I am going to polite-fully borrow a very fitting quote from fellow trader FSCGrad777  - "my want list is quite narrow, so I am more than willing to sell cards if we don't match up for a trade." additionally, I am (SOMETTIMES) willing to dig through your (basketball, football, and non sport ONLY) FST cards to see if I can come up with something I like to trade for.

3/13/24 - I 'think' I am going to embark on working on ALL non numbered variations of the 22 and 23 NBA Prizm Monopoly sets, it is WAY more involved than I anticipated it would be with the original thought, but easily my favorite sport and board game growing ups, so why not...

3/12/24 - my son and my Pacers/Magic game experience was a GREAT success, not so much autographically (?), although HE was able to pull down 8 different players' autos (pics to be posted in the forum, hopefully), but the luxury seats were 1st class...access ALL around the court, through each team's tunnels before/during/after games, and all you can eat food/drink...we strongly recommended this experience to anyone willing to fork out a few 'extra' bucks who wants a close to the game action!

On that note, I am going to begin PCing former Arizona and now Pacers PG TJ McConnell, he is the epitome of hard work, a scrappy player who honestly just doesn't look like he belongs on the court with these other giants, but is a BEAST (he had 16/7/7 that game we went to), and oozes confidence, but in a professional way....he was extremely kind to my son after the Pacer win, so that goes a long way to me

2/4/24 - This may be common sense, but I have begun paying more attention on the scarcity/availability of cards on my FST list when comparing each side of the deal - many times, if I have THE only card on the site, I will use that as 'value' in consideration to what I am seeking in these trades - it may not be the most valuable card, but if its the only one available for trade and (for example 50+ people have it on their wantlist, to ME - it holds more value...and again, I am probably not breaking any new ground with this statement, I just wanted this to be here for when members read my profile on reasoning behind these proposals and counter offers

1/23/24 - My 13 year old son and I are fortunate enough to have 2nd row seats for the Pacers @ Magic game on 3/10, and we will have access to the player tunnel before and after the game, SO, my goal until then is to obtain as many RCs of players from those 2 teams to attempt to get autographed!

-Chris Herren (maybe the most confident caucasian hooper I have ever seen in person, his BABC AAU summer league performances here in Jax in 1994 were E P I C...)

6/15/23 - I have recently been selling more, I’m ALWAYS open to a sale, even the larger variety, and I pride myself on being very quick and efficient, so you WILL get your cards quick if payment is made quick, just fyi, if you can’t find enough to trade for from MY wantlist, this is ALWAYS a viable option ✌️😎

I’m all for exchanging pictures of cards to help clear up any questions you or I may have. Whether it be vintage, anything with a potential condition issue, or just nailing down that we’re talking about the same parallel. I myself am not uber focused on condition. What’s most important for me is getting the right version of the card I’m requesting. I have decided to scale back from trying to collect every Braves card ever made and concentrate on the sets I like. Lately it seems to be next to impossible to collect team sets since there are so many inserts, VAR, SP, and just all to many brands. Topps has once again turned collecting into $$$ for them by making so many different brands. The cost to collect is getting to be very expensive and making me question the hobby again. I still plan on trading and looking for the cards I am still missing.

I've been very blessed in my trades and transactions here on TCDB. Thank you to all. I will trade vintage for modern and vice versa as long as there is roughly equal value felt on both sides. I am a set builder and collecter. I do not speculate on my cards for future value. I do this for fun, not for profit. I will sell, but only to build a small bank of money to use for buying cards I can't trade for. I've traded hundreds of cards each way and I've done many 1 for 1 trades, so no trade is too big or small for me.

In packaging, I use painter's tape ONLY. I try to use a photo mailer for small trades of about a dozen or less.  I use #10 PWE for trades up to about 2 dozen cards and maybe 2 PWE for 4 dozen.  After 50 cards, I typically will use a bubble mailer with tracking.  If it is 200 or more cards, they will likely be in a box well padded.

