On the user's profile, under "Feedback", you'll see a green button that says "Add Feedback".
There, you can leave a negative (as you should; thank you for trying to warn others about a potentially bad experience) with a detailed explanation.

I'll never quit collecting entirely, but I am downsizing. Check out my COMC store and help me thin out what I don't want so I can buy cards that I do want. See something you like? Send me a message on here, and we can knock the price down quite a bit. I'll even take a bit of a loss if it means getting you a card you really want.

I completed a small trade with him in December. It did take him a longer than usual time to send, so hopefully you'll eventually get your cards.

Hopefully that member hasn't gotten very sick or worse? It seems more typical that when a trade goes wrong we hear how the other owner has still logged in but hasn't responded in attempts to communicate.

him getting ill or a family member getting ill is certainly a possibility, i have googled like i have never googled before to see if his name or a family name popped up anywhere, but i see nothing, so i am left with the assumption that he's just bailed

Nowadays I'd err on the side of caution and would have given him more time. Without him signing on you have very little to go on, but had he continued logging into the site and not responded, then a totally different story.
I've had three trade partners since the year began that have come down with covid.

Sounds like it's unusual for this memeber to go MIA. I hope they are OK. Given the pandemic we're still in, I'd give it some extra time. As mentioend before, this would be a totally different thing had they kept active on the site and ignored only you.

I do think you have waited long enough and I don't find issue with the negative feedback. The member has the opportunity to return and post hay, I was in a coma for all of January if that is the case.

Google search their name and add (in city and state) and or (living in city and state) sometimes adding living will give you other listings. You have their address, so you have that info. You can also add his complete address, but that usually does not help. Because it will add anything about the address to the search list and you're looking for info about them, not the address. But if they sold the house they live in you will find that into or god forbid a fire listing for the address. Ok (name, city & state) search will give you a list of pages that have them. You can find out things this way. Hopefully, you don't find an obituary listing or a funeral service listing.
A month is a good time to wait. I think you did the right call on the feedback. It can always be changed or removed if they come back and you receive their cards.

What is that behind you!?! Oh, It's me! Looking at the cards you have, That I want. :)
