Steelers are my main focus. Pirates & Penguins will always have one or two team sets in the works as well.

Any Rocky Bleier not already in pc, happy to trade heavy for.

Grew up in Three Rivers Stadium. Collecting is about the memories for me.

Always happy to trade no matter if it's big or small. Same town or different continent, all good. A great way to help one another.

Steelers team set completion help of any year.

Pirates 1971 to 1991. Few modern team sets

Pens 1976 to 1993. Few modern team sets

Want list is being trimmed down slowly. Listing more.. most from small box sets & pack rips, conditions will be very sharp.

Happy to trade heavy if you close out a Steelers team set.

1989 Pro Set FB has a handful of VARs missing. Willing to purchase or trade heavily to complete.

Small sets & packs for trade:

**packs & box sets need sorting, will have list up soon.
~ Retail boxes are always changing. Currently 88 Topps baseball Coins; 87 Bball Sportflics set; 90-91 OPC hockey wax; 90-91 Topps Hockey sealed set; 91-92 pro set French wax; 91 pro set platinum fb series 1 & 2 wax; 91 pacific fb.. few left of 99-00 upper deck McDonalds retro hockey & few blister hangar packs left of 08-09 upper deck series 2.

Please feel free to drop a line if any are of interest, happy to trade.

Miscellaneous:

•Framed displays of favorite players & favorite cards + memorabilia have been made with my nephew, long distance from back home in Pittsburgh. Below is a link to photos of a few of the 60+ we've made & a 2nd link for where the nameplates came from. If not the best plates around for best prices, made by a good individual? No chance I'd have the links up. Anyone who may be interested, take a look & drop either Mike or myself a line. Why keep your pc tucked away when it can be easily mounted, safely, & to see daily. I hate promoting. Whole experience over the past couple years is simply worth it.

Thank you.

My card collection finally feels like it has a direction.

Focusing on Hall of Famer Rookie Cards, with auto is a plus.

Still have Personal Collections, preference towards non-base, of:

  • Randy Moss
  • Thurman Thomas
  • Reggie Miller
  • Mario Lemieux
  • Random Insert/Subsets from 90s
  • West Virginia Players Rookie/Autos

However, that means I’m looking to downsize significantly. Everything on my sale list OR own list is up for trade or sale. But obviously if I haven't listed it I prioritize it a little higher.
Make an offer!

My preference is to trade many many commons for even single want. Let me know if your interested in a lopsided deal (as far as # of cards)

I have a bunch of vintage sets to my for sale list  let me know what you are interested in and we can work something out! I’m having a lot of trouble valuing these mentally, but I’ll listen to your thoughts as well.

If you're ever unhappy with the cards you receive, let me know and we can work something out. I try not to send anything out that I wouldn't be OK receiving so let me know if something slipped through the cracks.

I love this site and community!

HOW I APPROACH TRADING:

  • Please understand when trading with me with that value is in the eye of the beholder, not necessarily what eBay says.  I do, however, understand when buying or selling that some basis of value needs to be applied.
  • My priority is growing the quantity of my collection, not necessarily the value of my collection.
  • If I have something you want, and you have something I want, let’s make it work.
  • I do my best to make trades even, but I don’t research the sale price of every card for every proposal I make.  Please don't get offended if I make an offer where the value is in my favor. I'm not trying to rip you off; I just want to make trade.
  • My offers are always negotiable.  If you aren't happy with an offer, please counter before declining.
  • If I decline a trade, I will always provide a reason.  Please, Please, Please offer me the same courtesy.  I really hate feeling like my offers are just ignored.
  • If you decline a trade with a response of values are a little off, I probably won't offer again.  It's not how I look at trading.
  • This is a hobby to me, not a business.  I'm not looking to make money and I know that my hobby will cost me money.  That said, I don’t understand the response it's not worth the postage.  If you aren't making a trade because of the cost of a stamp we are in this hobby for different reasons and probably won't make greatest trade partners.

TRANSACTING WITH ME:

  • Packaging: I prefer PWE.  I package trades up 6 cards in semi-rigid holder(s) with first class stamp.  Over 6 cards will be shipped in 9 pocket pages with cereal box cardboard.  Anything over 27 cards will ship BMWT.  I try to review packaging expectations before proposing a trade, but if you are particular with packaging, please make me aware before we both accept a trade.  If your packaging expectation isn't stated in advance, I'm packing how I see fit.
  • Shipping: I make regular trips to the post office and will attempt to mail things out the day after they are accepted.   I will only ship PWE internationally, not interested in filling out customs forms.
  • Trading: I don't have any restrictions on trades.  No minimums or maximums on cards in or out.  I'll do big lots for small lots or small lots for big lots.  I'll trade between eras and between sports.  I'll do inserts for commons or commons for inserts.  I just want both sides to feel like they've improved their collection when our trade is done.
  • Buying: I'm open to buying only add to my Ripken collection.
  • Selling: Will sell anything on my trade list for a reasonable price.

