Back in the day, I had to narrow my horizons, to about 80% baseball, certain parallels (silver, gold, artist proofs, museum, starburst, 1st day productions, rainbow, electric diamond, medallion, press proofs, etc.  In addition, the years 1992 to 2000 (for the most part) and the low numbered cards (first number in front of the " / " must be a low number below "20".  Normally, anything from 01/**** and or 0001/**** and would take that all the way up to 20/****.  Hence, the year may very well and often does go past the year 2000.  I also look for same numbers Left / Right on numbed cards, i.e. 9/9, 50/50, 888/888, 1150/1150, etc.  The remaining 20% of my focus goes to the other Sports and even Non-Sports.

If I had to pick a favorite, it would have to be the 1997 Donruss Power Alley insert cards.  But still, my feet remain on the ground even with these cards, so the price would still have to be right, (consistent with other purchases I've made).  Since, I have so many of these, it's rather easy to stay grounded, because I actually have them all.  Presently, trying to get the set in slabbed form.  Getting pretty close to completion.
