Andy, that was my photo mailer that traveled from Indiana to SoCal in 4 days.  And yet a Priority Mail package containing a legal document with a travel distance of 5 miles has been stuck "In transit" for 13 days.  I sent a bubble mailer of cards to Hawaii last week that arrived in 2 days.  I appreciate the strain the system is under even if I can't make sense of it.

I've been to the Carmel post office. Mailed a couple of trades from there back in the old Trader Retreat days. It was on the way to my former NASCAR diecast dealers' location so I used to pass it at least once a month. 

My dad was a postal worker 30+ years, and I'm an eBay OG going back to '99, so I still have a lot of love for, and faith in, the USPS.

That said, I have had to refund a couple of eBay items in the last few months that I shipped PWE, although it looks like they did eventually arrive. I'm in the process of updating my eBay item discriptions now with a note about allowing up to two weeks for shipping to try to cut down on the risk of having to refund. I'll probably also increase the shipping cost on some single cards that I feel need a tracking number.

But, other than that, I'm going to keep on shipping and hoping that each item I mail helps a postal worker get, or keep, his/her job. The mail must go through! 

I too have been waiting on a box of cards. It was shipping from PA. For 6 days the tracking said it was in Warrendale, PA. Then all of a sudden at 3:30 AM this morning it finally updated. Its now in Billings, MT. 

I'm in Indiana. Why the f--- is it in Montana? Lmao.

I have turned off trading, and probaly will not turn it on again until mid January at the earliest. I may send out a few proposals to complete sets, but they are few and far between. 

update.  the mailman did not deliver my package today :(

according to the tracking #, the package was "delivered to an agent" for final delivery so now i do not have any tracking of the item!

I ordered a non-card item from a vendor in Tennessee (I'm in PA). I paid for two-day USPS delivery so that I could be sure I have it before this coming Saturday. It shipped about a week ago, and I still don't have it. The USPS online tracking system also seems to be down, and with the storm coming today, I'm not sure I will see my package any time soon. Even with two-day delivery the original tracking said it wasn't going to be until the 14th. On the 14th it started saying it will be delivered later. Now it's in the void somewhere.

They need a break. They lost my Update set and I'm out the money for it. They marked it as delivered, but was not actually delivered to my location. Both eBay and USPS refused to refund as the package was marked "Delivered". They can come inspect my apartment, guarantee they won't find it. I have another purchase coming from under 100 miles away that has taken more than a week and still hasn't arrived. Tracking has it at the mail facility that is like a 10 minute drive from my place.....

No problems here to and from Texas as pwes are arriving within a week and tracked packages within 3-4 days. The usual delay mailing to Canada, but that's pre-2020 conditions.
