Bernie is truly one of the great "unsung Heroes" of RED SOX Legends! This first card of His that I inventoried for my PC is autographed.

UER - name on front is "Gill."

UER - ineligible player listed on back (Rich Reese did not have enough ABs).
Smith and Oliva switched on back - Smith's AVG higher by one percentage point.

Fuentes' first start was on Sept. 8th. His first appearance was an inning on Sept. 1st.

50 yr old card, not perfect but a nice card.

Anyone else have a version of this card with a distinctive orange (not red) circle on the front?

According to Baseball Reference, his first official at bat for the Cardinals resulted in a 3-run homerun, not a grand slam.

UER - like most of his Topps cards, his birth year should be 1905.

I have an interesting version of this Seaver card. It has Dave Giusti (#372) on the back (error card). I bought it new in 1970. There were 2 other cards in the pack similarly miscut. Only one in the world.