5 cards incoming is a minimum for trades, please! (Unless it's a higher-value card)

I am prioritizing my collecting on Nebraska Cornhuskers currently, so any trades for those former players are preferred.

I care about VARs/variations/parallels. If it's documented that way on TCDb, that's the one I'm looking for! Please take a little time to confirm your cards being offered are correctly documented. Easy traps that everyone falls into are 1990s ProCards/CMC cardbacks and football hobby base versus retail base.

Declining trade offers with no message is of little use to the person initiating the trade, show some effort to those putting together trade offers and take a few seconds to note why the trade doesn't work in its current state. A few moments to communicate can lead to a deal getting done!

Big time Husker fan as I've grown up and lived in Nebraska my entire life. I'm an alum and will cheer for any sport.

Been a card collector since a wee child. Took a 15 year hiatus in college and post-college and getting back into it collecting my childhood favorites. Boy have things changed! I'll dabble in some new cards, thus, I have newer cards for trade as well.

My goal: is to help you complete your sets and/or collect your favorite players or teams. I only have 1-5% of my collection logged into TCDB thus far, so most likely have many more in your want list then what appears. I'm very open and actually prefer trading 100-400 cards for 5-15 cards in return. I understand a number of my want list includes potentially "higher" priced cards ($1-$20+), so if I need to trade 1:10 or 1:20 if you're open to that, I am as well and will ship accordingly. Curating a collection of basketball cards with referees in the background. Attempting to 1) acquire two copies (one base and one parallel if available) of every basketball card with a referee's face visible and 2) identify each referee.

  Let's say we match on 100 cards. There are a fair amount of stars, commons, high value stuff. It can be definitely time consuming to add for both sides. Add what you are looking for from me and add 1 or more cards from your side and send it over to me. I can fill in the blanks to make that trade work for me. If you want to counter the trade feel free to do that so it works for you. I would hope for a fair amount of give and take dealing with common and star cards. Commons arent very valuable to me going to or coming from me. Just saying. If we can do a larger trade for more cards why wouldnt we?  This may not be everyone's ideal way to trade but I figure we get a lot more accomplished that way. if you want to do all commons on one end and all stars on another let's do that. Thanks.

AGAIN: I don't value common cards very highly whether they are mine or yours. you give me 20 i will give you 20.    I will counter 90 % of the time.  I'm a set collector working on sets. Volume trades are always welcome

I have decided to ship only 1 day a week because it's easier for me. single card trades will be the same day.

I missed the forum post about bobscardz and his banishment. I would have voted NO because he hasn't even tried to send me my end of the cards he got from me. He marked it as problem and never fixed it ever since he left his UNWARRANTED negative against me. He is a spiteful, hateful internet scammer as far as I can see. I am not perfect but I make up for my mistakes. my 2 cents.

Thanks for reading my profile. I enjoy trading cards I don't need for those that I do. I've been in this hobby for many years (I remember opening 1955 Bowman packs at our local candy store)! I usually don't pull my end before making a proposal; most times, I'm trying to get a feel for how doable it is, and it saves me from having to refile cards if things fizzle out or if I'm countered.  I will, however, (usually) pull before accepting a trade.  Please counter, if need be!  Communication is key to good trading!   I have some physical limitations..it may take me a bit to pull cards so your patience is appreciated!  

1.  My top priority is completing sets.  

2.  Recent Phillies teamsets and inserts.  I do multiple teamsets to help local Philthies Phans!

3. Older Phillies teamset needs..all brands.

As mentioned, I love to trade, will reluctantly sell ... cheap, if we cannot swap!  PLMK what I have that you can't live without!  Phillies is my team, through thick and (mostly) thin!  PWE trades are great and assumed unless we agree otherwise - bubbles used if worth the shipping costs!  Slowing down though - the old body won't let me hoss those 5000 count boxes too much - thanks in advance for your patience with me!!
