Jim, if you do decide to come up north, feel free to give me a shout. (I was supposed to go to a show in Toronto today, but my car broke yesterday, so that will still be something I am looking to do)

That I can do. I've heard nothing but great things about the Toronto Expo. Going would knock off several items on my list on one weekend. See Toronto for the first time, (hopefully) meet several of the Canadian members here and finally hit up a large show that I haven't done since, like '94. The National is in Atlantic City this year, only 4 hours away from me but it'll be insane in there. I'll make the 8 hour drive to Toronto instead.

I would love to go to the National, but unfortunately I (unknowingly) allowed my passport to lapse, and with my work sched and budget, any travel that is not a day trip is off my schedule for right now. I have met up woth a couple of members here, and would love to keep meeting more people. Maybe closer to the show, we can get a forum thread going for those who would like to do a little meet-up!

I haven't been to the Toronto show since about...2003? Great time. The spring one is in a couple of weeks. Not going again! (My wife's birthday is the Saturday)

I'm mostly organizing over adding right now.

Just went to a show this morning. I pretty much keep to myself, but it doesn't seem to crazy up here with flippers and the like. There are some guys asking way to much, but most are willing to entertain offers.
I just set myself a budget, and stick to it. Today I was even under budget, I didn't allow myself to get carried away (although I easily could have). In and out in just over an hour.

I could probably buy the already complete sets cheaper somewhere else, but I like getting my maildays.

I been collecting for 34 years now and i never been to a show maybe one day i can go to one
i also dont like crowds and when i go to a restaurant by back is always facing the wall and i can see who cone in and out. Even before it was legal to carry a gun i always carried one in a restaurant or store. I rather be prepared for things and have it and not need it rather not have it and need it.
