I am working on my set of football 1990 Score - 1000 Yard Club and there is alot of VAR and i need to know what is Disclaimer on back is and what does Asterisk mean please help me so i mark the right cards

I'm not a football collector, but I'm almost 100% positive that Topps had the disclaimer back, not Score.

Dan, you probably meant Topps since the 1000-yard series is theirs.
Basically there's a Topps set that had the disclaimer that the NFL does not authorize the set written in the back, and another without it. Then there are sets with one or two asterisks on the back.

They are Topps. 4 Var Score does not have 1000 Yard Club.
The * is in front of the copy right line.

Early 90's Topps sets had printing differences throughout there sets like an astericks in front of the copyright line or a C or D in the copyright right. There are strange creatures on this site called VAR collectors. They suffer from an affliction that forces them to chase after these printing variations and try to complete a master set. If your happy with having one of each card in the set and dont care about minor copyright line differences then just do that and ignore the VARs. However if you are putting these card on your For Sale trade list it is proper ettiquette to identify which one you have and select the correct one so there is no confusion
