Saw this "RARE" Jose Uribe error card on Facebook Marketplace. I probably have at least 15-20 of these "rare" error cards. Wish I new the value before now! And if I'm going to pay that much shipping better be free.

Yeah, just a scammer hoping to attract someone who doesn't know it's a UER. Or they don't know the truth themselves.
But if your really looking, I'll sell you some at half the price he's asking for free shipping. Lol

This is funny because the 1990 Fleer Uribe was the original fake error card and now they are just saying that all of his cards are very expensive errors

Haha, this has been a meme for a while. Here is a link to a thread I created last year after posting one on ebay for $23,500 with an elaborate description proving that Jose Uribe was not of this world. Funny enough, a guy actually bought it from me for $3.50. This awesome because it made the card appear to have been sold on ebay for something close to $23,500.
Sadly, I stupidly did not save that description I spent hours on which was the best part of the whole thing, and the listing is long since gone from ebay. All I remember about it is that I somehow associated Uribe's stats with a prediction for the coming of Mike Trout and used Uribe's hometown zip code as some dumb cypher code that spelled words that could be loosely construed as predicting future baseball events.I had way to much time on my hands that summer.

Why would anyone spend $23000 for that card when there are plenty listed between $2000 and $5000 ?

Awesome, with a booming 3 feedback. Sellers other offerings include highlights of the 1988 Tiffany set for a couple hundred bucks a piece.

Wow man! I am sitting on a gold mine! I have 4 of these in my doubles! Calling boss next to tell him to take this job and shove it! Then going to enjoy some online gambling!

If I remember correctly the original massive sale of this card was proven to be a money laundering scheme.