COLLECTING INTERESTS:

Primary PC - Cal Ripken Jr. (TCDB #6): My primary collection; I've been a collector since I was a kid.  I'll trade for anything I don’t have regardless of whether it's on my want-list or not.  I will trade from this collection, so long as I have the same number or more cards coming in as I do going out.  I'm selective on what I'm willing to deal from this collection based on how difficult it would be to replace it.

  • Always building the 2007 HOF insert sets:
    • Ultra Iron Man (complete)
    • SPx Iron Man (complete)
    • Upper Deck Commemorative (complete)
    • Upper Deck Ripken Chronicles (complete)
    • Upper Deck Road to the Hall (w/Gwynn) (complete)
    • Upper Deck Iron Men (w/Gehrig). (complete)
    • Spectrum Road to the Hall (74/100).

Secondary Orioles Collections:  I do cycle cards in and out of these collections, especially for current players.  If there is something you like here, message me and we may be able to work something out.  My want-list is small and I only collect base set and color variations, particularly orange or black parallels.  I am open to trading for stuff not on my want-list to facilitate a trade.  I do not chase inserts for this collection unless it’s an auto or relic card.

  • Secondary PCs (all O's uniform only, except rookies)
    • Brady Anderson
    • Gunnar Henderson
    • Jackson Holiday
    • Adam Jones
    • Manny Machado
    • Trey Mancini
    • Nick Markakis
    • Cedric Mullins
    • Eddie Murray
    • Mike Mussina
    • Jim Palmer
    • Boog Powell
    • Brian Roberts
    • Brooks Robinson
    • Frank Robinson
    • Grayson Rodriguez
    • Adley Rutschman
  • Top 50 Players; ranked by W.A.R.: Rookie cards for the 50 players (49/50), only missing Hoyt Wilhelm.  Check out my list!
  • Rookies:  Looking for major release, base set only, with RC/FS/FC/etc logo.
  • Minor Leaguers: I tend to only keep one card per player.  So, these are not available, although I may be open to a deal involving the same player.

Baseball Stars & HOFers: Unless you’re offering a better/older card of the same player, these aren't available.  I'm always interested in acquiring a card of a great baseball player, whether or not they are on my want-list.  Condition (on vintage) outside of creases and rips doesn't matter to me.  I'm more interested in the historical than monetary value for this collection.

1992 Topps Baseball: It may be the epitome of junk era cards, but this was the set that got me into collecting.  I built the set as a kid and its one of only 2 complete sets I have. Collection includes:

  • 1992 Topps (792 cards)
  • 1992 Topps Traded (132 cards)
  • 2012 Topps Archives (6 cards)
  • 2013 Topps Archives (3 cards)
  • 2017 Topps Archives (100 cards plus 6 SSP variations)
  • 2021 Topps Update Redux (50 cards)
  • 2022 Topps Archives (25 cards)
  • 2022 Topps Archives MLD autographs (15 cards).

Football and Hockey:  Buffalo Bills, Washington Football, and Buffalo Sabres cards.  Feel free to offer me anything I don't have, particularly off-base cards.  No college jerseys.  If you want something from me and we don't have any matches, feel free to offer me stuff from these teams.

  • Football and Hockey PCs:
    • Josh Allen (TCDB #24)
    • Sean Taylor (TCDB #6)
    • Chris Cooley (TCDB #4)
    • Paul Gaustad (just starting)

Non-sports: This collection is used to catalog my 90's Marvel sets.  None of this available.  If you are looking to trade and can't find matches, my kids are into Pokémon and I'll trade for insert cards (EX, GX, V, MAX, etc..) for them.

I keep up with the base Topps and Donruss baseball sets.

I also enjoy collecting oddball baseball sets.  My current focus is on the following:

    • Starting Line Up cards (not the figures)
    • Sponsored team sets like Police, Fire Safety, Kahn's, Coke, etc.
    • Updating my Hostess box panel cards (individuals)

I am always looking for cards that I do not have of the following Hall of Famers.  Serial numbered cards less than 100 are not on my want list but I am still interested.

    • Frank Thomas (White Sox only)
    • Carlton Fisk (Red Sox or White Sox)
    • Ernie Banks (Mr. Cub)

    PLEASE READ

    CARD CONDITION

I have removed all recent cards that are not NRMT or better from my inventory.  ExMt or better from 80's or earlier.  Anything less than ExMt will be specified and discussed before mailing.  In turn, I ask that you do not send me anything that does not meet these criteria.

    POSTAGE

I will send all cards in plain white envelope (PWE) unless agreed otherwise or if card values are high.  Mailing more than 18 cards may be split into separate envelopes.  I always buy postage at the post office and get a receipt so I have some kind of verification.

Single cards will go out in a toploader.  Multiple cards will go in a 9 pocket sheet, folded and placed between more rigid cardboard.  The goal is to keep it thin to keep it cheap and avoid package charges.

