Recently cut up some 90s Pirates cards because the kids made a pirate ship out of a Kleenex box. Cut out the logos and glued them onto the box for added decoration. Did one from 86 Donruss, too, to get one with an old school logo.

Yep! What kid didn't destroy cards in their bicycle spokes?

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Well growing up in the 90s I certainly didn’t.  But keep in mind I was being told my Shawn Kemp cards would be bringing my 2024 self untold riches.  Maybe they were correct if the riches are nostalgia.

One that comes to mind is in 1979, I scribbled out the Blue Jays and wrote in Rangers on my Bump Willis card.  I still have the card.

I used to use Teams I didnt like as dart board targets, Including some guy named Gretzky. Hated the oilers growing up. Wish I still had them.

I "frankensteined" some baseball cards to make custom name tags for my dorm neighbors in college.

Yes if the card was damaged i ripped it in half

and on 1 person card that i despise so much when i pulled any card of his i used it as target practice at 50 yards 100 yards and 150 yard with a scope.  Comes in handy when i have coyotes attacking my cattle. (The person i am talking about never played sports but came in packs in both upper deck and topps
