I'm thinking about getting back into trading. It'll be a while though. I collect a lot of stuff, and space is becoming an issue. So I'm going to start deciding what kinds of cards I want to collect instead of just wanting everything. So as I sort through my collection, I'm going to start moving a lot to my FS/FT list. So when I get back to trading there will be a lot of good stuff in there. Keep an eye out.

Also not on my wantlist, but I'd like to get an autographed card of everyone in the WWE Hall of Fame, besides Trump.

Things I collect other than cards that you can sell me:

Music. I collect CDs, cassettes, vinyl, pretty much any type. I'm mostly into punk rock and ska, but will consider other stuff.

Magazines. I collect wrestling magazines mostly, but also anything featuring punk bands, horror stuff and Detroit Tigers.

Comics. This is my smallest collection. But if you're giving a deal I'm not that picky. 

Action figures. My main collection is WWF Hasbro figures. But I also like any of the wrestling figures made to look like the Hasbro line. I also like anything horror or Simpsons.

Wrestling and Horror DVDs and VHSs. I'm not super picky. If I don't have it I probably want it.

Books. Anything Wrestling, punk rock/ska, baseball or Goosebumps.

T-shirts. I wear medium and large. I'll take basically any of the genres I've already mentioned (wrestling, punk/ska, horror, Simpsons). But if you have t-shirts from the 90's, and aren't looking to get rich off them, there's a good chance I'm interested.

If you use eBay to comp the cards you want to sell or trade for, please DO NOT waste my time.

I collect any and all Braves cards from 1954 - Present (RIP Hank Aaron). If you use Beckett values to make an offer with me, don't bother. Their values do not represent real values!

I have decided to scale back from trying to collect every Braves card ever made and concentrate on the sets I like. Lately it seems to be next to impossible to collect team sets since there are so many inserts, VAR, SP, and just all to many brands. Topps has once again turned collecting into $$$ for them by making so many different brands. The cost to collect is getting to be very expensive and making me question the hobby again. I still plan on trading and looking for the cards I am still missing.

Willing to trade just about anything for Braves cards......

I am mostly looking to trade for Cansecos I don't already own. I'm not buying Cansecos -- I've spent way too much money on his cards as a kid -- unless someone offers me a bulk deal of 30+ cards at $0.25-$0.50 per card.  

Otherwise, I'll happily look at trades for vintage baseball, or any baseball.

I've been very blessed in my trades and transactions here on TCDB. Thank you to all. I will trade vintage for modern and vice versa as long as there is roughly equal value felt on both sides. I am a set builder and collecter. I do not speculate on my cards for future value. I do this for fun, not for profit. I will sell, but only to build a small bank of money to use for buying cards I can't trade for. I've traded hundreds of cards each way and I've done many 1 for 1 trades, so no trade is too big or small for me.

In packaging, I use painter's tape ONLY. I try to use a photo mailer for small trades of about a dozen or less.  I use #10 PWE for trades up to about 2 dozen cards and maybe 2 PWE for 4 dozen.  After 50 cards, I typically will use a bubble mailer with tracking.  If it is 200 or more cards, they will likely be in a box well padded.

I keep up with the base Topps and Donruss baseball sets every year.

I also enjoy collecting oddball baseball sets.  My current focus is on the following:

• Starting Line Up cards (not the figures)
• Sponsored team sets like Police, Fire Safety, Kahn's, Coke, etc.
• Oddball baseball sets that I do not have (licensed or not)

I am always looking for cards that I do not have of the following Hall of Famers.  Serial numbered cards less than 100 are not on my want list but I am still interested.

CARD CONDITION

I have removed all recent cards that are not NRMT or better from my inventory.  ExMt or better from 80's or earlier.  Anything less than ExMt will be specified and discussed before mailing.  In turn, I ask that you do not send me anything that does not meet these criteria. 

POSTAGE

I will send all cards in plain white envelope (PWE) unless agreed otherwise or if card values are high.  Mailing more than 18 cards may be split into separate envelopes.  I usually buy postage at the post office and get a receipt so I have some kind of verification.

Single cards will go out in a toploader placed upside down in a penny sleeve then taped.  Multiple cards will go in a 9 pocket sheet, folded and placed between more rigid cardboard.  The goal is to keep it thin to keep it cheap and avoid package charges.

TRADING

I leave trade proposals active for a month before I withdraw them.  Please be considerate and respond in a timely manner.

I use Beckett pricing to even up trades.  If you look up prices on Ebay, Sport lots or COMC, sell your cards there.

PLEASE READ!!!

if you send me cards that are not properly packaged (yup, that’s up for debate), I will leave you neutral feedback: I’ve got up over 400 completed trades here, and I’d consider about 25 of them safely packed. When I hit accept, YOU ABSOLUTELY HAVE MY WORD that your cards will be packed securely. When cards in are a nine place page, and you put tape across the top so the cards don’t fall out, that’s great: BUT, if you add an extra inch of tape, and fold it over itself, that leaves a “handle” to pull the tape. If the tape is just simply put over it and I have to use my fingernails to get the tape up, that leaves indentations on the card. That’s not okay. Please use penny sleeves on ALL cards. If you double up, that’s fine, but I’m not sending you scratched up cards, please don’t send them to me!!  I don’t find anything unfair about that. I promise VERY FEW people will send cards like I do. I don’t care about shipping costs (within reason):!

I mail on Wednesdays! Once I pull and pack, I mark it sent, for my records, but it won’t go until Wednesday, unless otherwise stated. I have no issue with trade partners waiting to send on Wednesdays also.

My main priorities of my collection are Michigan alum, regardless of the uniform.  I will take ANY card I dont already have of ANY Michigan alum in ANY sport.

TOM BRADY: I have recently added Tom Brady cards to my “ for trade list”.  These cards are for trade ONLY for Tom Brady cards I don’t already have!

I also enjoy putting sets together.

- Pittsburgh Pirate cards (looking to trade for those that I don’t have).  Ideally I can match up with other Pirate collectors and we can help each other out.  I have tons of Pirates items to swap: vintage, modern, parallels, inserts, odds ‘n ends.

- Vintage baseball from 1950 - 1978 (want lists and “to improve” lists…… my condition requirements / requests vary from set to set; I will list the condition of the vintage I’ve got on my trade / sell lists as my time allows)

-Select modern sets and singles (need some that are listed on my website, and others that aren’t listed; need others / have many listed on my website under “Available to Trade” and many others that aren’t list….. a work in progress)

-Most of my wantlists / upgrade lists are posted on my website.  Many other wants aren’t listed.  Over time I hope to transition all card wants and all trade lists to the Tcdb site.

Rookie cards of all the stars of MLB history! 

As my handle suggests, I am a big Trout collector, but just as big on Ohtani, Gunnar Henderson, Brady, and Jordan. Again, I am a big collector of rookie cards across the major sports, with a heavy focus on MLB, with some NFL, NBA, and even some NHL.

My PC guys are: Rickey, Ichiro, Alonso, Vlad Jr., & Langford.  I also love any former Arkansas Razorbacks (ie Kjerstad, Benintendi, Dom Fletcher, Isiah Campbell, Ryne Stanek, etc.).

I mainly build sets and insert sets aside from my PC.
