Just dipping my toes back in after being a retired junk wax baseball kid growing up. I'm mainly focusing on football now, and PC'ing Ohio State Rookie/College cards.
I'm mainly a set collector, so I don't mind figuring out a balance to trade inserts for base, but I will try to keep it roughly balanced. I don't live or die by comps, but generally I'll consider base to usually be "base", and then some blend of recent sales and the Buy It Now prices for anything else. Go big enough and I start seeing base-for-base as a wash, unless it's some obvious exception/RC/etc.
Love to trade, love to do BIG trades, always feel comfortable throwing those my way - I will try to monitor and withdraw my proposals after a week if I don't hear anything - no hard feelings and always happy to revisit, just been really active and I've found it can get confusing quickly if you've got a lot pending on the board.PRIORITY TRADE TARGETS - will absolutely trade for other stuff, but if you have these, I'll be looking at them first!

- Panini Luminance Football - trying to build the sets the hard way, piece by piece!

MAIN PC FOCUS
- Football
- Ohio State Buckeyes - College Jerseys and NFL RCs, will also look at cool inserts and anything fancy during their NFL career, but not trying to do a full career set on all of them. Bonus points for anything Steele Chambers (family friend - planning to be the top Steele collection on here - help me out!) or Maurice Clarett (played against him in HS)
- Pittsburgh Steelers - specifically Ben Roethlisberger (including ANY Miami U. cards - we were the same year in Oxford), Troy Polamalu, and James Harrison. Just like with OSU, I'll look at other stuff, but not my main focus.
- Baseball
- Eric Davis - specifically in a Cincinnati Reds uniform (including the reprint/throwbacks Topps has done more recently), my first ride-or-die favorite player, literally still why I use 44 in my handle 30+ years later.
- Basketball
- I have SOME interest in Duke basketball cards, or Duke alums, or specifically Terence Dials, who played at OSU and in Europe (and also on my basketball team in middle school)...there's not much out there for him.
OTHER COLLECTIONS
- Football - I love the college cards, so I'm regularly going to be trying to get the Prizm Draft and Bowman U sets if I think I hit critical mass enough to complete them (otherwise will trade from them). I specifically love the Bowman homage cards to the 1950s - that whole insert set they do each year looks so freaking cool, definite must get for me.
