commons or lower value cards as shipping can be much cheaper. Sportslots give the option for direct shipping or holding in a "box". Sportlots typically has no pics, but youre not always "paying" sportslots to hold your cards,(using direct shipping) so i feel its more collector friendly than COMC (may be more suited for budget-minded collectors?) For the most part I havent had any issues, just this one seller being a goof.

i love sportlots and have placed over 500 orders through them, only a few have had any trouble and those were always quickly resolved, i did recieve someone elses order once by mistake, instead of my 1980s commons it was thousands of dollars of 1950s yankees, they were intended for some chief of police in tennessee somewhere, he still owes me a beer and some bbq....anyways 99.9 percent of the sportlots sellers are great in my experience....