    TRADING

I use Beckett pricing to even up trades.  If you look up prices on Ebay, Sportlots or COMC, sell your cards there.

I collect football cards and wrestling cards.  I'm currently trying to work on a full run of Topps football sets from 1956 through 2015, a full run of Score football sets 1989 through the current year and completing a WWE wrestling set each year.  I'm also collecting one rookie card of all NFL players.

I'm looking to trade away all of my FS/FT list.  However, if you don't have anything on my want list, I'd gladly sell any card on my FS/FT list.

My main collecting interests are vintage cards,  Minnesota Twins,  a few newer sets and Bert Blyleven.

    Vintage sets:  1952 Topps, 1953 Topps, 1954 Bowman, 1954 Topps,  1955 Topps,  1956 Topps,  1957 Topps,  1963 Topps,  1967 Topps

Newer sets: 2004 Donruss,  2005 Donruss,  2012 Cooperstown.

    * I prefer not to trade vintage cards (below 1976) for newer cards.

    * Before delivering or accepting a proposal please make sure you have all of the cards.

    BIO

Thank you for your interest in my profile! My name is Jack and I'm a hobbyist & collector in southern NJ. I live in the greater Atlantic City area and am a lifelong supporter of Philadelphia sports franchises. I stepped away from the hobby for almost 30 years until my oldest son reignited my interest in mid-2023.

    ___________

    BASEBALL

My personal collection of sports cards & memorabilia is mainly baseball. Go Phillies! I'm a set-builder, through-and-through and I especially enjoy the chase of hunting the variety of parallels, refractors, and inserts in recent Topps and Bowman sets (i.e., from about 2020 onwards).

I'm just now starting to explore the vintage card space, as well, but am warming to it a lot more slowly, mainly due to my own ignorance. I'm considering making the 1953 Bowman Color set my White Whale; they're just so attractive to the eye. However, I'm working on the 1957 Topps set as a more accessible entry point into collecting sets from the era. Please feel free to offer up additional suggestions.

I'm less interested in junk wax, but don't hold me to that.

    ___________

    NON-SPORTS

A lot of my recent collecting has been focused on all manner of non-sports trading cards. I'm especially interested in products featuring characters from Marvel, DC, Star Wars, Star Trek: TNG, or anything tied to pop culture of past eras. I'm also really starting to enjoy historical sets. Finally, I'm a child of the '80s and '90s, so I have a soft spot for anything released from about 1975 to 2000, but I can also appreciate oldies, especially if it's film or television.

    ___________

    TRADING PHILOSOPHY

    • Will consider trades of all shapes and sizes
    • Will also consider any purchase offers made in good faith
    • Will trade and ship to all 50 U.S. states, U.S. territories, U.S. military POs, and Canada with limited exceptions
    • Will consider other international trades if responsibility for payment of shipping costs is agreed upon in advance
    • Will ship via PWE with 'Non-machinable' label and sufficient First Class Mail postage by default, unless weight/size restrictions prevent doing so
    • Will happily send via other methods (e.g., with tracking enabled) upon request, especially for high-value items; prior agreement on this point must be established before either party sends out their leg of the trade, else the above, default method will take precedence
    • Love the site's PIF mentality; I try to keep trade proposals balanced and kindly ask my trading partners to do the same
    • Communication is the key — please accept/decline proposals in a timely manner, convey information about delays or returned packages, or just tell me that life is getting in the way and you need a few days

Getting back into the hobby after ~30 years, which means the bulk of my current collection is junk era wax that includes a good number of HOF players as well as commons. I'd love to trade those to people that are looking to complete sets or collect their favorite team and/or player.

My personal collection is focused on Andre Dawson, Kirby Puckett, Dylan Cease, and any other White Sox (current or retired) players.

I have also started a new project to collect the 1975 Topps Chicago White Sox cards and added a few players with smaller card runs to my PC: Julio Cruz, Ron Karkovice, and Rudy Law.

Prefer to do smaller trades via PWE but am open to bigger trades too. Not looking to buy cards right now until I reduce volume on cards outside of my PC.

TCDB Rankings as of April 11, 2023:

    • Andre Dawson - #9
    • Dylan Cease - #3
    • Julio Cruz - #1
    • Kirby Puckett - #527
    • Ron Karkovice - #1
    • Rudy Law - #1
    • Chicago White Sox - #799

    *** Update - April 11, 2023 ***

I have now initiated the quest to begin set building and my focus will initially be on completing the Topps Flagship sets from the 1980's that I began collecting as a kid.

When proposing or reviewing trades, I am mostly looking for base for base trades. Trade offers skewed towards requesting parallels, inserts, SPs, etc. for a larger quantity of base will most often be countered or declined. I am open to cross-decade trades too, meaning I will send newer base for junk era base or vice versa depending on what we each need. Open to trades of all sizes that meet these criteria.

For vintage cards (pre-1980 for my purposes), I only trade vintage for vintage.

Thank you for reading and look forward to trading!
