This forum is for broad discussions of collecting. Threads relating to a specific set, person or team should be created on that set, person, or team's page.
If I'm right the formula is: Base set + ERR/VARs[both as listed] = Total; BUT then - CORs of the ERR/VARs[as calculated]. This SHOULD = The Master Set. NO Promos, Specials Related Cards etc. are counted....and That works out !
BUT
OK, as I said previously, some sets are off by 1 or 2 cards in my collection. When I have time, I 'll have to investigate why or message ADMIN. Why does my collection show more cards?
But, Before I go crazy, Does anybody else have this situation?
OK, my 1988 Topps looks good, unlike Hawkeye's. So whatever was done fixed it.
However, it begs to be asked? How many sets where the numbers do not match up are there?
Meanwhile, like I said, I only checked a few hi-err/var sets and there are no matches. We may have opened up a can of worms here.
My guess is as we add cards and sets etc, all members need to be vigilant across the board regarding this issue. Then Dan, What do you want members to do if the set numbers don't match as in the previous examples?
